The Petanque Game, also known as Juego de petanca, Petanque-Spiel, Gioco della petanque, Jogo de petanque, and Petanque spel is a recreational game that can be played outdoors on suitable surfaces such as grass, sand, or flat terrain. It is recommended to use the game in a safe environment and open areas. The game should not be used in bad weather and should not be thrown at people or animals.

  5. This game is not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

Usage

The game can be played by two teams. The first team to score 12 points wins the game. To start the game, a line is drawn to determine the position of the thrower. The distance between the thrower and the Cochonnet should be approximately 6 to 8 meters.
The player who starts the game throws the Cochonnet from the starting point, followed by their ball and then the opposing team’s turn begins.

Cleaning and Storage

After use, wipe the balls and Cochonnet with a soft, damp cloth. Store them in a clean and dry place in their carrying bag. To wash the carry bag, refer to the care label sewn into the bag.

Use of the device

The aim of the game is to throw the balls as close as possible to the jack. The game is designed as standard for 2 to 6 players. When there are more than 2 players, divide the players into two teams. The first team to score 12 points wins the game. Each team flips a coin to see which player will start and then draws a circle or a line to determine the position of the thrower. The distance between the thrower and the jack should be about 6-8 metres. The player who starts the game throws the jack from the starting point. The same player then throws the ball and then the opposing team takes their turn. The point is awarded to the ball that is closest to the jack. The team that does not have the point continues to throw until they regain the point or run out of balls. It is possible to hit the opposing team’s ball or jack to move the balls already thrown or the jack. Once all the balls have been played, the points can be counted. A point is awarded to the ball that is closest to the jack. If the ball touches the jack, it is worth 2 points. The team whose ball is closest to the jack scores as many points as they have balls closer to the jack than the opposing team. If both teams are equidistant from the jack (get a measuring tape to measure this distance), no one scores. Additional rounds are played until one team reaches 12 points.

Cleaning and storage

Wipe the balls with a soft, damp cloth. Store the dry and clean in its carrying bag. Store it in a clean and dry place. To wash the carry bag, refer to the care label sewn into the bag. Find our entire collection on our website www.livoo.en.
