General Instructions
PLEASE, TAKE TIME TO READ WELL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE PARTICULARLY BEFORE THE FIRST USE.
A misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure that you use the appliance for the use for which it is designed; we refuse any responsibilities as for the damages by an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.

The safety instructions do not by themselves eliminate any danger completely and proper accident prevention measures must always be used.

Place the appliance on a flat, dry and stable surface.

Never use this appliance if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped, damaged or if it has been dropped into water. Take it to a service centre for inspection and repair.

Never try to dismantle the appliance yourself.

There is a risk of injury if the appliance is misused.

Do not cover the appliance during use.

Do not move the appliance during use or when it is hot.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and use maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.

Do not pull on the power cord or the unit itself to unplug.

Do not let the cord hang over the table or counter or touch a hot surface.

The socket must always remain accessible when the appliance is plugged in.

Only connect the appliance to a socket with a built-in earth connection. If an extension cord is used, it must have a built-in earth connection and must be able to withstand the power of the appliance.
Make sure that no one is trapped inside. -
Make sure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning and storing it.

It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food.

This type of device is not designed to be used continuously, it is not a professional device, it is necessary to stop it temporarily.

Never use the device outdoors and never leave it in a place exposed to bad weather and humidity.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments
- farm houses
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments
- bed and breakfast type environments
(*) Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.

DESCRIPTION
Before first use:
-
Take apart the removable non-stick grill plate, small pans and spatulas, clean with a soft damp cloth.
Place your appliance on a stable surface. -
Ensure the controller is in the “O” position before plug in.

Install the grill plate on the heating element (use only the supplied grill)

Never use aluminium foil or anything else between grill and heating element.
-
During the first use, pre-heating for 5 minutes to remove the protective coating. There may be a slight odour, or a bit of smoke, it is normal, well ventilated the room.

During the first five uses, put a bit of oil on the grill plate and pans after pre-heating and wipe it with a soft cloth.
Place the device on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface
USING YOUR APPLIANCE

After plugging the appliance, push the button on “I” position, it will pre-heat during few minutes, after pre-heating, the appliance is ready for use.

As the different heat of cooking request, put your food on the pans then place them under the heating sources. Or place your food directly on the grill plate for the purpose of grilling.
Note: Do not place frozen food on the grill plate or pans.
Do not put acidic food (such as vinegar-based products, mustards…) on the grill.
Do not leave the appliance on and unused for more than 30 minutes because the grill will become too hot for optimal cooking. -
After use, turn the switch to “O” position and unplug it from the socket. Wait until the appliance is completely cool down before moving or cleaning
Be very careful when you use cooking oil, overhead oil could ignite and start fire.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Caution: do not use wire brush or any abrasive items or liquids.
- Before cleaning, unplug the appliance.
- Do not immerse the base of the appliance in water.
- Wash the plate and the pans with hot soapy water and a sponge without abrasive materials.
- Clean the spatulas with hot soapy water but do not soak them.
- Use a damp cloth to clean the stand and the heating element.
- Do not put the elements in the dishwasher
Correct disposal of the unit (Electrical and Electronic Equipment)

The European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed
of in the normal household waste stream. Old appliances must be collected
separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials
they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The
symbol of the crossed out dustbin is marked on all products to remind the
obligations of separate collection. Consumers should contact their local
authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their
product.
