Product Information

The Zerotech Binoculars come with a lifetime warranty that is fully transferable. The binoculars have Tube Focus Adjuster, Image Focus Adjuster, Twist-up Eye Cups, and Objective Lenses. There are three types of binoculars: Thrive, Thrive HD, and Thrive HD (Compact).

Product Usage Instructions

Adjust the optical tubes so that the center of each tube aligns perfectly with your pupils. Hold the tubes with both hands and raise them to your eyes in the normal viewing position. Move the tubes in and out until you achieve a single circular field of view.
Once the tubes are adjusted to the correct width to suit your eyes, adjust the optics to suit your eyesight.
Find an object with a reasonable level of detail, such as a tree, approximately 15 meters away.
Adjust the left side tube by focusing on the object at 15 meters through the left tube using your left eye and use the image focus adjuster to achieve a crystal clear image.
With your left eye shut, look through the right tube with your right eye and use the tube focus adjuster to achieve a crystal-clear image.

Note: Do not touch the image focus adjuster once you achieve a crystal- clear image through the left tube.

ADJUSTING THE BINOCULARS TO YOUR EYES

It is important to adjust the optical tubes so that the centre of each tube aligns perfectly with your pupils. Once this is achieved, your eyes will be centred in the field of view for each optical tube and you will have an unobstructed circular field of view.
To adjust the binoculars, hold the tubes with both hands and raise them to your eyes in the normal viewing position. Move the tubes in and out until you achieve a single circular field of view. The optical tubes are now correctly aligned with your eyes.
Once you have adjusted the tubes to the correct width to suit your eyes, it is now time to adjust the optics to suit your eyesight.

Firstly, find an object with a reasonable level of detail, such as a tree, approximately 15 metres away
You will notice that the tube focus adjuster is located on the right side tube. The first step of this process is to adjust the left side tube, so shut your right eye for this step.
With your right eye shut, focus on the object at 15 meters through the left tube using your left eye and use the image focus adjuster to achieve a crystal clear image. Once this is achieved, do not touch the image focus adjuster for the remainder of the steps in this process.
Now, with your left eye shut, look through the right tube with your right eye and use the tube focus adjuster to achieve a crystal clear image.
You have now focused both tubes to suit your eyesight. The only adjustment required from here is using the image focus adjuster for different distances.

COMPACT MODEL

Bring the binoculars up to your eyes and adjust the width of the optical tubes until you achieve a comfortable field of view.
With your right eye shut, look through the left side eyepiece at an object approximately 15 meters away. Use the image focus adjuster wheel, located on top between the tubes, to achieve a sharp image.
Now shut your left eye and look through the right side eyepiece at the same object. Use only the tube focus adjuster wheel, located between the eyepieces, to achieve a sharp image.
Your new binoculars are now ready to use. Simply rotate the image focus adjuster wheel to achieve a sharp image at any distance. You may also wish to twist up the eye cups for comfort.

CARING FOR YOUR BINOCULARS

Always check that all external lenses are free of dust and debris. Dust and debris on the lenses can lead to scratching of the lens surface.
Always use the lens cloth provided to clean the lenses. Never use tissues or clothing items to clean the lenses as it will result scratching of the lens surface.
Always try to protect your binoculars from being bumped or dropped.
Never use chemicals or sprays to clean any surface of your binoculars. Chemicals and sprays may cause damage to the moulded rubber surfaces and the lenses.
Never leave your binoculars exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time.
Never look directly at the sun with your binoculars. This WILL cause serious damage to your eyes.
