GENERAL SAFETY AND USE OF THE TABLE

  1. Please read the instructions before using the product.
  2. Before using, place the product on a flat surface.
  3. Before use, make sure that the product does not wobble or tilt, and that all elements are properly attached and tightened.
  4. Do not use the product if any of the product components are malfunctioning or damaged.
  5. Do not stand or jump on the product.
  6. Do not put fingers or other parts of the body into the area of the regulation mechanisms.
  7. Do not expose the product to strong sunlight.
  8. Do not use the product in extreme temperature and humidity conditions.
  9. Do not allow the product to be loaded with a pressure greater than the maximum specified in the technical parameters, ie 200 [kg).
  10. After bringing the table from a cold room, connect it to the mains after waiting 15 minutes.
  11. It is recommended that the table be fully adjusted in height from minimum to maximum to ensure even distribution of the lubricant inside the motor. This ensures proper table maintenance and extends the engine life. The operation should be repeated 2 or 4 times min. once a week.
  12. Do not remove the plug from the socket by pulling the cord.
  13. Use the product only in accordance with its intended purpose, in the event of use other than that specified in this manual, there is a serious risk of injury, damage to health and damage to the product.
  14. Do not make any modifications or repairs to the product, do not disassemble the product.
  15. In the event of finding any defects, immediately contact the manufacturer and do not use the product until the defect is remedied.
  16. No contraindications for the use of the product only after meeting the above recommendations.
  17. Each serious incident related to the device should be reported to the manufacturer and the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products.

INTENDED USE OF THE PRODUCT

The Habys Upright Chiro Z7 stationary table is a professional table for chiropractic, manual techniques and osteopathy. Thanks to a wide range of adjustments in various planes, segments for “drop” techniques and an electric top lifting system, the table is a perfect complement to the therapist’s work.
Due to its design solutions and functions, the product should be used by personnel qualified in the field of manual therapy, chiropractic or osteopathy.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The metal structure of the table should be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild cleaning agents. The elements of the upholstery should be cleaned with generally available agents intended for cleaning upholstery. Do not use harsh chemicals and those based on alcohol.

CONSTRUCTION AND TECHNICAL DATA

Product components:

  1. Frame – strong and durable structure made of a steel bearing frame covered with a varnish coating.

  2. Support elements – made of 40 [mm] integral foam.

  3. Electric system for lifting the table top in the range of 55 97 [cm], adjustment by means of: – central control frame; – handheld remote (additional option).

  4. Wheels with an additional PU layer and a locking system.

  5. The lumbar section adjustment system based on 2 gas springs enabling:
    – up / down movement (tilting) in the range of -40 ° to 22 °;
    – lateral movement (swing) in the range -18 ° to 18 °.

  6. The headrest adjustment system based on a gas spring that enables:
    – up / down movement (tilting) of the entire frame headrest in the range of -40 ° to 30 0;
    – additional movement of the headrest itself in the range of 0 ° to 30 °.

  7. A system that enables traction for the cervical and lumbar spine in the total range of 13 [cm].

  8. A system that enables the “drop” technique to be carried out on the lumbar, thoracic and cervical spine.

  9. Armrest adjustment system in the range of 0-20 [cm].

INSTALLATION

  1. Unpacking
    Unpack the table. Check that it has not suffered any damage during transport. If it is damaged, do not connect it and notify your dealer.

  2. Connection to the power network.
    Before inserting the plug into a power outlet, make sure that:
    – the socket is properly grounded and complies with the applicable regulations;
    – the socket is able to withstand the maximum power load of the device, as given in the Technical Data point; – the voltage of the electric current in the network is consistent with the data given in the Technical Data point;
    – the socket corresponds to the plug. If not, replace the socket.

Do not install the devices in the open air. Electric actuators may work not longer than 2 minutes. Restart is possible after 18 minutes of rest. After installation of the table the mains socket should be easily accessible. Do not use the extension cords. The cable should not be bent. The cable of the power supply may be replaced only by an authorised specialist. No independent repairs of the electric actuators should be performed. Avoid direct sunlight, UV radiations, rain, extensive dust, moisture.

The manufacturer bears no responsibility for the product if the above- mentioned rules are not followed.

PRODUCT USE

  1. Securing the patient.
    The table is equipped with 2 straps (included) to secure the patient against further work. The belts should be attached using special holders on both sides of the table.

  2. Adjusting the table height with the steering frame.
    The steering is done by moving and holding any point of the frame with the foot vertically (up or down). The steering frame is located around the base of the table. By sliding the frame down, the table top rises. By shifting the frame upwards, the table top is lowered.

  3. Adjusting the table height with a manual remote control (available as an option).
    The control is done by pressing one of the buttons marked with arrows – up/down.

  4. Headrest adjustment.
    The headrest adjustment system is based on the operation of a gas spring, after releasing the yellow lever, set the headrest in the desired position.

  5. Adjusting the armrests.
    Adjustment is made by releasing the lock and moving the armrest to the desired height.

  6. Using the drop function.
    Before starting the drop techniques, lay the patient on his stomach, make sure that the patient’s position is safe, all belaying elements (belts, headrest, armrests) have been adjusted to the patient’s anatomy.
    The technique should be performed only by qualified personnel, improper execution of the technique may result in permanent injury to the patient.

Drop for the cervical section (Fig. 6).
Raise the cervical section using the lever located at the front of the headrest.
Perform the cervical vertebrae drop technique by rapidly and vigorously compressing the cervical segment, which will force the cervical section of the table to drop.
Drop for the thoracic section (Fig. 7).
Raise the chest section by pressing the lever downwards (for the therapist’s convenience, the lever is located on both sides under this table section).
Perform the thoracic vertebrae drop technique by pressing the thoracic segment quickly and vigorously, which will force the table section to fall down.
Drop for the lumbar section (Fig. 8).
Raise the lumbar section by pressing the lever downwards (for the therapist’s convenience, the lever is located on both sides under this table section).
Perform the vertebral drop technique in the lumbar region through a quick and vigorous pressure that will force the table section to drop.
Drop for the pelvic section (Fig. 9).

The reaction force of the drop technique can be adjusted by setting the required range with the knob on the right side for the cervical segments and on both sides of the thoracic, lumbar and pelvic segments.

Bend adjustment for the pelvic segment and lower limbs
The motion function is carried out with the use of two gas springs.
To move sideways, unlock the adjustment system by moving the yellow lever (Fig. 10) up. To lock the movement in the required position, block the system by moving the lever down.
When moving, use the handle (Fig. 11).
To unlock the vertical movement of the table, use the yellow lever (Fig. 12) by moving it upwards. To lock the movement in the required position, block the system by moving the lever down.

Realization of the lumbar traction.

Footrest adjustment.
The footrest adjustment system allows to obtain a position convenient for the patent through the possibility of two-plane movement.
The movement of the footrest is carried out after unlocking the protection on the left side, additionally pressing the yellow lever unlocks the possibility of movement of the entire footrest frame.HABYS Stationary Chiropractic Table

Chassis
The running system is started by lifting the table with the foot lever. After pressing the lever down, the table supported on wheels can be moved. In order to lock the table in the selected position, lower the table on the feet by lifting the lever to the upper position.

Safety switch.
The table is equipped with a safety switch (Fig. 19). After turning the key to the “closed padlock” position, the power supply to the table is turned off.HABYS Stationary Chiropractic Table Upright Chiro Z7 -

UTILIZATION

In accordance with the provisions of the law on electrical and electronic equipment waste, it is prohibited to dispose of used equipment marked with the symbol of the crossed out bin with other household waste. Used equipment should be returned to proper collection point. The above statutory obligations were introduced in order to limit the amount of waste generated from electrical and electronic equipment waste and ensure an appropriate level of collection, recovery and recycling of used equipment. The correct implementation of these obligations is important especially when used equipment contains hazardous components that have especially negative impact on the environment and human health.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

  1. For the purposes hereof:
  2. „Seller” shall mean HABYS Sp. z o.o. located in Jasto, Poland, at 16 Produkcyjna Street.
  3. „Purchaser” shall mean the final Purchaser of the equipment.
  4. c)„Authorised Service” shall mean the service maintained by the Seller.
  5. The Seller shall ensure good quality and operation of the equipment for which the guarantee card has been issued for the period stated in the card.
  6. Guaranteed repair shall not cover activities provided for in the instruction manual which should be performed by the Purchaser themself.
  7. The guarantee shall not cover: damages to the equipment resulting from inappropriate usage or usage incompliant with the instruction manual, maintenance instructions, transportation instructions or additionally, any mechanical damages; colour differences between the parts exposed and not exposed to sunlight; impact of chemicals or abrasive agents, atmospheric pollution and accidental puncture, the presence of spots or rings on the oily or colouring substances (fats, creams, lotions or oils); permanent staining of some colouring agents, such as: ink, permanent markers or other non-colorfast dyes used in the production of clothing (for example: blue jeans).
  8. The Purchaser shall lose their guarantee rights if: the Seller discovers that during the guarantee period, the equipment was repaired outside the authorised service; any design modifications were introduced thereto without the Seller’s consent the equipment was still used following the disclosure of a constructional defect.
  9. In cases provided for in point 5, irrespective of the loss of guarantee rights, HABYS Sp. z o.o. shall not be responsible for any damage to property or person which might be caused by operation of such equipment.
  10. Defects or damages to the structure of the equipment resulting from the equipment itself, disclosed during the guarantee period, shall be removed free of charge within 14 days of submission of the equipment to the Seller or authorised service. Costs of transportation shall be borne by the Purchaser, if complaint is justified.
  11. In order to enjoy guarantee rights, it shall be necessary to fulfill the following four conditions jointly:
  12. Production of an invoice or other proof of equipment purchase by the Purchaser;
  13. Reporting the fault within 14 days of disclosure thereof;
  14. Sending back the damaged equipment in an original packaging.
  15. The guarantee period shall be extended by the guarantee repair time, counted from the date of delivering the equipment to the Seller or authorised service to the day on which the equipment is made available
  16. to the Purchaser to recover.
  17. Identification of the manner and necessary scope of the repair shall be the responsibility of the Seller or authorised service.
  18. The Purchaser shall be entitled to, at their discretion, the right to claim equipment replacement or reimbursement of the price paid if:
  19. The Seller has not enabled the Purchaser to recover the equipment repaired within 14 days of the Purchaser’s delivering the equipment to the Seller or authorised service.
  20. Within the guarantee period, four repairs have been made and the equipment still reveals defects making it impossible to operate it in compliance with its destination.
  21. Equipment replacement or reimbursement of the price paid shall require the Seller’s consent each time.
  22. The Seller shall not undertake responsibility for damages to the equipment aroused during transportation by a forwarding company. It is the Purchaser’s obligation to inspect the technical condition of the equipment upon the reception thereof.
  23. If transportation was commissioned by the Seller and the goods have been demaged, the Purchaser is obligated to: a) let the Seller know in 3 day time from the date of delivery about any demages of equipment, which happened during transportation in order to enable the Seller to file a complaint with the forwarding company. b) provide the Seller protocol of complaint which is written between the Purchaser and transportation company.
  24. Terms of guarantee contained herein shall be the sole and original terms of guarantee for Habys products.
  25. The warranty period is: construction 24 months, upholstery 24 months.
