Converting the rechargeable battery
The rechargeable battery can be converted between:

  • 45.115.02 (4.0 Ah / 72 Wh) –> low stress for the battery resulting in a total service life which is about three times longer
  • 45.115.03 (6.0 Ah / 108 Wh) –> long running time per battery charge

The rechargeable battery is supplied in 45.115.02 (4.0 Ah / 72 Wh).

These articles can be converted between each other by entering a code (9-digit chronological key sequence). To do so, proceed as follows:
Important: Read the instructions in full before you start to convert the rechargeable battery.

  1. Press the button for the battery charge level indicator (A) and hold it pressed for about 6 seconds until the battery starts counting from 1 to 9 in the display (B). Then let go.
  2. To convert from 45.115.02 (4.0 Ah / 72 Wh) to 45.115.03 (6.0 Ah / 108 Wh), press the button (A) briefl y when the fi gure 6 is shown. After this, counting continues as normal up to 9. (Code: 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0)
    • To switch over from 45.115.03 (6.0 Ah / 108 Wh) to 45.115.02 (4.0 Ah / 72 Wh), press the button (A) briefl y when the fi gure 4 is shown. After this, counting continues as normal up to 9. (Code: 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 0)
  3. Once the sequence has counted up to 9 in the display (B), the capacity of the converted article will be shown as “6Ah” or “4Ah” for about 2 seconds.

The rechargeable battery has now been converted.
Important: Conversion only takes place if the button (A) is pressed precisely when the digit 4 or 6 appears. This operation is necessary in order to prevent unintended conversion. After conversion, the rechargeable battery is a different device with a different article number. The new specifications label can be obtained by going to www.isc-gmbh.info.

Attention: For the lithium-ion battery to be allowed to be sent or transported in accordance with special provision 188, it must be converted to 45.115.02 (4.0 Ah / 72 Wh)! Defective lithium-ion batteries are not allowed to be sent normally! In this connection, contact ISC GmbH, Eschenstrasse 6, 94405 Landau/Isar (Germany),
www.isc-gmbh.info

Battery charge level indicator
Press the battery charge level indicator button (A) briefl y. The display (B) for the battery charge level indicator initially displays the charge status in % and then the current set charge level consecutively for 2 seconds each.

Important: The charge level adjusts accordingly after conversion to 45.115.02 (4.0 Ah / 72 Wh) or 45.115.03 (6.0 Ah / 108 Wh) and may vary from that of the previous article. If, for example, the rechargeable battery in 45.115.02 (4.0 Ah / 72 Wh) had a charge level of 100% and it is converted to 45.115.03 (6.0 Ah / 108 Wh), the charge level then will be well below 100%.You therefore then need to charge up the battery before doing anything else.
