Product Information

Digital Stone Heaters

The Digital Stone Heaters are modern devices equipped with an electronic programmer certified with CE. These devices are designed to heat basalt stones for massages. The package includes a user manual and warranty, a tank, a ladle, and all necessary materials for use. The device is available in two models: Model 17l and Model 6l.

Product Usage Instructions

Safety Precautions:

  • The device should only be used for heating basalt stones for massages.
  • Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
  • Keep the device away from children and pets.
  • Never insert stones directly into the heater as it may damage the device.
  • Use a special glove or ladle to remove stones from the heater to avoid burns.
  • Do not fill the device with boiling or steaming water to avoid burns.

First-time Use:

  1. Unpack the device and remove the tank, ladle, and all informational materials.
  2. Place the device in a well-ventilated room on a surface that can withstand heat.
  3. Ensure that the power supply is 230V (information on the bottom of the device).
  4. When using the device for the first time, smoking may occur after heating.

Usage

  1. Clean all stones before and after each use.
  2. Place a towel at the bottom of the tank and then place the stones on top of it.
  3. Add water to the tank until it covers the stones but not overflowing.
  4. Connect the device to the power supply.
  5. Press the On/Off button and set the desired temperature using the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons.
  6. The heat indicator lamp will turn off automatically when thedevice reaches the desired temperature or when it is disconnected from the power supply.
  7. Carefully remove the first stone, check its temperature with your finger, and then hold it in your palm. The stone should be warm but not hot enough to cause discomfort.
  8. After the massage, press the On/Off button to turn off the device.
  9. Always handle stones with care to avoid injury or damage to the device.

Product Maintenance and Cleaning

  1. Clean the device after each use.
  2. Set the temperature regulator to minimum before cleaning. Turn off and unplug the device.
  3. Allow the device to cool down to room temperature.
  4. Remove stones carefully and then empty the water from the tank.
  5. Clean the tank and lid with a small amount of soap and warm water. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.

APPLICATION

The device is intended for heating basalt massage stones. The heater is a modern device equipped with an electronic programmer, CE certified.

CONSTRUCTION OF HEATERS

  1. Display No. 1 – Set temperature (SETTING)
    The display shows the set internal temperature of the device. It also informs the user each time any deviations or errors in operation occur with the ERROR code.

  2. Display No. 2 – Current temperature (CURRENT)
    The display shows the current internal temperature of the device. The display also allows you to select the temperature scale in which the reading is to be made namely the Farenheit or Celsius scale.

  3. Control indicator light (HEAT)
    The indicator light switches off automatically when the device reaches the set temperature or is disconnected from the power supply.

  4. Plus button (+)
    When pressed, it increases the temperature range or switches the F ° / C ° temperature scale.

  5. Minus button (-)
    When pressed, it reduces the temperature range or switches the F ° / C ° temperature scale.

  6. On / off button (ON / OFF)
    After pressing, the device is switched on or off.

  7. Cover
    The use of the lid during the operation of the device allows to maintain a stable temperature inside the device.

  8. Water tank
    Easy to keep clean and comfortable to use, removable water container, can be filled with water both after removing from the device and when installed in the right place in the device.

  9. Heater for stones with an electronic programmer.

SAFETY RULES

  1. Do not pour water into the water heater (9).
  2. Do not touch hot surfaces.
  3. Do not put the cord, plug or entire device into water or other liquids.
  4. Before disconnecting the device from the power supply, switch off the device.
  5. Do not use the device while bathing.
  6. Exercise extreme caution if children are present near the operating equipment.
  7. Unplug the appliance when it is not used or is being cleaned.
  8. Allow the device to cool before removing any parts or before cleaning.
  9. Do not use the device with a damaged cord or plug.
  10. Making changes to the device may lead to fire or electric shock.
  11. The device should be used in closed rooms.
  12. The power cord should not hang over the table or touch hot surfaces.
  13. Do not place the device on gas burners, electric heaters or ovens.
  14. Take precautions when moving the hot water heater.
  15. The device may only be used for the applications described in this manual.
  16. The water tank can be filled up to a level of 2.5 cm below the top edge.
  17. Always put the stones first in the tank and then pour the water.
  18. It is forbidden to scoop water using the device when it is connected to the power.
  19. Check the temperature of the stone with your fingers and then hold it in your hands before placing it on a patient.
  20. To avoid burns, use a special glove or spoon to remove the stones from the heater.
  21. To avoid burns, do not fill the appliance with boiling or steaming water.

FIRST USE

  1. Unpack the heater and remove the water tank, spoon and all information materials from it. Place device in a well-ventilated room on a heat-resistant surface.

  2. Make sure you received the heater for the 230 V power supply (information on the bottom of the device).

  3. When the device is used for the first time, after heating, it is natural that smoke comes from elements that are exposed to high temperatures for the first time. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure good ventilation in the room.
    Follow the instructions below:

    • Place the device in a well-ventilated area on a heat-resistant surface.
    • Remove the lid and water tank.
    • Set the thermostat to the maximum temperature range (SETTING display) 70 ° C or 160 ° F.
    • Let the device smoke for about an hour or longer.
  4. Smoke is normal during the first use and will not occur during next treatments.

  5. After the smoke disappears, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down.

USE

  1. Wash all stones before first use and after each treatment.
  2. Place the towel on the bottom of the tank and place stones on it.
  3. Before connecting the device to the power supply, pour water into the tank to cover the stones, but not more than up to 2.5 cm below the upper edge of the tank. Set the required temperature. Cover the container with lid.
  4. Connect the device to the power supply and press the plus (+) or minus (-) button to select the temperature scale between the Farenheit and Celsius scale, which will be displayed in the display window No. 2: current temperature display (CURRENT).
  5. Press the on / off button (6) on the device, then press the plus (+) or minus (-) button in order to set the required temperature, which will be shown in the display window No. 1: the set temperature display.
  6. The control indicator light is on when the heater is in operation and turns off automatically when the device reaches the set value or the device is without power supply.
  7. Carefully remove the first stone from the tank, check its temperature with your finger and then take it in your hand. The stone should be significantly warm, but it cannot burn and cause discomfort.
  8. After finishing the procedure, press the on / off button (6) to turn off the device.
  9. Never put stones directly into the heater as this can lead to damage of the device.
  10. Take caution when inserting, removing and moving stones.
  11. Do not use stones on red patches of skin.
  12. Hot stones should never be laid on wounds, burns, abrasions, on skin which is sensitive or damaged in any way.

Maintenance and cleaning

  1. Clean the device after each session.
  2. Before cleaning, set the temperature controller to the minimum. Turn the device off.
  3. Cool the device to room temperature.
  4. Carefully remove the stones and then pour out the water.
  5. Clean the container and lid with water and a small amount of soap, then rinse with clean water and dry with a towel.
  6. Wipe the heater with a soft cloth. Never immerse the heater in water.
  7. Clean stones with warm water and a small amount of soap or other mild detergent. Rinse stones with warm water and dry them.

Exploitation remarks

  1. If the temperature is lower than 0 ° C (or 32 ° F), then the current temperature display shows “L” message, which indicates that the device is below normal temperature and cannot be used. If “E1” appears on the display – the device has exceeded the normal range of temperature and cannot be used.
  2. If “E2” appears in the current temperature display, it indicates a fault of internal temperature sensor. The water will continue to heat up. In this case, stop using the device, immediately disconnect the power source and call for service.
  3. The message “- -” – the appearance of such a message on the display of the set temperature, means that it has not been set yet. Set the required temperature using the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons.
  4. Resetting the device: Press and hold the button on / off (6) for 3 seconds in order to start the automatic diagnostic process. If the “198” message appears on the set temperature display and the “176” message appears on the current temperature display, and an audible signal follows, it means that the device is working properly.
    If the message “E1” appears, it may mean that the automatic diagnostic process has not been terminated correctly and the device may require repair. The appearance of the message “E2” indicates damage to the internal temperature sensor. In this case, the use of device should be discontinued.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

  1. For the purposes of the guarantee:
    • “Manufacturer” refers to HABYS Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością (Limited Liability Company) with its registered seat in Jasło, ul. Produkcyjna 16, 38-200 Jasło, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs kept by the District Court in Rzeszów, XII Commercial Division of the National Court Register, with the assigned KRS number: 0000513317, with the share capital in the amount of PLN 10.750.000 (ten million seven hundred fifty thousand zlotys), the capital has been fully paid up, NIP:  6852208438, REGON: 180186290.
    • “Buyer” refers to the final Buyer of the equipment, manufactured by the Manufacturer, including both the consumer and the entrepreneur.
    • “Distributor” refers to an entity that, under an agreement with the Manufacturer, sells the Equipment in a designated area.
    • “Authorized Service Centre” refers only to a service held by the Manufacturer or a service indicated by the Manufacturer and held by its Distributor,
    • “Equipment” refers to a movable item, manufactured by the Manufacturer, being the subject of the sales and to which the said warranty applies.
  2. The manufacturer ensures good quality and efficient operation of the equipment for which the warranty card has been issued for the period of: 2 years.
  3. The guarantee repair does not include the activities provided for in the manual, which the Buyer is obliged to perform on his own (installation of the Equipment, maintenance of the Equipment, etc.).
  4. Liability under the guarantee covers only defects resulting from causes inherent in the Equipment., In particular, the guarantee does not cover any damage resulting from improper or inconsistent use, storage, maintenance or transport of the Equipment, as well as colour differences between the parts exposed and not exposed to solar radiation, the influence of chemical or abrasive agents, atmospheric pollution or accidental punctures and abrasions, the presence of stains or rings from greasy or dying substances (fats, creams, lotions or oils), permanent staining with dyes such as inks, permanent markers or other non-permanent dyes used in the production of clothing (e.g. dyes used to make blue jeans).
  5. The guarantee does not cover any mechanical damage to the Equipment.
  6. The buyer loses the guarantee rights in the event of:
    • the Manufacturer states that the Equipment was repaired by entity other than the Authorized Service,
    • making any design modifications to the Equipment without the prior written consent of the Manufacturer,
    • using the Equipment contrary to its intended use,
    • using the Equipment after revealing any defect in it.
  7. Regardless of the loss of the guarantee rights, described above, in point 6, the Manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage to property or caused to third parties, which may be caused by the use of the Equipment covered by the guarantee.
  8. The guarantee does not exclude or limit the rights resulting from the warranty for defects. Exercising the rights under the guarantee does not affect the seller’s liability under the warranty for defects. If the Buyer exercises the rights under the guarantee, the time limit for the exercise of the rights under the warranty for defects is suspended on the date the Manufacturer is notified of the defect. The period runs further from the date of the Manufacturer’s refusal to perform the obligations arising from the guarantee or the ineffective expiry of the time for their performance.
  9. The scope of the guarantee coverage is limited to the territory of the country in which the Equipment was sold.
  10. The Manufacturer shall perform its obligations under the guarantee (removal of defects or damage to the structure of the Equipment arising from reasons inherent in the Equipment, and disclosed during the guarantee period) free of charge within 14 days from the date of delivery of the Equipment to the Manufacturer or the Authorized Service Centre. If the repair of the Equipment cannot be performed within the above-mentioned period, the Manufacturer shall inform the Buyer of the above, and also indicate the reasons for the delay and the expected date of fulfilment of the recognized guarantee request.
  11. The use of the guarantee rights requires the total (cumulative) fulfilment of four conditions:
    • presenting a VAT invoice, receipt or other proof of purchase of the equipment to the Manufacturer, photographic documentation of the defective Equipment, together with a brief description of the reasons for submitting a guarantee claim,
    • reporting the defect within 14 (fourteen) days of its detection,
    • delivering the Equipment in original packaging at the expense of the Manufacturer, to the address indicated above in the guarantee card or to the address of the Authorized Service Centre,
    • designation of the place where the Manufacturer delivers the equipment after repairing it (limited to the country in which the Equipment was purchased).
  12. The guarantee period is extended for the duration of the repair, starting from the date of delivery of the Equipment to the Manufacturer or to the Authorized Service Centre, to the date on which the Equipment was returned to the Buyer.
  13. The responsibility of the Manufacturer or the Authorized Service Centre is to define the scope and the method of repairing the Equipment.
  14. The guarantee is limited to the repair of the Equipment. The Manufacturer reserves the right to replace the Equipment with a non-defective one, if the repair exceeds the price of the Equipment indicated in the proof of purchase. Under the guarantee, the Buyer shall not be entitled to demand that the Equipment be replaced with a new one. The guarantee, in particular, does not cover liability for losses or damages incurred by the Buyer in connection with the fact that one is not able to use the Equipment.
  15. The Manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage to the Equipment caused during the performance of the transport service by the delivery company until it is collected by the Manufacturer from the delivery company.
  16. If the shipment of the Equipment was ordered by the Manufacturer, the Buyer is obliged to check the technical condition of the Equipment upon its receipt. If the Buyer finds that the Equipment has been damaged during the transport, the Buyer is obliged to:
    • immediately, not later than within 3 days from the date of receipt of the shipment, notify the Manufacturer of any damage to the Equipment that occurred during transport, in order to enable the Manufacturer to submit a complaint to the delivery company and pursue related claims,
    • provide the Producer with a complaint report drawn up between the Buyer and the delivery company.
  17. The guarantee regulations contained in this document are the sole and exclusive guarantee rules for HABYS limited liability products.
