HABYS 6L Stone Heater for Massage
Product Information
The product is an analog stone heater used for heating basalt stones for massage. The heater comes with a lid, a water tank, a heating lamp, a temperature controller, and a user manual. There are two models available: Model 6l and Model 17l. Proper use and maintenance of the product ensure full satisfaction of its use for many years.
Product Usage Instructions
- Unpack the heater and remove the water tank and all informational materials.
- Place the heater in a well-ventilated room on a heat-resistant surface. Ensure that you have received the 230V version of the heater (check the information on the bottom of the device).
- Ensure good ventilation in the room.
- Remove the lid and water tank.
- Smoking is normal during the first heating and will not occur after.
- Wash all stones before first use and before each treatment.
- Place a towel on the bottom of the water tank and place the stones on it.
- Add water to the tank so that it covers the stones but does not overflow.
- Before connecting the device to power, always add stones to the tank first, then add water.
- Check the stone temperature with your fingers and then hold it in your hand before placing it on the patient.
- Use a special glove or a spoon to remove stones from the heater to avoid burning yourself.
- Do not fill the device with boiling or steaming water to avoid burns.
- Clean the device after each use.
- Set the temperature controller to minimum before cleaning. Turn off the device and let it cool to room temperature.
- Remove the stones carefully and then pour out the water.
- Clean the tank and lid with a small amount of soap, rinse with clean water, and dry with a towel. Wipe the heater with a soft cloth. Never immerse the heater in water.
- Clean the stones with warm water and a gentle detergent. Rinse the stones with warm water and dry them.

CONSTRUCTION OF HEATERS
SAFETY RULES FOR USE OF HEATERS
- Do not pour water into the heater.
- Do not touch hot surfaces.
- Do not throw the cord, plug or heater into water or other liquids.
- Before disconnecting the device from the power supply, turn off the device.
- Do not use the device while bathing.
- Be careful when children are near the operating device.
- Disconnect the device from the power supply when not in use or when cleaning is done.
- Allow the device to cool down before removing any parts or cleaning them.
- It is not allowed to use the device with a damaged cord or plug.
- Modifications to the device may result in fire or electrocution.
- The device should be used indoors.
- The power cord should not hang over the table or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not put the device on gas burners, electric heaters or ovens.
- Be careful by moving the heater with hot water inside.
- The device may only be used for the applications described in this manual.
- The water tank of the heater may be filled up to maximum of 2.5 cm below the top edge.
- Always put stones in the tank first and then pour water.
- It is forbidden to scoop water using the device when it is connected to the power.
- Check the temperature of stone with your fingers and then hold the stone in your hand before placing it on the patient.
- To avoid burn, use a special glove or spoon to take out stones from the heater.
- To avoid burn, do not fill the device with boiling or steaming water.
FIRST START-UP OF HEATERS

Unpack the heater, take out the tank and all information materials. Place the device in a well-ventilated room, on a heat-resistant area.

Make sure that you have received the heater in the 230 V version (information on the bottom of the device).

When using the device for the first time, after it is warmed up, it is natural for the elements to smoke, because they are exposed to high temperature for the first time.
Therefore it is necessary to ensure good ventilation in the room. Please follow the steps below:- Place the device in a well-ventilated room on a heat-resistant area.
- Remove the cover and the water tank.
- Set the controller to the maximum temperature range (clockwise).
- Let the device smoke for about an hour or more.

Smoke is normal during the first heat-up and will not occur during next treatments.

When the smoke stops, disconnect the device from the power supply and let it cool down.
USE OF HEATERS
- Wash all stones before first use and after each treatment.
- Place a towel on the bottom of the tank and place the stones on it.
- Before connecting the device to the power supply, pour water into the tank so that the stones are covered, but not more than 2.5 cm below the top of the tank. Cover the tank with a lid.
- Connect the device to the power supply, turn the regulator fully (clockwise) to 20 up to 30 minutes to speed up heating. When the water heats up, turn the knob to hold requsted temperature.
- The control lamp is on when the heater is operating and will automatically turn off when the device reaches the required temperature or if the device is disconnected from the power supply.
- Carefully remove the first stone from the tank, check its temperature with your finger and then grasp it with your hand. The stone should be visibly warm, but cannot burn and be uncomfortable for the patient.
- After finishing the treatment, turn the regulator fully anti-clockwise to turn off the device.
- Never put stones directly into the heater as it may cause device damage.
- Be careful when putting in, taking out and moving the stones inside the heater.
- Do not apply stones on the flushed area of the body.
- Hot stones must never be placed on wounds, burns, abrasions, especially on the sensitive skin or damaged skin in any way.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING OF HEATERS
- Clean the device after each treatment.
- Before cleaning, set the temperature control to the minimum setting. Disconnect the device from the power supply.
- Allow device to cool down to room temperature.
- Remove the stones carefully and then pour out the water.
- Clean the tank and cover with water and a little soap, then rinse with clean water and dry towel.
- Wipe the heater with a soft cloth. Never immerse the heater in water.
- Clean the stones with warm water and a little soap or other mild detergent. Rinse stones with warm water and dry.
APPLICATION OF STONES
Basalt is the most common type of stone used in hot stone therapy. Free from pores, with a smooth surface, it has unique holding warm properties. The high amount of rust in basalt accelerates the treatment of vascular diseases blood vessels, has a relaxing effect on the muscular and mood improvement.
THE USE OF STONES
- Wash all stones before first use and after each treatment.
- The stones should be placed in the stone heater and than follow the manual instruction for heater.
- The temperature of the stones should be around 50 ° C.
- After each treatment, rinse the stones under running cold water, then wash them with warm water with soap and disinfect with an antibacterial preparation.
- After each day of using the stones, place them in a vessel with water with sea salt for about 20 minutes.
- Next, the stones should be dried, greased with natural oil, as olive oil, and then cleaned and kept in the container provided for this purpose.
- Always use stones that are slightly moist and well-greased (but not oil-dripping).
- Make sure the patient’s skin is well lubricated.
- Avoid hitting the stone against each other.
- Avoid using metal tools to remove stones from the heater tank.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS

For the purposes of the guarantee:
- “Manufacturer” refers to HABYS Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością (Limited Liability Company) with its registered seat in Jasło, ul. Produkcyjna 16, 38-200 Jasło, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs kept by the District Court in Rzeszów, XII Commercial Division of the National Court Register, with the assigned KRS number: 0000513317, with the share capital in the amount of PLN 10.750.000 (ten million seven hundred fifty thousand zlotys), the capital has been fully paid up, NIP: 6852208438, REGON: 180186290.
- “Buyer” refers to the final Buyer of the equipment, manufactured by the Manufacturer, including both the consumer and the entrepreneur.
- “Distributor” refers to an entity that, under an agreement with the Manufacturer, sells the Equipment in a designated area.
- “Authorized Service Centre” refers only to a service held by the Manufacturer or a service indicated by the Manufacturer and held by its Distributor,
- “Equipment” refers to a movable item, manufactured by the Manufacturer, being the subject of the sales and to which the said warranty applies.

The manufacturer ensures good quality and efficient operation of the equipment for which the warranty card has been issued for the period of: 2 years.

The guarantee repair does not include the activities provided for in the manual, which the Buyer is obliged to perform on his own (installation of the Equipment, maintenance of the Equipment, etc.).

Liability under the guarantee covers only defects resulting from causes inherent in the Equipment., In particular, the guarantee does not cover any damage resulting from improper or inconsistent use, storage, maintenance or transport of the Equipment, as well as colour differences between the parts exposed and not exposed to solar radiation, the influence of chemical or abrasive agents, atmospheric pollution or accidental punctures and abrasions, the presence of stains or rings from greasy or dying substances (fats, creams, lotions or oils), permanent staining with dyes such as inks, permanent markers or other non-permanent dyes used in the production of clothing (e.g. dyes used to make blue jeans).

The guarantee does not cover any mechanical damage to the Equipment.

The buyer loses the guarantee rights in the event of:
- the Manufacturer states that the Equipment was repaired by entity other than the Authorized Service,
- making any design modifications to the Equipment without the prior written consent of the Manufacturer,
- using the Equipment contrary to its intended use,
- using the Equipment after revealing any defect in it.

Regardless of the loss of the guarantee rights, described above, in point 6, the Manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage to property or caused to third parties, which may be caused by the use of the Equipment covered by the guarantee.

The guarantee does not exclude or limit the rights resulting from the warranty for defects. Exercising the rights under the guarantee does not affect the seller’s liability under the warranty for defects. If the Buyer exercises the rights under the guarantee, the time limit for the exercise of the rights under the warranty for defects is suspended on the date the Manufacturer is notified of the defect. The period runs further from the date of the Manufacturer’s refusal to perform the obligations arising from the guarantee or the ineffective expiry of the time for their performance.

The scope of the guarantee coverage is limited to the territory of the country in which the Equipment was sold.

The Manufacturer shall perform its obligations under the guarantee (removal of defects or damage to the structure of the Equipment arising from reasons inherent in the Equipment, and disclosed during the guarantee period) free of charge within 14 days from the date of delivery of the Equipment to the Manufacturer or the Authorized Service Centre. If the repair of the Equipment cannot be performed withinthe above-mentioned period, the Manufacturer shall inform the Buyer of the above, and also indicate the reasons for the delay and the expected date of fulfilment of the recognized guarantee request.

The use of the guarantee rights requires the total (cumulative) fulfilment of four conditions:
- presenting a VAT invoice, receipt or other proof of purchase of the equipment to the Manufacturer, photographic documentation of the defective Equipment, together with a brief description of the reasons for submitting a guarantee claim,
- reporting the defect within 14 (fourteen) days of its detection,
- delivering the Equipment in original packaging at the expense of the Manufacturer, to the address indicated above in the guarantee card or to the address of the Authorized Service Centre,
- designation of the place where the Manufacturer delivers the equipment after repairing it (limited to the country in which the Equipment was purchased).

The guarantee period is extended for the duration of the repair, starting from the date of delivery of the Equipment to the Manufacturer or to the Authorized Service Centre, to the date on which the Equipment was returned to the Buyer.

The responsibility of the Manufacturer or the Authorized Service Centre is to define the scope and the method of repairing the Equipment.

The guarantee is limited to the repair of the Equipment. The Manufacturer reserves the right to replace the Equipment with a non-defective one, if the repair exceeds the price of the Equipment indicated in the proof of purchase. Under the guarantee, the Buyer shall not be entitled to demand that the Equipment be
replaced with a new one. The guarantee, in particular, does not cover liability for losses or damages incurred by the Buyer in connection with the fact that one is not able to use the Equipment. -
The Manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage to the Equipment caused during the performance of the transport service by the delivery company until it is collected by the Manufacturer from the delivery company.

If the shipment of the Equipment was ordered by the Manufacturer, the Buyer is obliged to check the technical condition of the Equipment upon its receipt. If the Buyer finds that the Equipment has been damaged during the transport, the Buyer is obliged to:
- immediately, not later than within 3 days from the date of receipt of the shipment, notify the Manufacturer of any damage to the Equipment that occurred during transport, in order to enable the Manufacturer to submit a complaint to the delivery company and pursue related claims,
- provide the Producer with a complaint report drawn up between the Buyer and the delivery company.

The guarantee regulations contained in this document are the sole and exclusive guarantee rules for HABYS limited liability products.
