FAQ’s

Are Hatteker clippers waterproof?

The Hatteker beard trimmer is fully waterproof. You can rinse its core and remove its guard heads to clean those as well. It’s important to let everything fully air dry in a cool, dry place before storing it away between uses.

How long does a cordless clipper last?

Clippers with Ni-Mh or Ni-Cd batteries will run for about one hour. Newer trimmers, on the other hand, when fully charged, will run between 20 to 40 minutes. To maximize the life of your trimmer battery, about every two months, run the trimmer completely down and fully recharge overnight

Can we cut wet hair with a trimmer?

Dripping wet hair is pretty much impossible to cut properly with clippers, so don’t even try. A good towel dryer helps prevent the clipper blades from rusting and makes it much easier for you to achieve the style you want.

Do hair clippers overheat?

A common reason why your blades may be overheating could be caused by using blunt blades, which restrict the movement of the comb (the bigger blade) to the cutter (the smaller blade piece) causing more friction, and heat!

Can I overcharge my trimmer?

Unless your tool instructions specifically say to store the battery on the charger, be sure to remove it after charging is complete. Overcharging can damage a battery and shorten its life, and not all chargers shut off automatically.

Can I use a clipper while charging?

Waterproof trimmers and clippers can be safely used and cleaned with water. However, these devices will not work when they are plugged into an electric socket. They are designed this way to prevent any kind of accidents.

How do you clean a Hatteker trimmer?

The washable hair trimmer is easy to clean. Just rinse the blade under the running water or clean it with the cleaning brush which is included in the grooming kit, after using it. BE CAUTION: Do not immerse the whole trimmer body in the running water.

Where is Hatteker from?

The Hatteker trimmer is manufactured in China, which isn’t a good sign. There are also some negative reviews showing that in a couple of buyers, the thing wouldn’t even turn on when they first bought it.

How much electricity does a clipper use?

During this warm-up period, it will require almost 60 watts to operate the Model 10, as it gradually drops to 50 watts, then settles into just under 40 watts (its specification) once it loosens up.

How many times can you use a clipper?

Normally if the coat is clean, a set of blades should manage up to about five clips, but generally speaking two to three is average. If this is the case, it is best to send them away for re-sharpening. It is money well spent to use sharp blades. One of the many problems that blunt blades cause is clipper-shy horses.

How long do trimmer blades last?

It’s recommended by most brands that foil and blades should be changed every 12-18 months to continue the performance of your electric shaver. Some men might have coarser, thicker hair and if they’re shaving daily, they may need to change their foils and blades earlier than the recommended time

What is the difference between a clipper and a trimmer?

A clipper is intended for bulk hair cutting on larger areas but does not cut extremely close to the skin. On the other hand, a trimmer is designed for edging, outlining, dry shaving, and light shaping on smaller areas such as the back of the neck, around the ears, around sideburns, etc.
