GENERAL SAFETY CONDITIONS

1. The device is intended for use by people in good health, not recommended for people who have heart problems, vascular problems, skin problems, cancer or vascular disease, or have a condition requiring the use of any medical device or have any condition that It can affect their normal well-being.
2. If you are, or may be, pregnant, consult with your physician before use.
3. Do not use this system over insensitive or numb areas, or in the presence of poor circulation. Do not use  if you have been diagnosed with blood clots, deep vein thrombosis, or phlebitis. This system should not be used over swollen or inflamed areas or skin eruptions. Do not use in the presence of unexplained calf pain.
4. Consult your physician prior to use.
5. Do not use the device in the presence of flammable gases, including flammable anesthetics.
6. Do not allow liquid to enter any part of the device. Do not immerse in any liquids.
7. To prevent electric shock, do not open the control unit. Do not attempt to service the control unit yourself. All maintenance tasks should be performed only by device trained and authorized service personnel. Service by unauthorized personnel shall void any warranty.
8. Stop device in case of any change of the device system performance.
9. Use the control unit only with Thor’s Hammer RRS boots and accessories.
10. Do not modify any part of the device system.
11. The equipment should not be used adjacent to or stacked with any other electronic or battery-operated equipment.
12. The device includes small parts. Keep away from children and pets.
    Note: This device was tested for compliance with safety performance standards that apply to electricmedical devices.

INTENDED USE OF THE PRODUCT

1. Please read the instructions before operation.
2. Do not operate the control unit without connecting the boots.
3. Do not operate the device during transit.
4. Do not store or transport the device beyond the specified temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure ranges.
5. Do not use the device system beyond the specified temperature range: 10–30°C (50–86°F).
6. Do not use the device beyond the specified humidity range: 30–85%rH, non-condensing.
7. Do not use the device above 3000m above mean sea level.
8. To prevent any damage to the device, keep it away from dust, lint, and dirt. Keep away from sources of heat or moisture.
9. Do not inflate the boot without wearing it over the intended body area. Do not inflate the boot “on empty”. Doing so can damage the boot.
10. To prevent any damage to equipment, use only accessories, detachable parts, and materials from Thor’s Hammer RRS as described in this Instruction Manual.
11. While in use, place the control unit on horizontal firm surface only. Do not place the control unit on bed, blanket, mattress, pillow, or soft furniture. Do not cover the control unit.
12. Use only accessories approved by Thor’s Hammer RRS. Other accessories may damage the system or interfere with system function.
13. Portable and mobile RF communication equipment may affect the equipment.
14. In case of abnormal reaction during use, turn off the control unit power switch immediately and unplug the charger.

BATTERY, CHARGING

1. The lithium-ion battery is an integrated part of the control unit. If it is damaged, the device and battery must not be discarded as household trash. The device and battery must be disposed of as hazardous waste in accordance with all municipal requirements.
2. Do not incinerate a discarded battery. It can explode in a fire.
3. Charge the battery only with the charger supplied with this device.
4. Do not use an extension cord. Plug the charger cord directly into an electrical outlet.
5. Do not use the charger in wet or damp conditions. Do not use the charger near sinks or bathtubs or immerse in water.
6. Intended for indoor use only.
7. Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
8. The charger should be placed away from sinks and hot surfaces.
9. Do not use charger to charge any batteries other than this device. Other batteries may explode.
10. Do not operate charger if cord or plug is damaged.
11. Replace damaged cord and plug immediately.
12. Do not operate charger if it has received a sharp impact, been dropped or otherwise damaged in any way.
13. Do not disassemble the charger.
14. For best results, charge the battery when the temperature range of the battery and the work area is 0–40° C (32–104° F).
15. Unplug the charger when not in use and before cleaning or maintenance.
16. Do not abuse the cord. To reduce the risk of damage to the cord or plug, never carry the charger by the cord or yank the cord to unplug. Always grasp the plug and pull to disconnect. Always keep the cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges.

Note: Each compression mode cycles through the 8 chambers in a different sequence with different timing.

UNPACKING AND FIRST STEPS

1. Box content:
   a) Control Unit
   b) 2 Boots with Attached Hoses and Attached Boot Hose Connectors
   c) Main Hose Connector
   d) Charger Adapter
   e) Instruction Manual
   f) Carrying Case

2. Unpacking.
   Remove all components from the shipping box and remove all packaging from the unit and accessories.
   Read carefully through this instruction manual and all safety instructions before using.

3. Before operation – the control unit is locked when the product leaves the factory to prevent the device from being accidentally triggered by objects during transportation. How to unlock the Control Unit:
   a) Plug the charging cord into an outlet and connect to control unit. This will unlock the control unit.
   b) If you want to lock the control unit again, press and hold the power on/off button for 10 seconds, the buzzer will sound for 2 times, and the main controller is locked.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1: Please read this manual.

• Read the description of the control unit and controls (Figure 1) before using.
  STEP 2: Set up the Control Unit.

• Place the Control Unit on a flat, stable surface from where it will not slip or fall.

• Make sure the front of the Control Unit is at least six inches from the edge of the surface.

• Position the Control Unit so that you can easily reach the screen during use.
  STEP 3: Connect the Main Hose Connector to the Right and Left Boots.

• Snap each boot’s hose connector into Main Hose Connector.

• Push firmly, but not too hard. The connectors will click in.
  STEP 4: Connect the Main Hose Connector to the Control Unit.

• Snap the Main Hose Connector into the Hose Connector Port in the Control Panel.

• Push firmly, but not too hard. The connector will click in.
  STEP 5: Preparation for Use.

• Do not wear the boots directly over bare skin.

• Always wear light clothing (e.g., sweatpants, leggings) underneath the boots for hygienic reasons, to avoid irritation, and to absorb perspiration.

• Clothing should be unrestrictive and absorbent, and free of zippers, buttons or other items that could rub and chafe under the compression.

• Remove any jewelry, wristwatches, etc. that would be covered by the boot.
  STEP 6: How to Put On and Take Off the Boots.

• Sit down in a comfortable position with legs straight or slightly bent at the knees.

• Insert your foot into the boot. Pull the top of the boot towards your torso, extending the boot to its maximum length.

• Close the zipper all the way up and leave closed until done with use.

• Repeat for other leg.

• Zip the boots closed at least part of the way up before inserting your leg. Make sure your entire lower extremity (thigh, leg, foot) is in the boot before inflation. If the boot is too tight, you need a larger size.

• Do not inflate the boots with the zippers open. Doing so can damage the boots.

• Do not inflate the boots without wearing each boot over the intended body area. Doing so can damage the boots.

• Use of excessive force and/or misuse shall void the manufacturer’s warranty.

• Do not stand or walk while wearing the boots!

• Allow the boots to deflate before removing each boot and remove while still seated.

• You should be able to slip the boot off and pull it on again for each use without completely unzipping the boot.

• Squeeze the remainder of the air out of each boot by gentle pressing on the boots before the next use.
  STEP 7: How to Turn On and Turn Off the Control Unit.

• Make sure your control unit has been unlocked.

• To turn on, press once the power on/off button (2) on the controller, the OLED screen will become bright and display Hello greeting in many different languages, the buzzer will sound once.

• To turn off, press and hold the “power on/off button” for 2S, the screen will be turned off, and the buzzer will sound once.

STEP 8: Settings.

• Gently press the PRESSURE button once. Pressure image will illuminate and start at 50 mmHg.
  Press again to increase pressure to 100 mmHg. Continue to press to increase to 150 mmHg,  200 mmHg, 250 mmHg.
  NOTE: We STRONGLY recommend you do not use over 100 mmHg the first time you use the boots.
  Once you set the pressure, press the time button and set the time the same way. Time starts at 10 minutes and increases in 10-minute increments to 50 minutes. NOTE: We STRONGLY recommend you do not use the boots more than 20 minutes the first time you use the boots.
  After time preset, if no further operation within 1S, the Time Preset Button (7) light will be off, and the preset time value will be displayed underneath the button. Meanwhile, the green light of “Start/pause button” (3) will start flashing. Press the “Start/pause button” (3) , and the main controller will start to work. Then, the preset pressure will be displayed, and the time also start countdown, there is only one default massage mode: when the first chamber of the boot is inflated to a predetermined pressure, the second chamber begins to inflate, and then the third and forth will be fully inflated one after the other, once all the chambers are fully inflated to the preset pressure, they start to deflate together.

Pause the Control Unit.

• Press the START/PAUSE button. The Control Unit will pause. Press the button again and the Control
  Unit will restart. For safety reasons, it will slightly deflate the boot and refill and continue the Mode you selected.

• When the pause time exceeds 1 minute and there is no further operation, the machine will shut down automatically and the buzzer will sound 5 times.

Completion of the Session.

• Once the time has expired the Control Unit will turn off and the boots will begin to deflate.
• Allow the boots to deflate before you undo the zipper.

 ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Battery indicator.
   There are 4 bars in the battery indicator icon. A full green screen indicates a full charge.
   As the battery loses power, it changes from full green, to 3 bars green (75% power), to 2 bars green (50% power), to one bar (25% power).
   When there is only 1 grid left, the power indicator will become red and the buzzer will sound once, indicating that battery is low and it needs to be charged. When battery is drained, the control unit will shut down automatically and the buzzer will sound once, then, the battery completely loses power. During charging: the 4 bars will illuminate one by one until the all-green full charge.

2. Charging the control unit.
   Fully charge the battery before using it for the first time. It can take up to 5 hours to fully charge.
   Plug the Charger Adapter into an electrical outset, the buzzer will sound once.
   The device can keep working while it’s in charging process. In this situation, the battery charging indicator on the screen will illuminate one by one until the all-green full charge.
   After the first charge, the control unit will take 2 – 4 hours to fully charge.

3. Use the main controller during charging
   The main controller can be used while it’s charging, however pls be kindly noted: Don’t use the main controller when it is in extremely low battery, in this case, the controller can’t be turned on while it’s charging.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Please turn off the control unit power button and unplug the power plug before cleaning. Use a wet cloth (water only) to wipe the surface of the control unit. Do not use gasoline, alcohol, benzene, etc. to wipe the pump. The air boot can be wiped with an alcohol wipe. After cleaning, let the control panel and boots dry and store them in the case provided.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

1. For the purposes of the guarantee:
   a) “Manufacturer” refers to HABYS Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością (Limited Liability Company) with its registered seat in Jasło, ul. Produkcyjna 16, 38-200 Jasło, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs kept by the District Court in Rzeszów, XII Commercial Division of the National Court Register, with the assigned KRS number: 0000513317, with the share capital in the amount of PLN 10.750.000 (ten million seven hundred fifty thousand zlotys), the capital has been fully paid up, NIP: 6852208438, REGON:

2. b) “Buyer” refers to the final Buyer of the equipment, manufactured by the Manufacturer, including both the consumer and the entrepreneur.
   c) “Distributor” refers to an entity that, under an agreement with the Manufacturer, sells the Equipment in a designated area.
   d) “Authorized Service Centre” refers only to a service held by the Manufacturer or a service indicated by the Manufacturer and held by its Distributor,
   e) “Equipment” refers to a movable item, manufactured by the Manufacturer, being the subject of the sales and to which the said warranty applies.

3. The manufacturer ensures good quality and efficient operation of the equipment for which the warranty card has been issued, for the period of: 2 years for constructional elements, 2 years for upholstered elements.

4. The guarantee repair does not include the activities provided for in the manual, which the Buyer is obliged to perform on his own (installation of the Equipment, maintenance of the Equipment, etc.).

5. Liability under the guarantee covers only defects resulting from causes inherent in the Equipment., In particular, the guarantee does not cover any damage resulting from improper or inconsistent use, storage, maintenance or transport of the Equipment, as well as colour differences between the parts exposed and not exposed to solar radiation, the influence of chemical or abrasive agents, atmospheric pollution or accidental punctures and abrasions, the presence of stains or rings from greasy or dying
   substances (fats, creams, lotions or oils), permanent staining with dyes such as inks, permanent markers or other non-permanent dyes used in the production of clothing (e.g. dyes used to make blue jeans).

6. The guarantee does not cover any mechanical damage to the Equipment.

7. The buyer loses the guarantee rights in the event of:
   a) the Manufacturer states that the Equipment was repaired by entity other than the Authorized Service,
   b) making any design modifications to the Equipment without the prior written consent of the Manufacturer,
   c) using the Equipment contrary to its intended use,
   d) using the Equipment after revealing any defect in it.

8. Regardless of the loss of the guarantee rights, described above, in point 6, the Manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage to property or caused to third parties, which may be caused by the use of the
   Equipment covered by the guarantee.

9. The guarantee does not exclude or limit the rights resulting from the warranty for defects. Exercising the rights under the guarantee does not affect the seller’s liability under the warranty for defects. If the Buyer exercises the rights under the guarantee, the time limit for the exercise of the rights under the warranty for defects is suspended on the date the Manufacturer is notified of the defect. The period runs further from the date of the Manufacturer’s refusal to perform the obligations arising from the guarantee or the ineffective expiry of the time for their performance.

10. The scope of the guarantee coverage is limited to the territory of the country in which the Equipment was sold.

11. The Manufacturer shall perform its obligations under the guarantee (removal of defects or damage to the structure of the Equipment arising from reasons inherent in the Equipment, and disclosed during the guarantee period) free of charge within 14 days from the date of delivery of the Equipment to the
    Manufacturer or the Authorized Service Centre. If the repair of the Equipment cannot be performed within the above-mentioned period, the Manufacturer shall inform the Buyer of the above, and also indicate the reasons for the delay and the expected date of fulfilment of the recognized guarantee request.

12. The use of the guarantee rights requires the total (cumulative) fulfilment of four conditions:
    a) presenting a VAT invoice, receipt or other proof of purchase of the equipment to the Manufacturer, photographic documentation of the defective Equipment, together with a brief description of the reasons for submitting a guarantee claim,
    b) reporting the defect within 14 (fourteen) days of its detection,
    c) delivering the Equipment in original packaging at the expense of the Manufacturer, to the address indicated above in the guarantee card or to the address of the Authorized Service Centre,
    d) designation of the place where the Manufacturer delivers the equipment after repairing it (limited to the country in which the Equipment was purchased).

13. The guarantee period is extended for the duration of the repair, starting from the date of delivery of the Equipment to the Manufacturer or to the Authorized Service Centre, to the date on which the Equipment was returned to the Buyer.

14. The responsibility of the Manufacturer or the Authorized Service Centre is to define the scope and the method of repairing the Equipment.

15. The guarantee is limited to the repair of the Equipment. The Manufacturer reserves the right to replace the Equipment with a non-defective one, if the repair exceeds the price of the Equipment indicated in the proof of purchase. Under the guarantee, the Buyer shall not be entitled to demand that the Equipment be replaced with a new one. The guarantee, in particular, does not cover liability for losses or damages incurred by the Buyer in connection with the fact that one is not able to use the Equipment.

16. The Manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage to the Equipment caused during the performance of the transport service by the delivery company until it is collected by the Manufacturer from the delivery company.

17. If the shipment of the Equipment was ordered by the Manufacturer, the Buyer is obliged to check the technical condition of the Equipment upon its receipt. If the Buyer finds that the Equipment has been damaged during the transport, the Buyer is obliged to:
    a) immediately, not later than within 3 days from the date of receipt of the shipment, notify the Manufacturer of any damage to the Equipment that occurred during transport, in order to enable the Manufacturer to submit a complaint to the delivery company and pursue related claims,
    b) provide the Producer with a complaint report drawn up between the Buyer and the delivery company.

18. The guarantee regulations contained in this document are the sole and exclusive guarantee rules for HABYS limited liability products.
