Product Information

The Thermal Barcode Printer is a commercial POS barcode printer that is proficient in printing barcode labels. The printer comes with a Windows/Mac driver, quick start guide, video tutorial, Windows diagnostic tool, power adapter, USB cable, paper roll, fix tab, and a user manual. The printer has an LED indicator, feed button, transparent window, paper exit, printer cover, front panel, cover hook, power switch, power jack, and a USB interface. The printer can load paper rolls with 1-inch or 1.5-inch cores, and has black center-biased label guides that can be adjusted according to the label size.

Product Usage Instructions

Before installation, ensure that the printer is connected and turned on.
To load the label, open the printer top cover by pushing forward the top cover open levers. Insert a 1 label spindle into a paper roll. If your paper core is 1-inch, remove the 1.5 core adapter from the fixed tab and use the label spindle directly. Orient a roll of paper on the paper roll mount. Feed the paper, printing side face up, through the label guide and pass over the platen. Adjust the black center-biased label guides in or out turning adjustment knob so they are slightly touching the edges of the label backing.
To install the printer driver, run the downloaded software and follow the hints to complete the installation. For Mac users, use the Safari browser for printing. For Windows users, use the Firefox or Google Chrome browser for printing.
When changing the label size, recalibrate the label and set the label size in the driver settings.
To print a self-test page, use the button function to initiate the print command.
The LED status indicates the printer’s current status. Refer to the user manual for a detailed explanation of the LED status.

Loading The Label

Open the printer top cover by pushing forward the top cover open levers.
Insert a 1″ label spindle into a paper roll(* If your paper core is 1″inch, remove the 1.5″ core adapter from the ﬁxed tab,use the label spindle derectly).
Orient a roll of paper on the paper roll mount.
Feed the paper, printing side face up, through the label guide and pass over the platen.

Printer Installation

Before installation,please ensure the printer is connected and turned on.
Attach to the power cord to the adapter
Plug the adapter cable into the circular DC adapter connector of the printer
Plug the USB cable into the USB port of the printer
Plug the USB cable into the USB port of the laptop
Plug the power cord into the socket and the printer is turned on.(I:ON,O:OFF)
When connected,the printer displays blue and is in standby mode

Note: Please switch OFF printer power switch prior to plug in the power cord to printer power jack.

Click on the “pkg” installer to begin.
lf the driver can not be opened, please give permission to it ﬁrst. Click”OK” and follow the steps below to allow the macOS system to process the installation.
Click “ ” and go to “System Preferences”.
Select “Security & Privacy”.

Button Function

Do the calibration of gap or black mark label

Install the label and close the cover tightly.
Turn on the printer
Press the FEED button and hold on for 2-3 seconds
Release the FEED button when printer beep once and led blink red.
Printer calibrate the label height and gap or black mark height

Print Selftest Page

Install the label and close the cover tightly.
Turn on the printer
Press the FEED button and hold on for 5-6 seconds
Release the FEED button when printer beep twice and led blink purple.
Printer print the selftest page

Note:

Please calibrate the gap/black mark sensor when changing media.
Failure to securely close and lock the cover will result in poor print quality.
When you change the label size, please re-celabrate the label and set the label size in the driver settings.

Troubleshooting

Printer cannot be powered on.
- Check the power connector, and make sure that the AC socket and the power supply plug are properly connected to the printer After connection, turn on the power switch.
Printer blinks red
For Window System：
Use Windows diagnostic tool to get the status of printer ﬁrstly.
If tool shows ‘Head open’, close the cover of printer.
If tool shows ‘Paper end’, install new label paper; refer to the steps of label installation and reinstall it; calibrate the label.
If tool shows ‘Paper jam’, calibrate the volume label sensor; set the correct label size; clean the inside of the mechanism.
For Mac System:
Reboot and press the feed button to calibrate the label and print a self-test page. If it is normal, please check the pdf printing size or the driver size whether is correct.
Poor printing quality
Clean the print head and rubber roller
Adjust the printing density
Print out the self-test page to check if the print head is damaged.
Make sure that the print head holder is fully closed
Paper skip occurs while printing
Make sure that the label size setting is correct
Recalibrate the label sensor
Remove dust from the sensor with an air brush
Printer is in DUMP mode and prints hex data like ‘57 65 6C 63 6F 6D 65’
Turn oﬀ the printer and turn on the printer again.
