Usage Instructions:

  1. Always read and follow all safety precautions in the manual for your trimmer.
  2. Make sure the AutoCut 25-2 is compatible with your STIHL trimmer before use.
  3. Ensure that the trimmer has a properly configured and mounted deflector to reduce the risk of injury to the operator from objects thrown or ricocheted in all directions. Keep bystanders at least 15 m (50 ft.) away.
  4. To reduce the risk of eye injury, always wear goggles or close-fitting protective glasses with adequate side protection that are impact-rated and marked as complying with ANSI Z87.1 (US), EN 166 (Europe), or your national standard.
  5. To reduce the risk of hearing damage, wear sound barriers (ear plugs or ear muffs).
  6. Check the condition of the trimmer and mowing head before starting work and at regular short intervals thereafter to reduce the risk of injury from broken parts.
  7. If using a mowing head with a metal core, do not use it around dry vegetation or brush when there is a risk of fire or wildfire. High-speed contact with rock or other hard objects may create sparks, which can ignite flammable materials under certain circumstances.
  8. Keep mowing lines in a water bath between 12 hours and 24 hours before use to increase their useful life.

Note: Save these instructions and refer to them whenever using the AutoCut 25-2. Only use original STIHL replacement parts and accessories.
