Product Information

The KICKR STEER Accessory is a product designed to enhance the indoor cycling experience. It comes with an ELEMNT-style mount, a steering accessory, a Garmin-style puck, a left steering paddle, and a right steering paddle. The accessory is capable of holding mobile devices that weigh up to 3.3 lbs / 1.5kg and is designed for mobile devices with a maximum size of 3.6 x 6.7 / 9cm x 17cm. The KICKR STEER accessory must be used as intended and mounted both correctly and securely to avoid injury and/or product damage.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Install the ELEMNT-style mount on your bars:
  2. Remove any existing device mounts. The supplied aluminum ELEMNT-style mount is required for strength.
  3. Center the mount in line with the center of the stem and tighten the bolt.
  4. If using a Garmin mount, replace the puck by removing the fallen bolts holding the ELEMNT-style puck and then installing the Garmin-style puck.
  5. Install the steering paddles:
  6. Locate the left (L) and right (R) paddles. There are L and R indicators on the paddles to help you identify the correct side for mounting.
  7. Slide the left paddle onto the left side (facing accessory) all the way in.
  8. Repeat with the right paddle.
  9. Tighten bolts.
  10. Install the steering accessory onto the ELEMNT-style mount:
  11. Locate the mounting bracket slot on the accessory and slide the accessory on from the front of the bike.
  12. You will feel and/or hear a click! when the accessory is correctly locked in.
  13. Adjust the steering paddles:
  14. With the accessory mounted, loosen the mounting bolt to position the paddles where you feel most comfortable. Make note of the markers on the silver area to help with matching the left and right paddle positions.
  15. Tighten the mounting bolt.

The KICKR STEER Accessory must be used as intended and mounted both correctly and securely. Failure to follow these instructions may risk injury and/or product damage.

ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the ELEMNT-style mount on your bars

    • Remove any existing device mounts. The supplied aluminum ELEMNT-style mount is required for strength.
    • Center the mount in line with the center of the stem and tighten the bolt.
      Note: If using a Garmin mount you will need to replace the puck by removing the Allen bolts holding the ELEMNT-style puck and then installing the Garmin-style puck.
  2. Install the steering paddles

    • Locate the left (L) and right (R) paddles. There are L and R indicators on the paddles to help you identify the correct side for mounting.
    • Slide the left paddle onto the left side (facing accessory) all the way in.
    • Repeat with a right paddle.
    • Tighten bolts.
  3. Install the steering accessory onto the ELEMNT-style mount

    • Locate the mounting bracket slot on the accessory and slide the accessory on from the front of the bike.
    • You will feel and/or hear a “click!” when the accessory is correctly locked in.
  4. Adjust the steering paddles

    • With the accessory mounted, loosen the mounting bolt to position the paddles where you feel most comfortable. Make note of the markers on the silver area to help with matching the left and right paddle positions.
    • Tighten the mount bolt and you are done!
  • The KICKR STEER accessory is capable of holding mobile devices that weigh up to 3.3 lbs/1.5kg. Excess weight may cause it to detach, risking injury and/or product damage.
  • The KICKR STEER accessory is designed for mobile devices with a maximum size of 3.6” x 6.7”/9cm x 17cm. Using a device bigger than these dimensions may result in property damage.
  • KICKR STEER must be used as intended and mounted both correctly and securely. Failure to follow these instructions may risk injury and/or product damage.
