Product Information
The IZZY Egg Boiler is an electric appliance designed to boil up to 8 eggs at a time. It comes with a water tank, egg tray, omelette/poached egg tray, lid, measure cup, egg piercing lid, power switch with indication light, and power cord with socket. The appliance has safety interlocks to ensure safe usage. It operates at a voltage of 220-240V and frequency of 50/60Hz. The maximum input power is 600W.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before using the appliance, read the instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
- Fill the water tank (2) with water according to the desired boiling degree and suggested time mentioned in the table below:

- Place the egg tray (3) or omelette/poached egg tray (4) on top of the base (1).
- Gently pierce the eggs’ large end with the egg piercing lid (7).
- Place the eggs in the egg tray or omelette/poached egg tray.
- Place the lid (5) on top of the egg tray or omelette/poached egg tray.
- Turn the power switch (8) to ON. The indication light will turn on.
- Once the boiling is complete, turn the power switch to OFF.
- Remove the egg tray or omelette/poached egg tray from the base and let it cool.
- Empty the water from the water tank after each use.
- If the water in the water tank runs out before boiling is complete, a continuous beep will sound. Turn the power switch to OFF position, fill the water tank with water, and turn the power switch to the desired time to complete the boiling of the eggs.
- To make poached eggs, remove the lid (5) and remove the eggs using a spatula (12).
- After use, clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water or use abrasive cleaners.

Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the one shown on the underside of the appliance.

Always plug your device into an outlet that is earthed. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in electric shock and possible serious injury.

Never leave the appliance unattended when it is operating.

Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children or infirm persons. Ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, children or those with lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Switch off and unplug:
- After each use.
- Before cleaning.
- Never use the appliance for any other use than indicated.
- The device is intended for indoor use. Do not use the device outdoors.
- The device is intended only for domestic use. Any other use will cancel the warranty.
- Always use the egg boiler on a secure, dry, clean and heat resistant surface.
- Do not operate or place the device or parts in places of high humidity or where it may get wet.
- Never let the power unit, cord or plug get wet.
- If the appliance does get wet, immediately remove the power cord from the wall outlet, and do not put your hands in the water.
- Never run the wet appliance and contact one of the authorized BENRUBI service centers.
- Misuse of your egg boiler can result in injury.
- To avoid burns, do not touch the metal parts, the base or the housing when in operation.
- Do not let the power cord of the appliance hang over the edge of a table or bench top or where a child could grab it. Do not let the power cord to touch any hot surface.
- Never leave the power cable wrapped during use. Unwind it completely.
- Never use highly corrosive or abstractive cleaning agents. Never use metal scouring pads for cleaning.
- Never overfill – boiling water may splash out.
- Avoid contact with steam coming out of the spout area when pouring and out of the lid or spout area when refilling.
- Only use the powerbase supplied and keep it clean and dry.
- Make sure the lid is secure before switching the egg boiler on.
- Warning: Do not open the lid while the water is boiling
- Take care when opening the lid – droplets of hot water may be ejected.
- Make sure the egg boiler is switched off before tilting the egg boiler or before serving. Always use the handle when serving.
- Remove the egg boiler from the base before filling or pouring
- Never put the egg boiler near or on cooker hot plates or gas burners.
- Do not move the appliance when it is in operation.
- Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
- Do not use an extension power cord.
- This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Check the power cord periodically for possible damages. If the power cord or the plug of the appliance has been damaged, do not use the appliance and contact an authorized BENRUBI Service Center.
- In case of a possible damage, do not attempt to repair the appliance by yourself. Please contact one of the authorized BENRUBI service centers.
- Any repair made by an unauthorized BENRUBI Service Center CANCELS THE GUARANTEE.
- Any misuse of the device cancels the warranty.
- Use only original spare parts.
- The appliance conforms to EU directive 2014/30/EU on Electromagnetic Compatibility, the 2014/35/EU Low Voltage Directive, the 2011/65/EU RoHS Directive, the directive 2009/125/EC for eco-design and the EC regulation no. 1935/2004 on materials intended to contact with food.

Before the First Use
Wash the parts of the appliance. See “Care and Cleaning” section.
Using Your Appliance
- Before use, make sure that the power switch (8) is in the “OFF” position.
- Before use, make sure that there is water in the water tank. Do not use the appliance if there is no water in the water tank.
- Insert the required amount of water into the water tank (2) using the measuring cup (6). Refer to the “Suggested Cooking Time” section.
- Place the egg tray (3).
- Pierce the large surface of the eggs with the needle (7) at the bottom of the measuring cup.
- Place the eggs on the tray (3) with the large surface of the egg facing up.
- Place the cover (5).
- Plug in the appliance. A beep will sound and the indicator light will flash.
- Turn the power switch (8) to the desired time. Refer to the ” Suggested Cooking Time ” section. The indicator light will be stabilizes and stay on.
- When the boiling cycle is complete, a continuous beep will sound and the indicator light will flash.
- Turn the power switch (8) to the “OFF” position.
- Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
- Lift the lid (5) and carefully remove the eggs.
- Empty the water after each use.
Note:
If the water in the water tank runs out before boiling is complete, a continuous beep will sound. Turn the power switch to the “OFF” position, place water in the water tank and turn the power switch to the desired time to complete the boiling of the eggs.
Poached Eggs
- Before use, make sure that the power switch (8) is in the “OFF” position.
- Before use, make sure that there is water in the water tank. Do not use the appliance if there is no water in the water tank.

Insert the required amount of water into the water tank (2) using the measuring cup (6). Refer to the “Suggested Cooking Time” section.

Place the egg tray (3).

Spread with a little oil or butter the cases.

Break the eggs and place one in each tray.
-
Place the omelette/poached egg tray on the top of the egg tray (3).
-
Place the cover (5).
-
Plug in the appliance. A beep will sound and the indicator light will flash.

Turn the power switch (8) to the desired time, depending on your preference. The indicator light will be stabilized and stay on.
Note: The recommended time for poached eggs is about 10 minutes. You can adjust the time according to your preferences. -
When the cooking cycle is complete, a continuous beep will sound and the indicator light will flash.

Turn the power switch (8) to the “OFF” position.

Unplug the power cord.

Lift the lid (5) and remove the eggs using a spatula.

Empty the water after each use.
Omelette
- Before use, make sure that the power switch (8) is in the “OFF” position.
- Before use, make sure that there is water in the water tank. Do not use the appliance if there is no water in the water tank.

Place the egg tray (3).

Break the eggs and mix them in a bowl.

Distribute the mixture in the trays.

Place the omelette/poached egg tray on the top of the egg tray (3).

Place the cover (5).

Plug in the appliance. A beep will sound and the indicator light will flash.

Turn the power switch (8) to the desired time, depending on your preference. The indicator light will be stabilized and stay on.
Note: The recommended time for omelette is about 10 minutes. You can adjust the time according to your preference. -
When the cooking cycle is complete, a continuous beep will sound and the indicator light will flash.

Turn the power switch (8) to the “OFF” position.

Unplug the power cord.

Lift the lid (5) and remove the omelette using a spatula.

Care and Cleaning
- Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and let it cool down.
Body and power base:
- Wipe with a damp cloth, then dry.
- Never use highly corrosive or abstractive cleaning agents.
- Never use metal scouring pads for cleaning.
Egg tray, lid and measuring cup:
- Wash with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Never use highly corrosive or abstractive cleaning agents.

- Do not wash in a dishwasher.

- BENRUBI Company guarantees its products for any manufacturing defect or defective materials for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase or delivery by presenting purchase receipt. If your product malfunctions or you find any defects, please revert to the retail location you have purchased it from or contact an authorized BENRUBI Service Centre. To find the nearest authorized BENRUBI Service Centre, visit our website www.benrubi.gr. It is in the discretion of BENRUBI Company to replace or repair the defective product.
- The warranty does not cover damages resulting from normal wear, breakage, scaling, improper installation or maintenance of the product, mishandling, abnormal working conditions, failure to implement the instructions, conversion or repair of the product by an unauthorized technician who does not belong to the BENRUBI Service Centers.
Also, the warranty does not cover the following indicative factors:
- Stains, discoloration or scratches.
- Burns due to exposure to heat or flame.
- Damage from thermal shock (sudden temperature change or change of voltage).
