Product Information
The 48T10 is a bicycle cassette designed for professional bicycle mechanics. It is compatible with XD/XDR freehubs and has a total range of 480%. The cogs are available in sizes ranging from 10 to 48 teeth. The cassette weighs 315g and is compatible with 12s chains only. The recommended chains for use with this cassette are SRAM XX1 EAGLE, SRAM X01 EAGLE, and SRAM FLAT TOP. The use of chains not included in this list may cause premature deterioration of the cogs and may not guarantee proper functioning.
Product Usage Instructions
- If you are not a professional bicycle mechanic, do not attempt to install the components.
- Read all instruction manuals included with the product.
- If any part of the information on the manual is unclear to you, do not proceed with the installation. Instead, contact your dealer or a local bicycle shop for their assistance.
- To install the cassette, use a cassette lockring tool such as the ING-T-CA for XD/XDR freehubs and a Shimano lockring tool for Shimano freehubs. Tighten the lockring to a torque of 40 Nm for XD/XDR freehubs and 30 Nm for Shimano freehubs.
- For XD/XDR freehubs, align the wide tooth to the marked groove and apply medium strength threadlocker to the lockring and freehub thread.
- If you are using an XDR freehub, use a 1.85 mm spacer.
- To adjust the rear derailleur and chain length, refer to the manufacturer’s manuals.
- Periodically check the tightness of all fasteners. Incorrect tightening may cause malfunctioning or breakage.
- Periodically clean and lubricate the cassettes to extend the life of the sprockets.
- Periodically check the chain for wear. A worn chain can cause malfunctioning and increased deterioration of the cogs.
