The VIZIO Sound Bar is a high-performance audio system that delivers clear and powerful sound. It can be connected to a TV or other audio devices via digital optical, coaxial, stereo RCA, AUX, or Bluetooth.
Quick Setup Steps
Option 1: Connect your sound bar to a TV.
- Choose one cable from Stereo RCA to 3.5mm Audio Cable, Digital Optical Cable, Coaxial Audio Cable, RCA Audio OUT, AUX Audio OUT, Digital Optical OUT, or Digital Coaxial OUT.
- Connect the chosen cable to your TV.
- Connect the power cable to the sound bar and plug it into an electrical outlet.
- Note: If you use either the Digital Optical or Coaxial Audio inputs and do not hear audio from the sound bar, adjust your TV’s audio setting to PCM. Consult your TV’s user manual for more information.
- The sound bar will automatically begin searching for an audio input. You can press the INPUT button (on the bar or the remote) to switch between audio sources.
Option 2: Connect to your sound bar with Bluetooth.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the sound bar for 5 seconds or select the Bluetooth button on the remote.
- Search for your sound bar using your Bluetooth device.
- Once connected, you can play audio and control the volume using your Bluetooth device.

Connect your sound bar to a TV

Connect the power cable and plug into an electrical outlet.
Note: When using either the Digital Optical or Coaxial Audio inputs, if you do not hear audio from the sound bar, adjust your TV’s audio setting to PCM. Consult your TV’s user manual for more information.
The sound bar will automatically begin searching for an audio input. You can press the INPUT button (on the bar or the remote) to switch between audio sources.
Connect to your sound bar with Bluetooth

Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the sound bar for 5 seconds.

Select the Bluetooth button on the remote.

Once connected, you can now play audio and control the volume using your Bluetooth device.
