SIEMENS HR21A Safety Switches Heavy Duty
Product Information
The R Fuse Kit Installation Instructions is an add-on kit for the 30 or 60 Amp General Duty and VBII Safety Switch, Series A. The kit includes new fuse clip assemblies that can be installed on the safety switch. The product is made by Siemens and should only be used with certified components.
Product Usage Instructions
- Prepare the safety switch for R Fuse Kit installation. Turn OFF and lock out all power supplying this device before working on the device. Turn OFF the safety switch.
- Remove and discard factory installed, load side fuse clips.
- Discard the removed clips properly.
- If the clips are in good condition, they can be reused for other purposes.
- Install new fuse clip assemblies from the kit using recommended tools:
- Catalog No.: HR21A 30A 240V for 30 Amp General Duty
- Catalog No.: HR22A 60A 240V for 60 Amp General Duty
- Torque the new fuse clip assemblies to 18 lb-in.
- After installation, test the safety switch to ensure that it is working properly.
