Product Information

The Asana Ultrasone Aroma Diffuser is designed to aromatize the air in closed indoor spaces. It is intended for home use only and not for industrial purposes. The product comes with an instruction manual that contains important information for safe and proper use. Please read the manual carefully before using the product to avoid any damage or harm to individuals. The diffuser comes with a water reservoir, a mist knob, a light knob, a DC connection, a housing, an air outlet, and an air inlet. The diffuser also includes a concentrated plant-based essential oil that should be diluted in water before use.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Keep the diffuser upright and remove the lid (Fig. 1).
2. Connect the power adapter to the bottom of the diffuser (Fig. 2).
3. Place the lid back on the diffuser
4. Connect the power adapter to a power outlet (netstroom).
5. Press the mist knob for 2 seconds to adjust the mist setting. One beep indicates high mist setting and two beeps indicate low mist setting (Fig. 5).
6. Press the light knob to turn on the LED light. Each additional press changes the color or intensity of the light. Hold the light knob for 2 seconds to turn off the LED light (Fig. 6).
7. Empty the water tank after each use and dry it with a cloth.
8. If not using the diffuser for an extended period of time, empty the water tank and clean the diffuser according to the cleaning instructions below.

Cautionary Information

The essential oil included with the diffuser is highly concentrated and can be harmful if not used properly. Never use the essential oil internally. Always dilute the essential oil with water before using it in the diffuser. If the diffuser is accidentally knocked over, follow the steps mentioned in the manual to avoid any damage or malfunction. When cleaning the diffuser, never submerge the base in water. Following these usage instructions and safety precautions will ensure a safe and optimal experience with the Asana Ultrasone Aroma Diffuser.

Information on these instructions

This manual contains important information for the proper and safe use of the product. Therefore, read the entire manual before using the product to avoid risks to people and damage to the product. Keep the manual in a safe place. If you pass the product on to third parties, please pass on the manual as well.

Intended usage

The product is used for giving aroma to the air in closed indoor rooms only. The product is not intended for commercial use but rather only domestic use. Intended use also includes compliance with all information, specifications and precaution measures contained in these operating instructions. Any use other than for its intended purpose shall be deemed as misuse.

Introduction of the Green Select Aroma diffuser

This aroma diffuser uses ultrasonic waves to vaporize water and essential oils in the tank, to produce a cool and fragrant mist.

Warning
The essential oil supplied consists of pure essential oil from plants. The substances in essential oils are very concentrated and can have adverse effects on your health if not used properly. All essential oils supplied should only be used diluted in water in the Green Select aroma diffuser. NOT FOR INTERNAL USE!
The essential oil may be irritating to the skin. May cause sensitisation by skin contact. Keep out of reach of children. Wear suitable gloves. Do not induce vomiting if swallowed. Consult a doctor immediately or call the poison control centre. (Belgium: +32 (0)7 0 245 245) (Netherlands: +31 (0) 30 274 8888). In case of contact with eyes: rinse with plenty of water and soap. May be fatal if the pure substance enters the respiratory tract on ingestion. Very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.

Precautions

• Do not fill over the 500 ml max line at any time.
• Do not switch on power when the tank is empty.
• Do not touch the ultrasonic vibration plate when in use, this can cause damage to the unit or injury to the user.
• Do not leave water in the water reservoir when unit is not in use as it may result in the buildup of mineral deposits and bacterial growth.
• Clean regularly as described in the cleaning instructions section below to avoid malfunction.
• Always unplug from the power supply before filling or emptying the water supply and before cleaning.
• Only empty the water supply from the water drainage of the tank, emptying water through the air outlet can damage the product (see ‘Accidental spilling’).
• Do not place on wooden surfaces or near furniture that can be damaged by oils or too much moisture.
• Only use the measuring cup to add water to the tank, do not fill directly from the water tap.
• Do not use the product in wet rooms, such as bathrooms or saunas.
• Do not use the product in rooms with open fire (fireplace, gas cooker, candles etc.).
• Never immerse the aroma diffuser base in water.
• Do not clean with strong detergents, enzyme detergents or acids (like vinegar).
• Do not insert any objects into the openings of the product.
• Do not place on carpet or towels. The air intake is located on the bottom of the base. The air intake must not be obstructed.
• Keep away from direct sunlight, air conditioners or fans.
• Do not place the product close to other electrical devices. The device must only be used with the adapter supplied with the product. Never operate the diffuser with a damage cord or plug.
• Do not try to repair a broken product yourself, contact Green Select costumer service. Do not modify the product in any way.
• Do not touch any part of the product with wet hands when it is running and always unplug and plug the product with dry hands to avoid electrical shock or damage to the product.
• Keep children without supervision away from the aroma diffuser.
• Appliance is not suitable for children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge of the product, unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Certain essential oils can be toxic to pets, keep out of reach of pets. If you want to use the aroma diffuser in the vicinity of pets, please consult a veterinarian first.
• If smoke or a burning smell is detected, unplug immediately.
• Apply only 100% natural essential oils. Chemical ingredients, flavors and impurities may cause damage to the product.

Instructions

1. Keep the aroma diffuser upright and take off the cover. Fig. 1
2. Connect the power adapter to the power connector on the bottom of the aroma diffuser. Fig 2.
3. Add water using the measuring cup and drop a few drops of essential oils into the water tank. Do not add hot water and do not exceed the max line. Fig 3.
4. Put back the cover of the main body. Fig 4.
5. Connect the power adapter to the main power supply. Press the mist button to turn the aroma diffuser on and start creating mist.
6. Press the mist button one time for a 1-hour timer, a third time for a 6-hour timer, a  fourth time for continuous operations, and a fifth time to turn it off. Hold down the mist button settings. A single beep is high, a double beep is low. Fig 5.
7. Press the light button to turn on the light. Every time you press the light button you can select another color or intensity. By holding down the light button for 2 seconds you can turn off the light again. Fig 6
8. Empty the aroma diffuser after every session. Pat the water reservoir dry.
9. If you’re not planning to use it for a while, drain the water from the water tank and clean the aroma diffuser as described in the cleaning instructions.

Comments

1. Maximum usage time is 6 hours consecutively.
2. The amount and intensity of the mist may vary, depending on the humidity, room temperature and air current.
3. Auto powers off when water runs out.
4. Before adding a different essential oil, follow the cleaning instructions part of this manual, to prevent mixing of different essential oils.

Accidental spilling

If the device is accidentally knocked over, follow the steps below to avoid malfunctioning of the device:

1. Unplug the adapter and remove the power plug from the aroma diffuser.
2. Empty the water tank via the water outlet.
3. Wipe dry gently with a cloth and then let it air dry for at least 24 hours.

Cleaning instructions

Clean the device after 5-6 uses as follows:

• Unplug the aroma diffuser from the power supply and remove cover.
• Pour out any remaining water using the water drainage.
• Fill the water reservoir with some water and a mild kitchen detergent, don’t use vinegar. Empty the water and rinse extensively with clean, cool water. Make sure to always drain using the water drainage. Never immerse the diffuser base in water!
• Wipe clean gently with a cotton swab and dry lightly with a cleaning cloth.
• Allow all parts to air dry.

Troubleshooting

Will not switch on or off

| Not enough water in the tank.

– Add water to the tank.

Power cord not connected properly.

– Disconnect, check cables and re-connect

No mist or abnormal mist

| Not enough water or too much water.

–  Add a suitable amount of water, water must never be filled over the 500 ml max line.

Dirty ultrasonic plate.

– Clean like explained in the cleaning instructions.

Cover not installed properly.

–  Remove and reinstall correctly.

Dust on the air intake on the underside of the main body.

– If too much dust accumulated on the air

intake, the mist will be restricted. Just clean it.

Water leakage from aroma diffuser

| Cover not installed properly.

–  Remove and reinstall correctly.

Low room temperature or high air humidity.

–  Under these conditions, the mist may

condense quickly into water droplets.
