HEATPEX ARIA ADURO System for Recuperation

Product Information: Insulated Mass Flow Ductwork for Heat Recovery

Ventilation

The ARIA ADURO is a semi-rigid ducting system designed for air distribution in heat recovery ventilation units. It comes with a complete range of elements, including pipes, connectors, tees, reducers, mounting brackets, and adapters for HRV units with 150 and 180 mm spigots. The ARIA ADURO system is built from rigid materials with smooth inner walls, which reduces airflow resistance by up to 2 times compared to flexible ducts. This results in quiet operation and lower maintenance costs. The ARIA ADURO is also 9 times lighter than a traditional metal system, making it easier to install.

The ARIA ADURO system is 100% compatible with the HEATPEX ARIA air distribution semi-rigid ducting system, and its standard dimensions make it suitable for most heat recovery units available in the market. The internal dimensions of the ARIA ADURO comply with EN 1506:2007 standards. It also has high insulating properties, thanks to its EPS (expanded polystyrene) material.

Product Features
  • Three diameters: 125, 160, and 200 mm
  • Two times lower airflow resistance compared to flexible ducts
  • Nine times lighter than traditional metal systems
  • 100% compatible with HEATPEX ARIA air distribution semi-rigid ducting system
  • High insulating properties
  • Complete product range available on heatpex.pl

Usage Instructions

  1. Plan your installation: determine the airflow requirements, the route of the ductwork, and the location of the HRV unit and the air outlets.
  2. Choose the appropriate diameter of the ARIA ADURO pipes, reducers, and adapters for your HRV unit and air outlets. The ARIA ADURO system comes in three diameters: 125, 160, and 200 mm. Use the reducer to adjust to all diameters.
  3. Connect the ARIA ADURO elements together using the One Click technology, which makes it faster and easier than ever before.
  4. Use the original mounting brackets to install the ARIA ADURO pipes. The ultra-light elements require a minimum number of mounting brackets. Use markers (every 5 cm) to help cut the pipe to the required length. The wall thickness of only 17 mm lets you easily cut the pipe using a simple knife.
  5. Connect the HRV unit adapter to the corresponding spigot on your HRV unit using a band clamp.
  6. Connect the air outlets to the ARIA ADURO pipes using connectors or tees.
  7. Install duct silencers (optional) to reduce noise levels.

Elements of ARIA ADURO system

Mounting bracket with adjustable band clamp

Connector
Connector (gasket included)-a simple push-fit connection. Connector low profile does not alter the overall installation diameter Special openings indicate secure connection.

  • Pipes
1-metre section, made entirely from 1 piece (monopipe) higher tightness and lower damage risk.

  • Reducer
Adjustable to all 3 diameters 125/160/200 mm.

  • Connection
adapter Intended for MHRV recovery units with 150 and 180 mm spigots.
    150 160
    180> 200

Application of ARIA ADURO
Alternative to spiro pipes. Transfer of large air flows between:

  • Air intake, outlet grille
  • And heat recovery unit
  • heat recovery unit and internal air distribution ducting system

High insulating properties

Light, durable and airtight material with excellent insulating properties (EPS – expanded polystyrene), enriched with graphite – resistant to fungi, mould, and bacteria. Raw materials used along with added graphite significantly increase the insulation coefficient: λ=0.029 (W/mK), especially when compared to wool-insulated metal pipes.

Versatile system: 3 diameters
Reducer adjustable to all diameters

Original mounting brackets for quick installation

  • Quick installation – simply attach the bracket to the surface, slide the pipe through and tighten the band.
  • Ultra-light elements require a minimum number of mounting brackets.
  • Modularity – brackets, connected in series or in parallel, can be used for routing two or more ducts next to each other.
  • Versatility – one size bracket for all 3 diameters.

Effortless cutting

  • simple setup
Markers (every 5 cm) help cut the pipe to required length. Wall thickness of only 17 mm lets you easily cut the pipe, using a simple knife

ARIA Planner

HEATPEX-ARIA-ADURO-System-for-Recuperation-20

Design a heat recovery system in 10 minutes!
ARIA PLANNER – selection software, an easy tool that creates a bill of materials needed for each HRV project.

SIMPLE STEPS

STEP 1
Enter the list of rooms from your floorplan
ARIA PLANNER will automatically select the size of the heat recovery unit and required air flows depending on room type and number of occupants.
It will then create air flow balance for a harmonized supply and exhaust ventilation system.
ARIA PLANNER will also determine the number of supply and exhaust points (diffusers) for each room and calculate the number of required ventilation ducts.

STEP 2
Choose the type of connection to heat recovery unit – SIDE or CENTRAL
You will receive a list of components and air supply requirements, all tailored to your home design

STEP 3
Save and download your design

The design contains calculated air flows, a bill of materials tailored to the selected configuration as well as guidelines on installation of the heat recovery system. The document will indicate where and how to install diffusers, how to route ventilation ducts, and where to place the air intake and exhaust outlets. *
