Printheads

The Genuine Zebra Printheads are available in different dpi options, including 203 dpi, 300 dpi, and 600 dpi. The Extended Life Printheads are offered in 203 dpi or 300 dpi, designed for direct thermal high-volume printing applications. The on-metal printheads are available in 203 dpi or 300 dpi specifically designed for printing on metal surfaces.

Usage Instructions

When replacing a printhead or installing any of the accessories, make sure to follow the instructions provided in the user manual carefully.
For printhead replacement, follow the instructions below:

1. Turn off the printer
2. Open the printhead cover
3. Press down on the printhead handle and lift the printhead assembly out of the printer
4. Remove the shipping restraint on the new printhead if applicable
5. Slide the new printhead assembly into place, making sure it clicks into place
6. Close the printhead cover and turn on the printer

For accessory installation, follow the instructions provided in the user manual specific to each accessory. Make sure to turn off the printer before installing any accessory.
