IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read this user manual carefully to ensure proper use, maintenance and
installation.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury to
person:
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- This product is intended for domestic and light office use ONLY and not for commercial, industrial or outdoor use.
- Do not hold or interfere with the fan, during operation.
- Make sure the voltage in your home corresponds to the one shown on the rating label of the appliance.
- Never leave the fan unattended whilst it is in use. Always turn the product to the OFF position and unplug from the electrical outlet when not in use.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any fan is used by or near children, vulnerable or the elderly and whenever the fan is left operating unattended.
- Do not run cord under carpeting and do not cover cord with throw rugs. Arrange the cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- Do not operate the fan with a damaged cord or plug, or after the fan malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any manner.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician or return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment. This is in order to avoid a hazard.
- Use the fan in a well-ventilated area. Whilst using keep a distance of no less than 20cm from walls and other objects to ensure that the air inlets and outlets are not blocked or covered. Also exhaust openings and oscillation of the fan is not restricted or blocked.
- Do not insert or allow fingers or any other objects into the grilles or louvres to avoid any mechanical danger or injury during operation.
- Use the fan on a flat, stable and dry floor only.
- Unplug the unit from the wall socket when not in use. Please do not pull on the cord.
- Do not use the unit near a bath, shower, swimming pool or anywhere it could be splashed with water.
- Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight.
- The fan should stand upright during operation and never be laid on its side.
- Do not use the unit near flammable or explosive gases.
- Before cleaning the unit, switch off and unplug the power cord.
- Proper installation is required before operation.

FUNCTIONS
Power button (On/Off)
Press power button ** to turn on the fan, and the fan will operate at speed
2.
Press again to turn off the fan and enter into standby mode.
Wind speed button
Repeatedly press the wind speed button for desired wind speed. For every press
the speed will be increased from 1-3.
Mode button
Press mode button **to set mode from Normal wind mode, Night mode and
Breeze mode.

Breeze – The fan alternates periods of more and less power, simulating the feeling of a soft breeze. The amplitude of these shifts depends on the speed selected.

Night – The Night mode light indicator will be ON when this mode is selected. When the fan is at speed 3, it runs at this speed for 30 minutes, then at speed 2 for 30 more minutes and finally at speed 1 until it is turned off or the timer runs out.
When the fan is at speed 2, it runs at this speed for 30 minutes and then it keeps running at low speed until it is turned off or timer runs out.
When the fan is at speed 1, it simply keeps running at speed 1 until it is turned off or timer runs out. -
Normal – The fan operates constantly at the selected speed
Timer button
The appliance’s operating time can be controlled (1-12h).
To programme press Timer button , then press the Timer button ****
again to set the duration of time. The timer is up to 12 hours. To cancel the
set timer, press Timer button , then press Timer button again to set
as 00 Hrs.
Oscillation
Press OSC button to set oscillation from left to right.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Take the unit out of the box, removing any packaging.
- Fix the two bases together. (Fig.1)
- Put the base at the bottom of tower fan. Please ensure alignment with base and power cord hole position. (Fig.2)
- Fix the base and tower fan with the 4 screws. (Fig.3)
Remote
Before use, pull out the plastic card from the bottom of the remote. Please
make sure the remote is directed towards the fan when operating.
NOTE: this remote does NOT come with a battery as standard – 1 x CR2032
button battery is required for operation
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
We recommend cleaning the unit once a month.
- Always remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the fan to a complete stop before cleaning it.
- Clean the external surfaces of the fan using a damp cloth, and then wipe it using a dry cloth.
- When the unit is not in use, make sure that it is unplugged from the wall socket. To store the fan, you may pack it in the original carton and store it in a cool and dry place.
WARNING:
Do not allow the interior to get wet or immerse the fan in water as this could
create a hazard.
Do not use any cleaning chemicals such as detergents and abrasives.
In case of malfunction, do not try to repair the fan yourself, it may result
in a fire hazard or electric shock.

MAINS PLUG FUSE REPLACEMENT
Fuse Replacement (Class II)
Remove the fuse cover with a small flat head screw driver. Take out the fuse
and replace with a new fuse of the same Amp. Replace the fuse cover and push
back into place.
DISPOSAL INFORMATION
**** The European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not
be disposed of in normal unsorted municipal waste.
Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimise the recovery
and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human
health and the environment.
The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your
obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance it must be separately
collected.
Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information
concerning the correct disposal of their old appliance.
Igenix Warranty Terms & Conditions
This product is guaranteed for a period of 12 months as standard from the date
of purchase against mechanical and electrical defects. You can extend your
warranty for a further 12 months by registering your product.
Upon registration we will cover your product for a period of 24 months from
the original purchase date against any mechanical or electrical defects.
To qualify for the warranty, the product must be used for domestic household
use only and in accordance with the instructions in the user manual. Any
misuse of the product will result in the warranty being void.
The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, neglect, tampering or
incorrect adjustment or installation.
The warranty will be rendered invalid if the product is resold, has had its
serial number removed (or has an invalid serial number), or if an unauthorised
person has carried out any repairs or alterations.
The warranty does not cover accessories or consumable parts that require
replacement under normal use. This includes shelving, dials, filters, belts
and trays etc.
In the unlikely event of a breakdown please refer to the Troubleshooting guide
in your user manual and check all plugs, fuses and the electricity supply.

Please quote the Product Code which begins ‘IG’ or ‘DF’ and the PO Number on
the front of the manual, and give details of the exact fault. We will then
decide whether to repair or replace the item.
Before we arrange the repair or replacement you will be required to return a
copy of your proof of purchase. Please retain your original.
If an item is replaced within the agreed warranty period, the warranty for the
replacement item will be calculated from the purchase date of the original.
In the event that the product is inspected and no fault is found or the
product is not within the warranty period you will be charged for the repair
and any carriage costs.
