Product Overview

The WWD2-2 replaces a standard wall switch and is available in two models: WWD2-2SM and WWD2-2IW. The WWD2-2SM is a surface-mounted switch that can be handheld, while the WWD2-2IW mounts into a junction box. The switch communicates wirelessly and can join a network by button triggering. The WWD2-2 is ideal for use in commercial offices, education, healthcare, and retail settings. The WWD2-2 is a battery-powered wall dimmer switch that takes the place of a standard wall switch. Using wireless communications, this switch can be used to turn lights on, off, or dim to the users light preference levels. Installation is quick and easy without the need for any wires, plenum access or wall cavity, while its sleek, low-profile design will complement any office or commercial environment.

Daintree wireless controls are available integrated and preinstalled in many Current lighting fixtures. Any 0-10V lighting fixture can be enabled with Daintree controls with a Daintree LCA kit. Installation Instructions

  1. Turn off power to the circuit at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
  2. Remove the existing wall switch from the junction box.
  3. If using the WWD2-2SM model, hold the switch coverplate against the wall to determine the location for the switch. If using the WWD2-2IW model, mount the switch into the junction box.
  4. Attach the switch to the wall or junction box using screws.
  5. Insert four AAA batteries into the switch.
  6. Turn on power to the circuit at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
  7. Press and hold any button on the switch to join the network.
  8. The switch is now ready to use.

Note : For best performance, it is recommended to install the switch within 100 feet of a Wireless Area Controller (WAC).

Usage Instructions

  • To turn on the lights, press and release the top button.
  • To turn off the lights, press and release the bottom button.
  • To dim the lights, press and hold either button until the desired lighting level is reached. Release the button to set the lighting level.
