Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Contents

Make sure all contents of the Digital Media Locker AQ-DM-5BT are included in the package.

Step 2: Connections

Connect the 12-pin harness to the Digital Media Locker for power and speaker channel output connections. Do not cut or modify the 12-pin harness on the Locker side or the warranty will be void. Use the auxiliary outputs to connect external amplifiers, if necessary. Connect the 8-pin DIN remote receiver cable to the RF Remote Control Receiver, if needed.

Step 3: Mounting

Use the included mounting template to cut a hole for the Digital Media Locker. Once the mounting hole is complete, make sure the outside surface is clean and clear of debris. The Digital Media Locker has an external water/dust proof gasket, but this requires a clean and flat surface for the best performance. Use the six front screws to mount the Digital Media Locker. During final mounting, apply equal pressure to all points for the best water/dust outer seal performance. Make sure screws are snug and do not over tighten. Review all outside surfaces of the Digital Media Locker to ensure proper water/dust seal. This is important for long-term environmental protection performance for your digital media device.

Step 4: Power On

Press the on/off button inside the dock to turn on the Digital Media Locker. The red light indicates that power to the docking station is ON, but the unit is in standby mode. The blue light indicates that the unit is powered ON and looking for an audio source. For more information and detailed instructions, please refer to the user manual provided with the AQ-DM-5BT.
