A 4950 Paging Microphone Chime Module

The A 4950 Paging Microphone Chime Module is a device that can be added inline with a paging microphone to add pre and post-announcement chimes to the audio signal. It is commonly used in airports, train stations, and shopping centers to gain the attention of patrons. The module requires a paging microphone with a 5 pin XLR connector and PTT (push-to-talk) function to be compatible. When the microphone is used, the PTT contacts trigger the internal chime. The module has a screwdriver volume adjustment for adjusting overall paging level output, and a 24V DC power supply is included for powering the device. The PTT contacts are carried through to the output via 2-way screw terminal. At the completion of the announcement, when the PTT is released, the module will play the post-announcement chime (selectable on/off). The audio output is via a 3 pin XLR.
