BUCCAN 8720512980257 Cast Iron Cookware
Product Information
Buccan cast iron cookware is designed to last a lifetime. The cookware is suitable for oven and hob use but not for use in a microwave oven. The edge on the body of the pan (on which the lid rests, and the lid itself) is not enamelled and should be greased regularly with plant-based cooking oil (sunflower seed, rapeseed or something similar) to provide anti-rust properties. If you have accidentally damaged the enamel, rub a little cooking oil over the chipped area and wipe away the excess with a paper towel before each use. After cleaning, apply a small amount of vegetable oil to the exposed surface to protect the cookware from rusting. If rust spots still appear, these can easily be removed with the rough side of a plastic scouring pad. After the rust has been removed, oil the edge again.
