Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my Hoover dryer not drying my clothes?
A good airflow is key for a dryer to work properly. If your clothes are still wet after a drying cycle it could mean that the Air Vent is clogged. To fix this problem, you will have to unplug the dryer and disconnect it from the vent. Once everything is disconnected, it’s time to vacuum the vent.
What are the drying settings on Hoover?
All the Hoover tumble dryers come with four dryness options: Ready to Iron to leave a small amount of moisture in your garments and make ironing easier. Dry Hanger, for garments ready to hang up. Dry Wardrobe for ready-to-store garments. Extra Dry, for completely dry garments.
Do tumble dryers dry clothes?
Tumble dr indicates that the item of clothing can be dried using a dryer rather than hanging it up or laying flat to dry. Garments with laundry labels that show it’s safe to tumble dry can be thrown in the dryer using the recommended heat setting.
How do you stop a Hoover dryer?
To cancel the cycle during the drying phase, hold the button down for 2 seconds until the cooling indicator lights up; given the high temperature inside the drum, we recommend that you allow the dryer to complete the cool- down period before returning the program selector to the OFF position and removing the laundry.
Do tumble dryers stop automatically?
Most of our models offer sensor drying programs that identify the levels of moisture in the drum and automatically stop the load when the desired level of dryness is achieved.
How do you unlock a Hoover dryer?
Simply plug the product back in or restore the power and then switch off the appliance using the button on the control panel. The door will now unlock.
What temperature should I put the dryer on?
Temperatures under 150°F are gentle enough to get the clothes dry without causing harm. In recent years, we’ve measured dryer temperatures as low as 123°F and as high as 176°F. Dryers running at lower temperatures have proven themselves to be just as fast and effective at drying clothes as dryers that run hot.

Do dryers know when to stop?
Sensors monitor dryer conditions to achieve an optimal dry for each load—or whatever dryness level you choose. When air reaches the right temperatures and clothes are as dry as they should be, the cycle stops.
