Product Usage Instructions

Before First Use

Remove the protective film on the lens
To unlock the headlamp, press and hold the switch for over 1 second
Fully charge the battery pack before first use

Before your first use, please remove the protective film on the lens. The light arrives in lockout mode for shipping purposes. To unlock, please press and hold the switch (over 1 second).

Charging

Remove the charging port protective cover
Connect the battery pack to a USB adapter or USB charging port using the provided Type-C USB cable
The battery pack indicator will flow in red while charging, and it will fully light up once it is fully charged
After charging, remove the cable and close the port cover

Before first use, please fully charge the battery pack. Remove the charging port protective cover, then connect the battery pack to the USB adapter or USB charging port via the provided USB A-C charging cable. The battery pack indicator will flow in red continuously while charging and it will fully light up once it is fully charged. After charging, please remove the cable and close the port cover.

Standard Charging Time: Approx.4.5hrs (5V/1A)

NOTE

When the headlamp is on, the battery pack indicator will light up simultaneously for 3 seconds, and then it will flash continuously to remind the battery level.
It comes without USB power source in the package, please note that it can be charged by PC or any other USB power source with output of 1A or above.
It takes no more than 4.5 hours to fully charge the light (For reference only.
When the USB power source is insufficient to provide 5V 1A power capacity, the charging time will be longer).

How to Operate:

To turn the headlamp on/off, single press the switch
The default output is the last mode when turned off
To enter SOS mode, quickly triple click the switch while in the unlocked state
To access lockout mode, press and hold the switch (over 1 second) when the headlamp is off
To unlock, press and hold the switch (over 1 second)
To control brightness with hand gestures, wave your hand to the left to turn off the spotlight, and wave to the right to turn it on. Wave up to increase brightness and down to decrease it. Not applicable when switching between white and red light or in SOS mode.

DANGER

DO NOT shine the light directly into human eyes. This may cause temporary blindness or permanent damage to the eyes.
DO NOT cover the headlamp when it is on. The heat built-up may cause close objects to burn or even result in unexpected disasters

WARNING

Keep out of reach of children

NOTICE

If the headlamp is left unused or carried and transported, please lock it to avoid accidentally activating the headlamp.

HOW TO OPERATE

ON/OFF: Single press the headlamp switch to turn on/off, the default output is the last mode when turned off. (Please note: SOS is not memorized).
CHANGE BRIGHTNESS LEVEL: When the headlamp is on, press and hold the switch to change brightness level. The output brightness will cycle through Low→Medium→ High→Low… until the switch is released.
CHANGE MODE: When the headlamp is on, double click the switch to cycle through floodlight light→floodlight and spotlight mixed→red light→floodlight…
SOS: In the unlocked state, quickly triple click the switch to enter the SOS mode and single click to return the previous mode.
LOCKOUT: When the headlamp is off, press and hold the switch (over 1 second) to access the lockout mode.
UNLOCK: Press and hold the switch (over 1 second) to unlock. When unlocking, it will output the low floodlight.
HAND WAVE CONTROL: When the headlamp is on, wave hand to the left, the spotlight will turn off; wave hand to the right, the spotlight will turn on. Wave up to increase the brightness level and wave down to decrease the brightness level. Not applicable when switching between red light and the white light with a hand gesture and it will have no response when waving in SOS mode.

WARRANTY

Within 30 days of purchase: Contact the original seller for repair or replacement.
Within 2 years of purchase: Contact Olight for repair or replacement.
Battery Pack: one year.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, modifications, misuse, disintegrations, negligence, accidents, improper maintenance, or repair by anyone other than an authorized retailer or Olight itself.
