Remove the mower and all accessories from the packaging. The mower comes from the factory disassembled. Check whether you have all accessories needed to assemble the mower:

Lower and upper part of handle
2 fastening screws for lower part of handle
2 fastening nuts 2 screws and
2 washers for fastening the upper part of the handle
2 cable clips Holder for extension cord (already mounted on the upper part of the handle)

Handle
  • Insert the lower handle into the hole in the upper part of the mower (Fig. 1) and secure it with the screws.
  • Attach the upper handle to the lower handle and use the handle screws, washers and fastening nuts to tighten (Fig. 2).
  • Attach the power cable between the switch block and the motor to the handle using the clips. It is important that the power cable be safely clipped to the handle to prevent dangerous situations from occurring.
Collection bag
  • The collection bag is made up of two parts: an upper and a lower one.
  • Place the lower part on a firm pad or floor.
  • From above, attach the upper part such that the protrusions in the lower part are flush with the holes in the upper part. Gently press the upper part so that the protrusions go through the holes. Clicking means they are properly secured (Fig. 3).
  • Before use, make sure that all protrusions of the lower part are firmly inserted into the holes in the upper part.
Preparing the mower before turning it on

Before each time the mower is turned on, it is important to attach the collection bag and set the cutting height.

Warning: Before attaching the collection bag and setting the cutting height, always make sure that the mower is turned off and disconnected from the power source, and that the blade has completely stopped!

Attaching the collection bag
  • With one hand, lift the collection bag cover.
  • Use the other hand to grab the collection bag by the handle and attach the bag to the hitches in the mower body (Fig. 4).
  • Carefully place the cover on the collection bag.
  • Make sure the collection bag is properly placed against the mower body and does not move or tilt.
Adjusting the cutting height
  • You can set the cutting height to any of five levels.
  • Grab the lever and move it up or down to set the desired cutting height.
  • Secure the lever in the groove.

Note: If you need to change the height while mowing, first always turn off the mower, unplug it from the power source and wait for the cutting blade to completely stop.

Turning the mower on/off
  • Fully unwind the extension cord and insert the plug into the extension cord socket. Connect the extension cord plug to a properly earthed power outlet.

Attention: Power the mower only from a circuit protected by a circuit breaker with maximum tripping current of 30 mA.

· With one hand, press the on/off switch. · With the other hand, pull the switch lever toward the handle, and the mower will start. · Let up on the on/off switch. · It is important to hold the switch lever to the handle during the mowing process. · As soon as you let up on the switch lever, the mower automatically shuts off.

Mowing

Warning: Do not overload the mower. Let the mower run at an easy speed.

  • During mowing, we recommend following these instructions:
  • Lay the extension cord as close as possible to the place where you start mowing.
  • Turn on the mower and wait for the cutting blade to start turning.
  • Gently push the mower ahead of you and go in rows from the starting point.

Warning: Constantly pay attention to where the extension cord is. Never guide the mower toward the extension cord.

  • As soon as the collection bag is full, turn off the mower, and disconnect the power cable plug from the extension cord. Wait for the cutting blade to completely stop.
  • With one hand, grab the collection bag by the handle, and with the other, lift the collection bag cover.
  • Lift the collection bag to release it from the hitches in the mower body.
  • Empty the collection bag and put it back on. Follow the instructions above in the section “Atta- ching the collection bag”.
  • Plug the power cord plug into the socket of the extension cord, turn on the mower and continue cutting.

Warning: Always turn off the mower, remove the power cable plug from the extension cord socket, and wait for the cutting blade to completely stop if you are going to empty the collection bag, remove an object from the mowing location, transfer the mower or move it to a different mowing location, or leave the mower without supervision or in a similar situation where you won’t have full control of the mower.

Recommendation: For optimum results, mow dry grass. If the grass is taller than 10 cm, we recommend mowing twice, first at the highest cutting height, and then at a medium or low cutting height.

  • As soon as you finish mowing, release the switch lever, turn off the mower, remove the power cable plug from the extension cord socket, and wait for the cutting blade to completely stop Empty the collection bag and clean the mower according to the instructions in the “Service and maintenance” section.

SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE

Warning: Before performing any maintenance or service, always turn off the mower, remove the power cable plug from the extension cord socket, and wait for the cutting blade to completely stop. Wear safety gloves.

Regular maintenance
  • Clean the mower after every use. It is important to keep the mower clean to prevent hazards and extend its service life.
  • Empty the collection bag and remove remaining grass from the walls of the bag. If necessary, you can rinse out the collection bag with running water. Give it time to dry out.
  • Wipe the outer surface of the mower with a clean cloth previously moistened with warm water and a little detergent.

Warning: Prevent water from getting into the motor compartment.
For cleaning, never use aggressive cleaning products, petrol or solvents.

  • Lay the mower on its side and remove remaining grass from the blade and the inner walls of the mower.

Warning: When removing remaining grass from inside the mower, be careful not to hurt yourself on the blade.
The blades are very sharp and pose a severe injury risk if handled improperly.

  • Let the mower dry and then put it in a dry, well-ventilated place.

Warning: Never clean the mower (other than the collection bag) with flowing water or pressure cleaners.

Recommendation: To remove remaining grass, you can use a flow of air under low compression.

Maintaining the cutting blades
  • Regularly check the condition of the cutting blade. If the blade is damaged, absolutely do not use the mower, and have the blade replaced. We recommend that only a qualified person replace the blade. Always use only an original cutting blade specified by the manufacturer.

Warning: Always make sure the cutting blade has completely stopped and the power cable is unplugged from the extension cord socket. Be especially careful not to injure yourself when handling the blade. When handling the blade, it is necessary to wear work gloves.

WARNING: NEVER USE A MOWER WITH A DAMAGED CUTTING BLADE.

  • If the mowing results are not satisfactory, the grass is not smoothly cut, the blade is probably dull and needs to be sharpened.

  • Put on safety gloves and carefully lay the mower on its side.

  • With one hand, grab the blade, and with the other hand use a wrench to loosen the cutting bla-
    de’s screw (Fig. 5).

  • Carefully remove the blade and clamp it in a vice. · Always sharpen the ends of the knife and proceed uniformly and evenly when honing (Fig. 6).

  • Check that the blade is balanced by inserting a screwdriver into the blade’s centre hole and waiting until the blade stops moving (Fig. 7). If the blade is even, it is properly balanced. If it leans to one side or the other, it will be necessary to hone the side that is heavier (below).

Warning: Always check that the blade is balanced. A poorly balanced cutting blade can cause excessive vibration and damage the mower.

Attach the sharpened cutting blade to the central shaft and fasten the blade with the screw. Make sure it is properly tightened.

Note: Before each use, check that the cutting blade is tight.
