With this wireless AA adapter, you are able to get rid of messy cables and convert wired to wireless Android Auto. Super convenient to connect Android Auto on your car  display. You could also easily control the various functions with this AA dongle like accessing google assistant, getting navigation, playing music, phone calling, volume  control, and much more.

Method of Application

  1. Plug this adapter into your car’s existing Android Auto enabled USB port.
  2. Turn on BLUETOOTH. Go to your phone’s bluetooth settings and click on “SmartBox-xxxx”. Allow pairing, syncing, and Android Auto use.
  3. Wait for a few seconds (20s-50s) then your wireless connection is ready to use.

Online Upgrade

  1. Plug this wireless dongle to a USB power adapter.
    (Noted: Don’t plug in the USB port which with data transmission or it may fail to upgrade.)

  2. Turn on your phone’s and connect the named “smartBox-xxxx” (Password: 88888888). Enter IP address 192.168.1.101 in phone’s browser. Click “Switch P2P”and  “Update”. Then wait for updating process (around 2-3 min).

  3. Check the status of the Led light. When the Led light is flashing means it’s updating. When the Led light is always on means update was completed, After that please reboot the adapter by unplugging it and plugging it back in
    NOTE: If this wireless adapter works out of the Box. DO NOT UPGRADE

Q1: Will it work for my car or phone ?****

– A1: this AA adapter will work for smartphone with Android 11.0 version (or above) such as Samsung, Google phone, etc. And your car has to come with factory original  wired Android Auto stereo.

Q2: Does it reconnect automatically?****

– A2: Yes once paired, every time you get back into the car, this adapter automatically connects and allows you to use Android Auto wirelessly.

Q3: How fast does it take to connect?****

– A3: It depends on your phone and cars. Initial connection usually takes 30-50 seconds only. More frequent use will be faster.

Q4: Does it complicated to set up? Do need to download any APP ?****

– AA: NO. Totally plug and play. All you have to do is connect this AA adapter to the car’s USB port and pair your phone to “smartBox-x0x”.
– Allow Pairing, Syncing and Android Auto use on the phone.

Q5: When this adapter does not work properly, how to use several advanced settings and how to upload the log data ?****

– A5: Connect the named “smartBox-»x0xx” of this adapter (Password: 88888888). Enter IP address 192.168.1.101 on your phone’s browser. You could switch Unit Type mode or restore factory settings.
– Also fill your car’s information and problem of this adapter. Then click Submit to upload the log data to us.

Q6: What should | do if the adapter still does not work on my car after following the instructions?****
