With this CARLIMEKI wireless Carp lay adapter you are going to have a simpler, safer way to use your phone in the car. Super convenient connects to Carp lay on your car display. You can easily control the various functions with this Carp lay dongle like accessing Siri, getting navigation, playback music volume control, skipping a track, volume control, and much more.

Method of Application

Plug this adapter into your car’s existing Carp lay enabled USB port.

Turn on WLAN & BLUETOOTH. Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings and click on “Smart Box- xxxx “.Allow pairing, syncing, and Carp lay use.

Wait for a few seconds (20s-50s) then your wireless connection is ready to use.

Plug this wireless dongle to a USB power adapter. (Noted: Don’t plug in the USB port which with data transmission or it may fail to upgrade.)

Turn on your iPhone’s WLAN and connect the WiFi named “SmartBox-xxxx” (Password: 88888888). Enter IP address 192.168.1.101 in Safari. Click “Update” then wait for the update to complete (around 2-3 min).

Check the status of LED light. when the Led light is flashing means it’s updating. When the Led light is always on means update was completed, After that please reboot the adapter by unplugging it and plugging it back in.
NOTED: If your wireless Carp lay adapter works out of the Box.

Q1: Will it work for my car or phone?
A 1: this is CARPLAY adapter so only work for I PHONE (IOS 7.1 above
required). And your car has to come with factory wired Carp lay.
Q2: Does it reconnect automatically?
A2: Yes once paired, every time you get back into the car the Carp lay
adapter automatically connects and allows you to use Carp lay wirelessly.
Q3: How fast does it take to connect?
A3: It depends on your phone and cars. Initial connection usually takes
30-50 seconds only. More frequent use will be faster.
Q4: Does it complicated to set up? Do I need to download any APP?
M: NO. Totally plug and play. All you have to do is connect the Carp lay
adapter to the car’s USB port and pair your phone to “SmartBox-xxxx”. Allow
Pairing, Syncing and Carp lay use on the phone.
Q5: When this adapter does not work properly, how to use several advanced
settings and how to upload the log data ?
A5: Connect the WiFi named “SmartBox-xxxx” of this adapter (Password:
88888888). Enter IP address 192.168.1.101 in Safari. You could switch Unit
Type mode or Audio streaming mode. Also fill your car’s information and
problem of this adapter. Then click Submit to upload the log data to us.
Q6: What should I do if the adapter still does not work on my car after
following the instructions?
A6: Please try contacting us directly. There are a couple options on the
Admin Panel that can be changed to make it work on your Car!
