Product Information: High Chair

The High Chair model LB-KDD-H003-Grey comes with a seat frame assembly, tray, and footrest. The chair can be folded for easy storage and has a restraint system to keep the child safe while using it. The tray has three locking positions and is adjustable for easy use. The footrest has pins that lock securely into place. The chair comes with a warning to always secure the child in the restraint belt and to remove the child before folding the chair.

Product Usage Instructions

Assembly

  1. Unfold the high chair by holding both sides of the backrest with both hands, lift it up and put it on the ground.
  2. Pull the backrest back. When you hear a click, it proves that the dining chair has been opened.
  3. To install the footrest, insert the footrest tubes into the footrest attachment posts on the seat assembly until the pins pop out. Make sure the pins are locked.

Using High Chair

  1. Place your child in the seat with the crotch strap between their legs. Fasten both waist buckles. Clip the shoulder straps to the attachment openings on the waist strap/ buckle assembly. Adjust the straps (in 5 places) for a snug fit. To unbuckle, press the center button and pull out buckle tongues.
  2. Use the tray to serve food to your child. Locate both tray release levers underneath tray. Squeeze and hold the levers. Align the tray with the armrests and slide into 1 of 3 locking positions. Release the levers to lock tray into position. The tray has 3 adjustment positions. To adjust tray: Squeeze and hold the tray release levers and slide the tray backward or forward to desired position. To remove tray: Squeeze and hold the tray release levers. Slide the tray off of the armrests.

Care And Maintenance
High chair, seat pad, and tray:

  • Wipe with soft cloth dampened with soapy water and towel dry.
  • Restraint and crotch straps should be surface washed and air dried only.
  • Seat pad is non-removable.

Folding the High Chair

  1. Remove the child and tray from the high chair.
  2. Pull up on the rear leg release latches.
  3. Lift rear of frame and fold forward.

Caution and Warning

  • Always secure child in the restraint belt. Adjust to fit snugly.
  • Do not force the tray against the child. Ensure the child’s hands are free from moving parts when the tray is being attached or removed to avoid pinching or entrapment. Before using the tray, check it is securely locked onto the armrests by pulling on the tray.
  • Remove the child from the high chair before folding.

The High Chair, seat cushion, and tray can be cleaned with a damp cloth. The seat cushion is not removable.

  • Adult assembly required. No tools needed.
  • READ all instructions before assembly and use of high chair.

WARNING INSTRUCTION

FALL HAZARD: Children have suffered severe head injuries including skull fractures when falling from high chairs. Falls can happen suddenly if child is not restrained properly.

  • ALWAYS use restraints and adjust to fit snugly.
  • Child should be secured in the high chair at all times by the restraining system.
  • It is recommended that the high chair be used only by children capable of sitting upright unassisted.
  • Tray is not designed to hold child in chair.
  • Stay near and watch child during use.
  • DO NOT lift or move high chair with child in it.
  • NEVER use near stairs.
  • POSITION THE HIGH CHAIR AWAY FROM SOLID STRUCTURES AND BENCHES TO AVOID INJURIES CAUSED BY FALLS AND ACCESS TO DANGEROUS ITEMS.
  • Double check assembly before placing child into high chair.
  • Always keep your child in view while using the high chair.
  • DO NOT allow children to stand on the seat.
  • DO NOT elevate the high chair on any structure or table.
  • DO NOT use the high chair without the tray and always ensure the tray is secure on the arm rests.
  • When making adjustments to the high chair, make sure that you and your child’s body, fingers and toes are clear of any moving parts on the high chair, otherwise they may be injured.
  • Position the high chair away from furniture, walls, hot surfaces and liquids, window covering cords, electrical cords and position the high chair away from furniture when the chair is not being used at a table.

To Assemble
Unfold the high chair
Hold both sides of the backrest with both hands,
lift it up and put it on the ground. Pull the backrest back.

Installing Footrest

Insert the footrest tubes into the footrest attachment posts on the seat assembly until the pins pop out (figure a).
Make sure the pins are locked (figure b).

CAUTION:
Please ensure pins emerge completely through holes prior to use.

HOW TO USE

Using Restraint System

Place your child in the seat with the crotch strap between their legs. Fasten both waist buckles (figure a).
Clip the shoulder straps to the attachment openings on the waist strap/buckle assembly (figure b).
Adjust the straps (in 5 places) for a snug fit (figure c).

Using the Tray

WARNING

THE TRAY IS NOT DESIGNED TO HOLD THE CHILD IN THE HIGH CHAIR. THE CHILD IS TO BE SECURED BY THE SAFETY RESTRAINTS AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE HIGH CHAIR.
Locate both tray release levers underneath tray.
Squeeze and hold the levers (figure a).
Align the tray with the armrests and slide into 1 of 3 locking positions. Release the levers to lock tray into position (figure b).
The tray has 3 adjustment positions.
To adjust tray: Squeeze and hold the tray release levers and slide the tray backward or forward to desired position.
To remove tray: Squeeze and hold the tray release levers. Slide the tray off of the armrests.
