IL22 Effector Reporter Cell CBP74175

Background

Interleukin-22 (IL-22) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the IL22 gene. IL-22 primarily targets non-hematopoietic epithelial and stromal cells where it can promote proliferation and play a role in tissue regeneration. In addition, IL-22 regulates host defense at barrier surfaces. However, IL-22 has also been linked to several conditions involving inflammatory tissue pathology.

Introduction

  • Expressed gene: IL22R
  • Stability: 32 passages (in-house test, that not means the cell line will be instable beyond the passages we tested.)
  • Synonym(s): Interleukin-22, IL-TIF, ILTIF, ZCYTO18
  • Freeze Medium: 90% FBS+10% DMSO
  • Culture Medium: DMEM+10%FBS+2ug/ml puromycin+200ug/ml hrgromycin+5ug/ml blasticidin
  • Mycoplasma Testing: Negative
  • Storage: Liquid nitrogen
  • Application(s): Functional(Report Gene) Assay

Product Usage Instructions

IL22 Effector Reporter Cell CBP74175 is used for functional (report gene) assay. The cells should be stored in liquid nitrogen until ready to use. To culture the cells, use DMEM with 10% FBS and add the following antibiotics: 2ug/ml puromycin, 200ug/ml hrgromycin, and 5ug/ml blasticidin. The cells should be tested for mycoplasma contamination before use. The stability of the cell line has been tested up to 32 passages. When using the cells for experiments, refer to the representative data provided in the user manual for guidance.
