We recommend you read this document thoroughly to familiarise yourself with how your product works, how you should use it safely and effectively and how to look after your product to ensure it continues working as it should. Please be aware that this manual covers both the floor and table versions of this product.

Product Information

This High Vision Reading Lamp is specially designed using a near daylight bulb to give you the perfect light for reading, hobbies or close work.

The floodlight effect bulb delivers constant light to cover the maximum working area and prevent eyestrain and headaches.

Any screw fixings will be packaged with the instruction manual. Please ensure that you have all components before disposing of packaging.

How to use…

Assembly

The bulb for both the table and floor light has been pre-installed but can become loose in transit.

After assembly, please check that the bulb is correctly seated (see diagram opposite) before using your lamp.

ALWAYS UNPLUG LAMP BEFORE PERFORMING BULB REPLACEMENT OR INSTALLATION.

Assembly- Floor Light

Please follow the steps below to assemble your Neck Pole floor light. We recommend lying all the pieces on a large table or floor. You should not remove the polystyrene packaging from around the bulb until assembly is complete.

For ease of installation, please connect the components in the order suggested.

Assembly

  1. Feed the power cord through the pole taking care that the cord runs from the top of the pole to the bottom (as marked on the pole). In some instances your power cord may be pre-installed.
  2. Place the base on the floor and connect the power cord lock connectors to connectors on the base.
  3. Holding the pole in one hand and the neck in the other, slide the bottom of the pole into the base, allowing any slack in the power cord to gather at the top of the pole.
  4. Tuck any slack power cord into the top of the pole and insert the neck into the top of the pole.
  5. Using the screws provided, fix the bottom and top of the pole where indicated.
Operation

Assembly

Please ensure that the bulb is free of packaging and is correctly seated before operating your lamp.

The lamp can be switch on and off using the power switch and the light directed by moving the adiustable gooseneck.

To replace the bulb, please refer to the ‘How to look after’ section of this instruction manual.

How to look after

Replacing the Light Bulb

Ensure the lamp is unplugged and the bulb is fully cooled before attempting replacement.

  1.  To remove the original bulb, firmly hold the base of the bulb (B) and pull horizontally from the socket (A) per figure 1.

  2. Proceed to pull the bulb free of the retaining clips and dispose of the bulb carefully.

  3. To replace with a new bulb, firmly hold the base of the bulb (B) and push horizontally into the socket (A) per figure 2.

  4. Position the fitted bulb between the retaining clips, ensuring the bulb is firmly seated (see ‘How to use-Assembly’ scetion of this instruction manual).

Replacement Bulbs Your lamp uses a 24W full spectrum tube. Replacement bulbs are available from Lifemax under reference 250A

Storage and Cleaning
Store the lamp in a dry location with moderate temperatures.

Unplug the lamp and allow it to cool before cleaning. The body of the lamp may be wiped clean with a damp cloth and the glass may be cleaned with a suitable glass cleaner. Take care to ensure no liquid enters the unit during cleaning. Avoid using abrasive chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents.

Safety Information

  1. Do not use this appliance in a hot or humid environment. such as bathroom or kitchen, or where there is evidence of damage to the case or components as this may result in malfunction or shock.
  2. Take care when positioning the lamp to ensure it could not fall and injure someone and that the bulb does not concentrate heat on an adjacent surface.
  3. Do not expose or store the appliance in excessive heat or direct sunlight.
  4. Do not disassemble the lamp, it contains no user servicable parts.
  5. This product is for indoor use only.

This guarantee is from the date of purchase and is only valid with proof of purchase, Please note this guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by accident or maltreatment.
