Notes on Use
- Keep this product out of extreme temperatures, extreme humidity, and direct sunlight for storing.
- Do not expose this product to rapid changes in temperature.
- Keep this product out of reach of small children.
- When you find this product wet or soiled on its surface, wipe off with a soft, dry cloth. Remained water droplets may leave spots of residue, such as chlorine residue in tap water, on the surface after evaporation.
- Do not use volatile solvent (e.g. alcohol), chemicals, or a hard brush for cleaning as it may cause deterioration or damage to the product.
- Do not intentionally damage this product.
- If this product on the camera screen appears damaged or disfigured, immediately stop using the camera. If you keep using it, you could have your hand or face injured by the broken part of the product.
- When you remove this product from the camera screen, please take care not to have your hand injured.
- This product may come off from the camera screen while you are putting the camera into or taking it out of your pocket or bag.
- With this product attached, the camera screen may appear translucent.
- Attaching this product to the camera screen may cause touch operations to be less responsive.
- This product does not completely prevent scratches and stain. Damage prevention to the LCD is not guaranteed.
- Sony will not be held responsible for incidental damage (alteration of device, loss, loss of profits and other expenses involved) arising from the use or the impossibility of using this product.
- This product is made of glass. Protect the product against any physical force on your own responsibility. Bending or dropping it may cause cracks or scratches on the product.
- Sony will not guarantee malfunctions when using or damage when peeled off, if this product is incorrectly fixed (Distortion, air bubbles, etc.).
- This product is a screen protect glass sheet exclusively designed for the supported camera models. Do not use the product for any other purposes.
Attaching
- Wipe off soil and dust from the camera screen surface with the supplied cleaning cloth.
- Before you attach this glass sheet, it is recommended that you should thoroughly wash your hands.
- When the camera screen has a protective sheet attached, peel if off before you attach this glass sheet.
- When attaching this glass sheet, make sure you are in a place that is free of dust and sand.
- Pull the tab of the release liner to peel it off from the back of this glass sheet.
- Before you peel off the release liner, make sure that you know where to attach this glass sheet on the camera screen.
- Make sure that the release liner has no scuffs or cracks, and then peel it off with sufficient care.
- Do not bend this glass sheet or exert excessive force to the sheet in order to peel off the release liner.
- In case you find the release liner scuffed or opaque, it still has no consequences to this glass sheet.
- Place this glass sheet on the camera screen while aligning its position.
- Please take sufficient care not to have your hand injured by the edge of this glass sheet.
- Do not touch the adhesive surface of this glass sheet or wipe it with a cloth.
- Press this glass sheet against the camera screen to adhere it firmly to the LCD surface.
- Once this glass sheet is firmly adhered, it will be hard to remove and reattach the sheet.
- Attaching and removing this glass sheet repeatedly will cause the sheet to lose its adhesiveness. It is preferable that you attach the sheet at your first try.
- Do not exert excessive pressure on this glass sheet as it may break the sheet.
- Do not press this glass sheet with a pointed object.
You should be aware that you attach this glass sheet on your own responsibility.
