GUIDELINES AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SAFE USE

  1. WARNING! This product is intended as an aid. Do not use it as a medical monitor or a substitute for responsible and proper adult supervision.

  2. Never leave your baby alone at your home. Always make sure there is someone present to look after the baby and take care of its needs.

  3. his appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

  4. he product is not a toy. Do not let Your children to play with it!

  5. Use this product only as intended and described in this manual.

  6. Do not use any accessories, which are not provided by the manufacturer.

  7. Warning! Suffocation hazard. When charging the battery of the baby unit, connect the charger to a wall outlet farthest from your baby. Place the baby unit as far away as possible from your baby. Cables should be placed out of the reach of children (at least 1 meter away).

  8. Do not put or install the device in or above the baby crib/ play yard.

  9. The baby unit should be at least 1 meter away from your child in order to ensure that the microphone can pick up the child’s sound.

  10. If you place the baby unit on a table or on a low cabinet, do not let the power cord to hang over the edge of the table or worktop. People can stumble into the cables.

  11. Do not place the baby monitor near water, for example bath tub, sink or in wet room/ basement.

  12. Do not immerse the baby monitor, its power cord or any of the product’s parts into water or other liquid.

  13. Do not reach after appliance that has fallen into water. If such accident occurs, you should unplug the supply cord, if it has been connected to the mains power outlet.

  14. Do not place the device where water or any other liquid can drip or splash onto it.

  15. Never use the baby monitor in moist places or close to water.

  16. Do not use the product in highly polluted (dusty) area. This could shorten the life of the device.

  17. Do not place any objects on top of the baby monitor and do not cover it.

  18. Do not cover slots or openings on the unit. They are designed to provide ventilation of the unit and to prevent overheating. Install the product according to the user manual.

  19. Before plugging the adaptor into a power outlet, check if the voltage indicated on the adaptor corresponds to the local mains voltage.

  20. The supply cord should be attached to mains power outlet with the following specifications: 220 –240 V 50/60Hz.

  21. Be careful not to spill food, water or other kind of liquid on the supply cord, if you use the adaptor for the sender/ receiver.

  22. Do not cut or modify any of the parts of the adapter. This may cause risk of injuries during the use of the adapter.

  23. Use only the adapters provided by the manufacturer or importer.

  24. Do not use the adapter if there is damaged cable or plug.

  25. To avoid injury, change the damaged adapter with original one.

  26. To avoid electric shock do not open the bodies of the units of the baby monitor.

  27. Do not use the appliance if it doesn’t work correctly, if it is damaged or if it has been dropped into water. Contact the shop from which you bought the product or the importer to repair the baby unit.

  28. Do not disassemble and do not try to repair the baby unit at home. In case of damage contact an authorized service center or the importer.

  29. Do not use spare parts, which are not the original ones provided by the manufacturer or the importer.

  30. Do not try to modify the product, to repair it by yourself when damaged or to replace any of the parts with such that are not provided from the manufacturer/ importer. This may lead to its malfunction or damage.

  31. Do not store the baby monitor and its adaptor close to direct heat sources – open fires, heaters or cookers.

  32. WARNING:

    • Use and store the appliance under temperatures between 10° to 45° degrees of Celsius.
    • Do not expose the sender or receiver to temperatures that are too low or too high and to direct sunlight.
    • Do not use sharp objects or aggressive detergents to clean the appliance

    Do not forget that you are using public airwaves when using the wireless 2.4GHz Digital Baby Monitor. The sound can be broadcasted to other receiving devices. Conversations, even from rooms near the baby unit, can also be broadcasted.

  35. Warning! To protect your privacy, always turn off the camera and the parent unit, when you are not using them. The parent unit may receive interference from other devices in the 2.4GHz frequency band.

  36. Do not remove the labels and warnings attached to the product! They are important for everyone who uses them!

ADAPTOR AND CHARGING THE BUILT-IN BATTERIES OF THE DEVICES

  1. Before first use charge the batteries of the baby unit and mother unit completely.

  2. The chargers are with the following specifications: Input: 100V – 240V- 50/60Hz; Output: 5V 1A 5.0W. The AC chargers are with low voltage.

  3. Charging:

    • Connect the charger to the designated charging jack.
    • Connect the charger’s plug into the electrical outlet of the main supply of your home. The plug is used to connect the device to the power supply, the device must be easily accessible.
    • We recommend you to leave the devices to charge completely before the next use to in order to prolong their battery life.
      WARNING: The provided chargers are with a special design suitable for this product. They cannot be used for other appliances. You should not use other types of chargers for this baby monitor, which are not provided by the manufacturer/ importer.
  4. Charge the appliances immediately after the light indicator starts flashing in red. After the batteries are completely charged, the light indicator will blink in green.

  5. If you will not use the product for a long time, charge the batteries of both of the units completely before storing them. Then charge the batteries at least once a month to prolong its life.

  6. The built-in batteries cannot be taken out of the product.

  7. If the batteries are damaged or cannot be charged any more, do not try to open the appliance. For consultation and repair contact the shop from which you bought the product or the importer/ distributor.

  8. The batteries are recyclable. If the product is damaged and cannot be used any longer, take it to an official collection point for electronic products’ waste, batteries, chargers. DO NOT throw the product away with household waste. Follow your country’s rules for the separate collection of electrical and electronic products and rechargeable batteries. Dispose of waste of this type only at the designated places. This will be an important and significant contribution to environmental protection and the reduction of the harmful effects of the substances contained in batteries and electronic components on the environment and human health.

USE OF THE PRODUCT

WARNING! CHARGE COMPLETELY BOTH OF THE DEVICES BEFORE FIRST TIME USE!

  1. ON/ OFF button: Press and hold the button for a few seconds to turn on the sender and the receiver. The indicating light will flash in green colour showing that the devices are turned on. They should be away from each other in order to avoid interference in the signal.

  2. Place the sender in the room of the baby. Point the microphone towards the child, e.g. to the baby bed or play area. It should be at least 1 to 2 meters away from the child. If you have plugged the charger into the sender and mains outlet, fully extend the cable to achieve the best possible transmission.
    Plug the adapter into the nearest standard electrical outlet in your home.

  3. Pair the devices with each other: the devices should be paired in the factory. If the mother unit doesn’t receive any signal from the baby unit:

    • Check if both of the devices are completely charged.
    • If they are not, charge them.
  4.  The sender will switch to stand-by mode to save energy if it does not detect sounds in the surrounding area.

  5. Place the receiver in the room you are in.

  6. Press the▲ and ▼ buttons on the parent unit to control the sound volume. Press and hold the ▲ button for a few seconds on the parent unit to turn on the light indicator. If there is sound transmitted from the sender to the receiver the light indicator will flash.

  7. Press the button ▲ with light on the sender to turn on the night light. Press the ▼ button with smaller lamp and a soft flashing light will turn on.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Do not immerse the units or their adapters into water and do not wash under running water.
  2. Do not use cleansing spray and liquid cleansers.
  3. Before cleaning the units, you have to unplug the supply cord from the mains outlet.
  4. Clean the units with soft dry cloth.
  5. If you will not use the baby monitor for a long time, store it and its chargers in a cool and dry place.
  6. Warning! Children should not play with this product! Store it away from children reach.
  7. If the product is damaged and cannot be used anymore, do not throw it away with the household waste. Hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the environment
  8. If you find any damage or missing/ broken parts, stop using the product, until the damages are removed.
  9. Do not try to repair the product by yourself. Contact the shop, from which you bought the product.
  10. Do not step on the power cord and do not pinch it, especially at the connectors, the plug box, and the point where the cord comes out of the device.
  11. Position the devices and power adapters so that to provide them with the necessary ventilation. Do not cover them with clothes, towels, blankets or the like.
  12. Always unplug the devices during lightning storms or if you are not going to use them for a long time.

TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM SOLUTION

1. Hissing sound during use of the baby monitor and it is not plugged

to the charger.

| If the power indicator is flashing in red, charge the battery of the baby monitor.

2. The receiver makes no sound.

| If there are no sounds around the sender (the baby unit), then there will be no signal to the parent unit. In this case the parent unit is in stand-by mode. When there are any sounds in the room, then the parent unit will be activated as well.
3. Bad signal| Check, if the parent unit is within range.
