Introduction
The Carex Bath Transfer Bench expands the seat platform into a lengthy base to help with transfers into and out of the tub while retaining all the benefits of a shower chair. With drainage holes to stop water from gathering and to prevent slipping, the ergonomic backrest and seat both have textured, non-slip surfaces. To keep the bench sturdy, we put wide-based anti-slip tips on our corrosion-resistant legs. Up to 300 lb may be supported by the sturdy plastic and aluminium design. This bath assist will meet the individual demands of many users thanks to its changeable backrest and leg extensions, which allow the seat to be raised from 16 to 20 inches. Put the transfer bench entirely in your tub or shower to use it as a high-end shower chair, or set it half inside and half outside the tub for safe transfers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit in a standard tub?
Yes, this will fit in a standard tub.
Does it come with a back rest?
Yes, it comes with a back rest.
Is this comfortable?
Yes, it is comfortable.
Is this easy to assemble?
Yes, it is easy to assemble.
Will this work on a shower floor?
No, you will need to put it in the tub or shower.
Can I use this outside of the tub or shower?
Yes, you can use it outside of the tub or shower.
How high can a seat go?
Approximately 23 1/2 inches at its tallest. You may adjust the height of all four legs to help water drain into the tub rather than onto the floor. All four legs can be adjusted to accommodate uneven floors. Either end of the bench can have the rail moved there. With this product, we have been able to modify a regular bath to better suit the needs of our elderly mom.
Will this fit in my little shower?
It’s difficult to respond without knowing the size of your shower. This is being used in my tub/shower combination to help my mum recover from hip surgery. It’s doing a good job. We have what I think to be a typical tub/shower combination.
What about a garden tub?
I use it for showering, but you could use it for gardening; the height is the main drawback. 16 to 24 inches may separate the floor from the top of the seat.
What is the total assembly’s width?
The three seats are about 28 inches apart in breadth. The seat alone measures roughly 16 inches deep. It is more like 20 to 21 inches if you measure from the front of the seat to the curve in the back support. The seat was stored in the tub after being turned on its side. It’s rather lightweight, so moving it to the floor when the rest needs a bath or shower is no major deal.
How far apart are the legs from front to back?
At the bottom, there are 16 inches between the front and back legs. Near the seat, it becomes slightly narrower at the top. Does fit over the tub’s side. It saved my husband’s life when he had to transfer from the wheelchair to the shower chair because he couldn’t stand up for 16 weeks.
If the chair doesn’t fit our shower, can it be returned?
On Amazon, everything may be returned. I consider it to be a concern because the chair’s legs may be turned in any direction and they can be adjusted to be of various heights.
Are the legs simply rubber coated or do they include suction cups on the bottom?
There are no foot suction cups on this bench.
Can I exchange this?
As long as it is in brand-new condition, I believe so.
Is the bench in the shower uncomfortable? Has it been given any antibacterial treatment?
Due to a medical condition, my kid utilises this bench while he takes a shower. He has never complained about the discomfort and never sat directly on the bench; instead, he constantly uses a towel. For my child, this bench was a gift from God. I believe it was treated with antibacterial medication. Each time the bench is used, it is cleaned and sprayed with an antibacterial solution.
What far separates the front legs?
Depending on how far out the legs are. At the height I have them at, they are 26-1/2″ tall by 17-1/4″ apart.
