RX-G940 gaming mouse is an input device. It is designed for entering (entering) information into the computer, as well as controlling the operation of the computer.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

PREPARATION TO WORK

  • Connect the gaming mouse to an available USB connector on the PC.
  • After connecting to the USB port, the PC will automatically recognize the device.
  • To use the built-in mouse memory, adjust the buttons and backlight, you need to install the software (downloaded from the website www.sven.fi). Connect the mouse to the free USB port of your PC, run the previously downloaded SVEN RX-G940.exe file to install the driver, follow the installer’s advice.
  • After installation, the program will automatically detect the presence of the mouse. You can call up the control window using the icon in the taskbar or in the Windows system tray. The program is in Russian and English.

Main Window
By default, the keys are configured, as in the image below. There are two buttons for switching Russian-English language respectively.

Customizing Mouse Buttons

In the main window, you can customize the functions of all the mouse buttons. To configure the corresponding button, please, select it in the list on the right. The settings of the right and left mouse buttons allow you to swap them (for example, for left-handed users). By default, the mouse buttons are assigned values, as in the figure above.
To change the mouse buttons function, select the button that you want to reassign by clicking on. A pop-up window will open. Please, find a list box with the functions of the mouse.SVEN RX-G940-Gaming-Optical-Mouse-fig-

Submenu – standard mouse button

  • Left key – emulates clicking on the left key.
  • Right key – emulates clicking on the right key.
  • Middle key – emulates clicking on the mouse wheel.
  • Backward – opens the previous page in the Internet browser.
  • Forward – opens the next page in the Internet browser.

  • Fire key – determines the reaction to clicking the mouse button. It is possible to choose three options (the setting is on the “Advanced” tab).

  • The aiming key – while holding this button, you can activate AIMDPI, which allows you to instantly switch to any pre-configured DPI resolution (the “Advanced” tab).

  • Alternate buttons – activates the “Alterkeys” tab, in which you can reassign the mouse buttons or assign additional functions to the buttons, without losing the basic settings.

  • Polling frequency – switching the mouse polling frequency (125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1000Hz).

  • • Backlight mode – switch mouse backlight modes. There are five modes: random, mixed, sporty, DPI color, off.

  • Switch backlight – turns off and on the backlight.
    DPI – switches the sensor resolution, from the minimum to the maximum (in a circle).

  • DPI + – increase the resolution of the sensor.

  • DPI – – decrease the resolution of the sensor.

  • Reset keypad – resets the default settings.

Media functions

  • Play/Pause – starts / stops the playback of the media file.
  • Stop – stops the playback of the media file.
  • Previous track – go to the previous track.
  • Next track – go to the next track.
  • Volume + – increas the volume.
  • Volume – – decrease the volume.
  • Mute – tturn off the sound.

Internet functions (functions are available in the Internet browser)

  • WWW Home – go to the homepage in the browser.
  • Search – open a search bar (browser, document, search in Windows).
  • WWW Back – go to the link back.
  • WWW Forward – go to the forward link.
  • WWW Stop – cancel the navigation by reference.
  • WWW Refresh – refresh the browser pagec(alternative F5).
  • WWW Favorites – open the list of bookmarks in the browser.

Computer Functions

  • My Computer – open the “My Computer” window.
  • Calculator – start the calculator.
  • E-Mail – starting the mail client.
  • Desktop – curtail all program windows.

Assembly Key

  • Assembly Key – a combination of two or more keys.

Macro

Configure advanced settings
Using the “Advanced” button, the user can configure:
• Hotkey – reaction to clicking the mouse button, “Repeat” – the number of
times the button is pressed, “Time” – the time between pressing the button,

“Continue”.

  • Frequency of polling – frequency with which the mouse will be polled, 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1000Hz are available.
  • Mouse speed – the speed with which the cursor moves across the screen.
  • Double-click speed – the double-click speed.
  • DPI settings – the sensor resolution is available from 200 to 6000 dots per inch, 8 positions, the color of the DPI backlight can be changed by clicking on the diamond on the right.SVEN RX-G940-Gaming-Optical-Mouse-fig- \(11\)

Mouse backlight control
To adjust the mouse’s backlight, click on the “Backlight” buttonSVEN RX-G940

User can adjust color, flicker speed and five backlight modes. The color of the highlight can be changed by clicking on the diamond and selecting the desired color from the palette

Macro
A macro is a sequence of events, consisting of pressing and releasing the keyboard keys, mouse buttons, and the time intervals between themSVEN

The macro editor window is divided into three parts. On the left side of the “PC Macro Name” window is a list of macros created and saved on the PC. To create a macro, right-click in the left window, click “New Macro” in the pop- up window, enter the macro name and click “OK”: the name of the new macro appears in the window on the left. After clicking on the “Record” button, the editor will record keystrokes and mouse and keyboard keystrokes. A single press of a key generates up to four events: interval, press, interval, release. Note that all buttons except the “Stop” button will be disabled

The “Stop” button stops recording the macro.

In the right part of the “Macro Contents” window, a list of all the events of the recorded macro is displayed. To edit the list, right-click, a pop-up window with two items will appear: “Paste” and “Delete”.
The “Delete” key deletes the selected event (highlighted in blue). The “Insert” button allows you to add additional commands from the list on the left: set the delay after or before the macro (delay time in microseconds), set the button forward or backward, add movements along the X and Y axes, forward and backward.
To load created macros into the mouse, you need to right-click in the right window and select “Add to mouse” from the list – the name of the added macro appears in the middle of the window.SVEN RX-G940-Gaming-Optical-Mouse-fig-

Save and load the profile

The user can save the mouse settings profile: all previously configured mouse options can be saved to a file. All settings saved in the file will be saved in the mouse memory.
To save the settings, click the “Save” button. The program prompts you to select the path to save the file. The filename can be any name. To load the settings from the file, click on the “Download” button, select the previously saved file (the extension of the .bin file) of the profile and click Open

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Solution
The mouse is not working. 1.   Disconnect the mouse from the PC and check

connector pins for possible damage. If there is no external damage found and connector pins are OK, connect the mouse to the PC.

2.  Address your nearest authorized service center.
