GENERAL

System Sensor’s Sound Choice™ SP100 Series and V400Series Speakers are for voice and tone signaling. The SP100 Series are high quality speakers and speaker/strobe combinations for evacuation signaling designed to meet UL1480 Fire Standard Specifications. For installations requiring a more compact device fitting to a standard 4″ electrical backbox, the V400 Series speakers provide an unobtrusive profile. Both series feature excellent full-range audio response, dual voltages, easy wattage tap selectability, and a three-year warranty.

  • Surface, semiflush, flush, and ceiling mounting options.

  • No tools needed to change power output level.

  • Strobe options: 1.5 or 15.0 candela UL-1638; or UL-1971/
    ADA version in 15, 15/75, 75 or 110 candela.

  • Peak speaker dBA @ 10 feet (3.048 m) reverberant:
    SP100: 90 @ 4 watts. V400: 84 @ 2 watts.

  • UL listed to Standard 1480.

  • Three-year warranty.

  • • Available in combination with System Sensor ADA and LO/M strobe products.

APPLICATIONS

Ideally suited for hotel/motel rooms, lobbies, corridors, conference rooms, offices, hospitals, dorms, condominiums, and other commercial/industrial applications with low ambient sound levels

CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION

The device has a capacitive input to allow for DC supervision.

NOTE: The strobe is operated as an independent device and requires separate wires from the panel Notification Appliance Circuit (NAC). Select strobe which is compatible with the panel voltage.
