General Description

The Shure UA221DB-RSMA is a bi-directional splitter/combiner which can be used to route the RF signal from a single antenna to 2 inputs, or to connect 2 antennas to a single input.
I mportant Compatibility Information:

• UA221DB-RSMA splitters are intended for use with Shure wireless systems which operate between 2.4 to 2.5 GHz and 5.725 to 5.875 GHz.
• Use with reverse SMA cables only.
• The splitter blocks DC power.
• You can use the splitter to combine 2 antennas to 1 antenna port on the GLXD+ frequency manager. Keep cable runs to under 50 feet to avoid loss and use directional antennas.
• The splitter can’t combine 2 GLXD4R+ receivers to 1 output on the GLXD+ frequency manager.
• The splitter can’t connect 1 pair of antennas to 2 GLXD+ frequency managers.

Installing the UA221DB-RSMA Splitters

Use the two antenna splitters and supplied cables to configure a system in one of the following ways. Antennas must be compatible with the operating frequency range of the
receivers.
Using a Single Pair of Antennas with Two Receivers
Split the signal from 1 pair of antennas to 2 receivers. Using Two Pairs of Antennas for Multi-Room Coverage
Use the UA221DB-RSMA to combine 2 pairs of antennas together to create multiple coverage areas, such as for 2 rooms. For best results, use PA805DB- RSMA directional antennas and keep cable runs under 50 feet to avoid loss.
