Minimum Hardware Requirements
Notebooks must have a DisplayPort over USB Type C port (the USB Type C/DP &
Thunderbolt port) design are able to support the MSI USB-C Docking Station Gen
2; the supported maximum resolution and refresh rate on the external monitors
depend on the design of the display output ports that the connected notebook
has.
Compatible MSI Notebooks
* Note: Advanced features such as One Click Away, PXE WoL, or MAC address
pass-through support are fully supported starting from MSI Notebooks with
Intel 11th Gen Processor and newer gen.

The result is tested under certain conditions and devices, some monitors might not be compatible, if an abnormal display symptom happens such as a flicker or black screen, try to re-connect the docking station or cut off the power to the docking station and power on again to recover from the symptom.
Power Delivery Support
MSI Docking Station Gen 2 supports power delivery up to 100W.
For MSI Notebooks that are bundled with a USB Type C power adapter or the
power adapter is lower than 100W, MSI Docking Station Gen 2 is able to provide
full power to support the system, no additional power adapter is required.
(e.g. Prestige 14 A11SC, Modern B11SB…)
Notebooks that are bundled with a traditional power jack adapter that is higher than 100W, since the power delivery is designed to be a backup power source which helps to extend the battery life under light usage, the notebook itself will need to connect with the original power adapter together with MSI Docking Station Gen 2 in order to run at its full performance.
