SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Please read the instructions carefully before installation and use. Keep the manual safe for future reference.
  • Prior to installing the speakers into any wall, check the structure for weight-bearing ability and avoid contact with any wiring or plumbing that might be behind the surface area. Installing on soft materials or in areas incapable of supporting the speakers’ weight may cause personal injury or damage to the speaker.
  • Make sure the speaker is properly secured to the wall. Please use the proper screws. bolts. or anchors. Failure to do so may cause the speaker to become unsecured and cause potential damages/injuries.
  • When installing the speakers outside, choose areas such as the underside of eaves to avoid strong direct sunlight that may affect the color and life of the speaker enclosure.
  • Use only approved and certified wiring in your installation. do not stretch or place the wire in contact with sharp objects.
  • Prior to removing cables, ensure all power to your amplifier and other components is turned off.
  • Damage to the woofer and tweeter may occur if the speaker is dropped or hit-resulting in no sound or distorted sound.
  • Never overdrive your speakers to the point of distortion and always reduce volume prior to switching input sources.

PREPARATION

The hardware equipment listed below is needed to install the speaker.

PACKING LIST

Ensure that you have received all parts according to the component checklist prior to installation. If any parts are missing or faulty, contact your place of purchase for a replacement.

SPEAKER OVERVIEW

Front View

  1. Grill
  2. Knob
  3. Mounting Bracket

Rear View

  1. Power Indicator

    • Steady red: be starting.
    • Flashing blue: Bluetooth is ready to pair.
    • Steady blue: Bluetooth is connected.
    • Steady green: RCA is connected.
    • Flashing White: restore the device to its original default settings.
  2. Volume Control
    Turn the knob to adjust the volume level.

  3. Bass
    Increase or decrease the low-frequency response. Theo’s position produces a flat response.

    • Control range: -14 dB to +14 dB
  4. Treble
    Increase or decrease the high-frequency response. The D position produces a flat response.

    • Control range: -14 dB to +14 dB
  5. Line In
    Stereo RCA jacks (L/R) for connection to audio equipment such as TV, and DVD players.
    Line Out
    Stereo RCA jacks (L/R) for providing an unbalanced line-level signal to a mixer or a preamp.

  6. Speaker Output
    Binding post for connection to the passive speaker.

  7. Power Switch
    Use the rocker switch to turn the on or off the speaker.

  8. AC Power Inlet
    Connect the supplied power cord.

INSTALLATION

  1. Attach the Mounting Bracket

  2. (A) Aluminum Bracket with Slider Fix the wall plate(A) to the wall with four screws. Then mount the bracket(C) as shown, and slide the block(B) onto the wall plate(A} to secure the bracket(C) with four screws.

  3. (B) U-Shape Steel Bracket
    Hang the bracket on the screw as shown. Then tighten the screws to fix the bracket to the wall.

  4. Wire the Speaker
    Wire the cable and cover the rubber cover as shown.

  5. Attach the Speaker to the Mounting Bracket
    Secure the speaker to the bracket with plastic knobs supplied.

  6. Adjust the Speaker
    Loosen the screws on the slider to tilt the speaker up or down and then tighten the screws again to fix the position.

CONNECTION

Stereo Connection of L/R Pair Speaker
Ensure that the speaker is unplugged from the mains before making any connections. Connect two speakers as shown. Always check to ensure the polarity is correct: L(left) to L, R(right) to R, “+” to”+”, and”-” to ”-“.LUMI-AUDIO-OWM-6BTS-Outdoor-and-Indoor-Wall-Speaker-fig-

Note:
Anytime you note distortion, reduce the volume to a lower setting. Never allow your speaker/amplifier to be driven into “clipping”. Otherwise, the speakers may be damaged. Damage caused by operating the speakers at distorted volume levels is not covered by the warranty.

Remote Control (Nate: CR2025 lithium coin cell batte111 included.)

  • A-Power On/Off
    Press to turn on/off the speaker.

  • B-Mute
    Press to tum off the sound temporarily, and press again to turn the sound back.

  • C-Volume+/
    Press to increase or decrease the sound level. You will hear a beep when the volume reaches the highest or Lowest level.

  • D-Treble+/-
    Press to increase or decrease the high frequency response. You will hear a beep when the treble reaches the maximum or minimum value.

  • E Bass +/-
    Press to increase or decrease the low frequency response. You will hear a beep when the bass reaches the maximum or minimum value.

  • F Reset
    Press and hold to resume the speaker to the default setting. All parameters will bereset to default values: volume is 26; the sound effect is flat; treble and bass is 0; Automatic Mode.

  • G EQ
    Press repeatedly to select the sound effect: (1) Flat, (2) Classical. (3) Pop (4) Rock, (5) Jazz, (6) Vocal Enhanced.

  • I Previous
    Short press for the previous track.

  • J Play/Pause

  • K Next
    Short press for the next track.

Note:
Only the Bluetooth input is activated, and the PREV, NEXT, and RESET keys can work.

Tips:
The infrared remote control has an effective scape of the operating range which is less than 3m(10 ft) and at 60 degrees angle left or right away from the system.

Connection

Bluetooth Pairing
Ensure the speaker is connected to the power supply and turned on. Once the speaker has powered up for 10 seconds, the power indicator flashes blue indicating that the speaker is ready to pair. Any Bluetooth device (such as phones, tablets, laptops, and the mare) is available for pairing. Once Bluetooth has paired successfully. the power indicator will become steady blue.

  1. Open the Settings menu and select Bluetooth.
  2. Turn on Bluetooth and search devices.
  3. Click “BT Speaker” a pair it with your device.

Note:

  • One device can only connect ar control one Bluetooth speaker at a time.
  • If your device prompts a pairing code, type in the PIN code.
  • If pairing fails the first time, restart all the equipment and then follow the above instructions. If trouble persists, press the “reset button” located on the front of the speaker or on the remote control.
  • If you are unable to reconnect a previously connected device, remove the “BT Speaker” from the list of paired devices, then follow the previous instructions again.
  • The Bluetooth connection will be lost if the distance between the speaker and the Bluetooth device exceeds 10m (32.8ft.).

RCA input (Connect to a CD/DVD Player)

  1. Connect to the speakers using a dual RCA left/right cable.
  2. Once RCA has connected successfully, the power indicator will become steady green.

Automatic Mode

  • Bluetooth Input has priority when Bluetooth input and RCA input are connected simultaneously.
  • After Bluetooth stops playing for around 10 seconds. the source mode will change to RCA Mode and when if an audio source is sensed in the RCA input the power indicator will become steady green. Source mode will automatically change to Bluetooth Mode when the Bluetooth device starts playing.
  • You need to wait around 30 seconds to activate the RCA mode if you have restarted the speaker and no Bluetooth device is paired/connected.

Note: The first time the speaker is powered on it will start in automatic mode.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  • Turn off the power to the speaker when unused for long periods of time.
  • Ensure all equipment is turned off prior to deaning. Surfaces and cabinets need only occasional dusting/cleaning. Never use chemicals or solvents as they may damage the surface. Always clean using a dry doth.
  • Never touch the speaker drivers.
