Portable Bluetooth® Audio System

Greetings   and Welcome to the House of   Marleyb
We are honored you have selected Bag of Riddim to become part of your music experience. Bag of Riddim is
is a portable,two-way, stereo sound system which works with Bluetooth® devices connected wirelessly and hundreds of other devices
via the auxiliary input. The system uses two high-output, long-throw 4.5” (114mm) woofers in a ported enclosure, two 1”
(25mm) tweeters and a powerful amplifier. The system includes a convenient REWIND™ carry bag composed of reclaimed
hemp, organic cotton, and recycled plastic bottles (RPET). Additional bag options make it easy to change the look of your
Bag of Riddim. Check out all of the options at www.thehouseofmarley.com.

Powering Your Bag of Riddim
Bag of Riddim can be powered by a wall outlet, six (6) D-cell batteries (not included) or an optional
12VDC car power outlet (not included).
Using a Wall Outlet

  1.  Insert the AC power supply cord into the Bag of  Riddim.

  2.  Insert wall plug cord connector into the power supply.

  3.  Insert wall plug into an appropriate wall outlet.

Using Batteries
Note: Use only high quality alkaline batteries.

  1.  Remove the battery door on the bottom of your Bag of Riddim by loosening the two screws with a coin or flat-head screwdriver.

  2.  Install six (6) D-cell batteries in the orientations shown on the floor of the battery compartment.

  3. Replace the battery door making sure the two screws are securely tightened.

Using a Car Power Outlet (Not Included)
Note: For more information on ordering a car power adaptor, contact The House of Marley. Contact information can be found in the warranty section of this instruction book.

  1. Plug the power cord into your Bag of Riddim.

  2. Plug the car power plug into a car power outlet.

Connecting Your Music Device(s)

Pairing Mode (Blinking Blue LED)
Bag of Riddim automatically goes into reconnect mode for 5 seconds as soon as you turn it on (flashing BLUE led). It then switches to auxiliary mode (RED led). You can pair a new device to Bag of Riddim by holding the for 3 seconds.
Note: Holding the for 3 seconds will kick off the device currently connected to Bag of Riddim and g into Pairing Mode.

Connected Mode (Solid Blue LED)

Use your Bluetooth-enabled device to pair to Bag of Riddim. Bag of Riddim does not require a pairing password. Once paired, the LED will glow solid blue.
Note: Bag of Riddim will automatically pair with the last device connected to it when turned ON (when possible).

Connecting other devices

The auxiliary input on the front of the Bag of Riddim allows you to connect other audio devices to the system. Simply connect your device to the input on the Bag of Riddim using the 3.5mm stereo mini cable (included)

Connecting multiple devices

When a device is connected to Bluetooth and another device is connected via auxiliary input, the color of the indicates the source. If the LED glows blue, the Bluetooth device will play. When red, the auxiliary input will play. Toggle between inputs by briefly pressing the .

Easy To Use

When the system is powered and a device is connected, you are ready to enjoy your Bag of Riddim.

  1.  Touch and hold the Power icon to turn Bag of Riddim on. Touch and hold the power icon again to turn your Bag of Riddim off. The red LED on the power icon indicates if the Bag of Riddim is on.

  2.  Increase or decrease the volume on the Bag of Riddim by touching and/or holding the – and + buttons until the desired volume is reached. You can also adjust the system volume using the controls on your music source.

Charginr Deviceg You

A convenient USB port is available on the front of Bag of Riddim to charge your devices while it is on. Use the cable that came with your device to charge.
NOTE: Not all devices are compatible with the USB port. If your device does not charge, use the power adapter that came with it.

Important Safety Information

  1.  Follow and keep these instructions.

  4.  Clean only with a dry cloth.
  5. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

  7.  Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plug, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
  8.  Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
    1.  Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
  9.  Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
  10. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled, subject to the provisions of the Australian Consumer Law, to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or\ damage. You are also entitled, subject to the provisions of the Australian Consumer law, to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fall to
be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This is not a complete statement of your legal rights as a consumer.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under theConsumer Guarantees Act 1993. This guarantee applies In addition to the conditions and guarantees Implied by that legislation.
THE WARRANTY
HoMedlcs sells its products with the Intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and workmanship under normal use and service. In the  unlikely event that your HoMedlcs product proves to be faulty within 2 year from the date of purchase due to workmanship or materials only, we will replace It at our own expense, subiect to the terms and conditions of this guarantee. The warranty period Is limited to 3 months from the date of purchase for products used commercially/professionally

TERMS ANO CONDITIONS:
In addition to the rights and remedies that you have under the Australian Consumer Law, Consumer Guarantees Act of New Zealand or any other applicable Jaw and without excluding such rights and remedies warranty against defects:

  4.  This Warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to suppliers.

  5. Even when we do not have to replace the goods, we may decide to do so anyway. In some cases, we may decide to substitute the goods with a similar alternative product of our choosing. All such decisions are at\ our absolute discretion

  6. All such replaced or substituted goods continue to receive the benefit of this Additional Warranty for the time remaining on the original warranty\ period (or three months, whichever is the longest).

  9. This warranty is only valid and enforceable on Australia and New Zealand.
