niko 550-00557 HVAC Interface
Introduction
The HVAC interface (CoolMaster) controls a VRV, VRF or multi-split air
conditioning system (HVAC system) via the Niko Home Control installation.
Several zones or rooms can be connected to the HVAC interface.
Each zone or room must be fitted with a Niko Home Control HVAC thermostat. The
HVAC interface is equipped with a serial connection port that you must connect
to the Niko Home Control Gateway using the cables provided. There is also a
connector used to connect the HVAC bus of the HVAC system. The display on the
HVAC interface provides extra information about the indoor units that are
connected. In order to be able to program the zones or rooms, you need the
correct addresses of the indoor units on the HVAC bus. Different HVAC
interfaces are available for different HVAC systems. Contact your HVAC
installer. At www.niko.eu (Applications > Niko Home Control), you will find
more information about the supported HVAC systems.
