Installation Guide
Removal
Remove silicone cover from the hard frame starting at one corner.
Installation
- Insert iPad into hard frame.
- Insert the corner of the hard frame nearest the camera into the silicone cover.
- Insert the rest of the hard frame into the silicone cover.
- Insert each silicone tab tightly into its corresponding slot in the hard frame to ensure the case is water-resistant.
Cleaning Instruction
We recommend cleaning the case after every use cycle. Most hospital-grade disinfectantwipes with high alcohol concentrate are safe to use on the aXtion Bold case. A few that we recommend are:
- Sani-Cloth AF3
- Cavi-Wipes
- Clorox Healthcare Bleach Germicidal Wipes
- Oxivir TB
Follow these steps:
- Clean the back cover with a hospital-grade wipe, using a small stroking motion. Pay special attention to the crevices.
- Use a new hospital-grade wipe to clean the front cover and screen protector.
- Let the case air dry before using.
Internal cleaning may be done as needed following these steps
- Remove the tablet from the case and set aside.
- Clean the inside back cover with a hospital-grade wipe, using a small stroking motion. Pay special attention to the crevices.
- Use a new hospital-grade wipe to clean the inside front cover and screen protector.
- Let the case air dry before putting the tablet into the case.
- Hospital-grade disinfectant wipes may have more detailed instructions for use. Please refer to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- These instructions are only for cleaning cases by The Joy Factory. To clean the tablet, please refer to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Security Cable Slot Installation Guide
- Align the plastic template onto the back of the device ensuring the back camera opening aligns correctly with the tablet.
- Using the included alcohol pad clean the surface of the device where the locking plate will install. The VHB adhesive adheres to the tablet properly when the surface is clean and dry.
- Apply the locking plate onto the tablet. Use an object to apply pressure and allow the adhesive to cure for 48 hours. Then remove the plastic template.
- Install the tablet into the case by first installing the tablet into the plastic frame ensuring the raised camera is inserted UNDER the camera lens. Then, install the plastic frame and tablet into the silicone cover (reference the case

- Insert the security cable into the security cable slot
