IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
BEFORE USING THE ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, THE FOLLOWING BASIC PRECAUTIONS
SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED:

CONTROL PANEL
FUNCTIONS
START / PAUSE STOP button
START: Press the START button once to start a program. The indicator will light up, the colon in the time display begins to flash and the program will start. All other buttons will become inactive except the START button after a program has begun. PAUSE: Pressing the START button while a program is running will pause the program. If no other selection is made within 3 minutes, the program will continue processing until the program is completed. STOP: Press the START button for 3 seconds to cancel a program, a beep will be heard, which means that the program has finished or stopped.
MENU button
Press the menu button to cycle through the program numbers until your desired program number is displayed on the LCD panel. There are 19 programs to choose from: Basic Bread, Express Bread, French Bread, Whole-Wheat Bread, Sweet Bread, Multigrain Bread, Gluten Free, Cheese Bread, Raisin Bread, Brioche, Maple-Pecan Bread, Sourdough Bread, Italian Bread, Dough, Knead, Rice Pudding, Jam, Yogurt, Bake.
CRUST COLOR button
Press CRUST COLOR button to select your desired setting: Light, Medium, or Dark crust. CRUST COLOR is only adjustable for programs 1-10, 13 and 19.
WEIGHT button
Press the WEIGHT button to choose your desired gross weight (1 LB, 1.5 LB, 2
LB). WEIGHT is only adjustable for programs 1 – 10

Notes:
- Set the delay TIMER after selecting program MENU, WEIGHT, and CRUST
- Do not use the delay TIMER function with recipes that include dairy or other ingredients, such as eggs, milk, cream, or

FRUIT CYCLE
When the arrow on the LCD display moves to FRUIT cycle, the bread maker will
beep 10 times during the kneading cycle. This will let you know when to lift
the lid and add any additional ingredients, such as dried fruit, nuts, seeds,
cheese and jalapeño chiles into the Bread Pan, if desired.
Note: Refer to each program recipe for the time when ingredients need
to be added.
KEEP WARM
After baking program is complete, the bread machine will beep three times and
shift to KEEP WARM setting for 1 hour. The timer on the LCD display will show
“0:00”. To cancel the Keep Warm process, press the START button for 3 seconds.
TIP: Remove bread from Bread Pan immediately after program is complete
to prevent crust from becoming too dark.

BEFORE FIRST USE
- Clean all the parts according to “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE”. Note: Do not use scouring pads or metal utensils in bread pan since they may damage the non-stick
- Set the bread maker on BAKE mode and bake empty for about 10 minutes. Then let it cool down and clean all detachable parts again. The Bread Maker may emit a little smoke and/or odor when you turn it on for the first This is normal and will subside after the first or second use. Make sure the Bread Maker has sufficient ventilation.
- Dry all parts thoroughly before assembling and turning bread maker on.
USING YOUR BREAD MAKER
- Using the handle on the Bread Pan, turn the Bread Pan counter-clockwise and then pull it out of the Bread
Note: It is highly recommended that the Bread Pan is filled with ingredients outside the bread maker so that any accidental spillage is not ignited by the heating elements.
- Push the Kneading Blade onto the drive shaft inside the Bread (Figure 4)
- Add the ingredients to the Bread Pan in order listed in the First, add the liquids, sugar, and salt; then the flour; and last the yeast.
- Carefully measure and add ingredients to the Bread Pan in the EXACT order given in the
NOTE: Make a small indentation on the top of flour with finger, add yeast

TIP: Pre-measure all ingredients, including add-ins (nuts, fruits),
prior to beginning.

Press the WEIGHT button to move the arrow to 1LB, 5LB, 2LB (WEIGHT is not selectable for programs 11 – 19).

Press the CRUST button to move the arrow to desired setting: Light, Medium, Dark crust (CRUST is not adjustable in programs 11, 12, 14 – 18).

If desired, set the delay TIMER button. Press + and – buttons to increase the program time shown on the LCD (This delay TIMER function is not selectable for programs 5, 15 – 17 and 19). Note: Do not use the feature when using dairy products and eggs. This step may be skipped if you want the bread maker to start working immediately.

Press the START button once to start If delay TIMER was activated, Kneading Blade will not mix ingredients until program is set to begin.

If you have selected a program that needs to add ingredients such as dried fruits, nuts, seeds, cheese etc., the bread maker will beep 10 times during the Fruit Cycle to notify you when it’s time to add the (Refer to each program recipe for the time when ingredients need to be added). Open the lid and sprinkle the ingredients into the Bread Pan. Be very careful to make sure all the ingredients go into the Bread Pan only, then close the lid.

Once the program is complete, three beeps will be heard and the bread maker will begin the KEEP WARM setting for 1 You can press START button for 3 seconds to stop the process and KEEP WARM setting will end. Unplug the power cord and then open lid using oven mitts.

Using oven mitts, carefully turn the Bread Pan counterclockwise to unlock and lift up using the handle to remove from the bread
Caution: The Bread Pan and bread may be very hot! Always handle with care.
- Using oven mitts, turn the Bread Pan upside down (with the Bread Pan handle folded down) onto a wire cooling rack or clean cooking surface and gently shake until bread falls
Note: You may use a non stick spatula to gently loosen the sides of the bread from the Bread Pan.
- Let the bread cool for about 20 minutes before It is recommended slicing bread with a serrated or electric knife.
POWER INTERRUPTION
In the event of a power outage, if power is restored within 10 minutes the process of making bread will continue automatically. If the interruption time is longer than 10 minutes, the bread maker will not continue running and the LCD display will revert back to the default setting. If the dough has started rising, discard the ingredients in the bread pan and start over. If the dough has not entered the rising phase when the power was stopped you can press the START button again to continue the program from the beginning.
WARNING DISPLAY
”HHH” -This warning means that the temperature inside of the Bread Pan is too high (see below Figure 1). Stop the program, unplug the power cord, open the top lid, and let the bread maker cool down completely for 10-20 minutes before restarting. ”EE0” -This warning means that the temperature sensor is disconnected (see below figure 2). Stop the program, unplug the power cord. Please bring the bread maker to the nearest authorized service agent for examination, repair or electrical /mechanical adjustment.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the power before cleaning. Do not immerse cord, plug, or housing in any liquid. Allow bread maker to cool down completely before cleaning.
- To clean the Kneading Blade: Remove Kneading Blade from Bread Pan and clean with warm soapy water. Dry completely before returning to Bread If Kneading Blade is difficult to remove from Bread Pan, add warm water to bottom of Bread Pan and let soak 5 minutes to loosen.
- To clean the Bread Pan: Remove Bread Pan from bread maker by turning counterclockwise and lift up by the Add warm, soapy water into the Bread Pan and gently scrub with a sponge until clean. Dry completely before returning to bread maker. Do not use any sharp or abrasive agents in order to protect the nonstick coating.
- To clean the housing and top lid: After use, allow bread maker to cool completely. Use a damp cloth to wipe lid, housing, baking chamber, and interior of viewing Do not use any abrasive cleaners for cleaning, since this will degrade the high polish of the surface. Never immerse the housing into water for cleaning.

specifying item, date purchased, and cost of item. A gift receipt with date of

for household use only. Any commercial use voids the warranty.
This warranty covers the original retail purchaser or gift recipient. During
the applicable warranty period within normal household use, we will repair or
