This appliance contains a Photo Plasma/ UVC generator.
Unintended use of the appliance or damage to the housing may result in the escape of dangerous UVC radiation. UVC radiation may, even in little doses, cause harm to the eyes and skin.
Appliances that are obviously damaged must not be operated.
Read the maintenance instructions before opening the appliance.
The appliance must be disconnected from the supply before replacing the Photo Plasma/ UVC generator.

  1. Do not use any accessories unless it is recommended in this manual; otherwise, warranty will be void.
  2. After unpacking, check the product for any damage and if all accessories are included.
  3. Usage of this product by children and people with disabilities should be supervised.
  4. If a fault occurs, unplug the power cord immediately . Do not operate the air purifier if it is defective.
  5. The air purifier should be repaired by authorized service centres, as repair by non-authorized party may cause safety issue.
  6. If the power cord is damaged, please contact the authorized service centre and have qualified technicians to replace the cord. Do not replace the cord on your own as it may be dangerous.

  • Do not use the air purifier while spraying pesticides. Do not use the air purifier near cigarettes, incense, or other spark-generating items. Do not use in areas with high humidity or where the air purifier may become wet such as in the bathroom.

  • Do not operate the air purifier without installing the filters.

  • Please use only the power supply voltage indicated on the rating label.

  • Please unplug the power cord when cleaning or not using the air purifier in case of electric shock or fire because of short circuit.

  • Please be careful when cleaning the air purifier. Strong corrosive detergents can damage the surface of the air purifier.

  • Do not use the air purifier if power cord or plug is damaged or the power socket outlet is loose.

  • Do not block the air inlet / outlet.

  • Do not wash and reuse the composite carbon filter mesh.

  • Hold the plug when unplugging the power cord and do not pull the cord. Otherwise it may result in electric shock or fire because of short circuit.

  • Clear the dust on the power plug regularly.

  • Use only soft cloth to clean the surface of the air purifier, otherwise it may damage or scratch the unit itself.

  • Do not place air purifier near any heat sources (wall mounted heater or area near flammable gases).

  • While moving the air purifier, hold the handle on the back of the main body. If you hold the front cover while moving, it may fall off from the main body and cause injury.

  • If this air purifier causes interference to radio or television receiver, please try one or more of the following measures to correct the interference:

    • Re-adjust the antenna direction on the TV.
    • Move the air purifier further away from the radio / television receiver.
    • Connect the air purifier’s power supply and the TV or radio’ power supply to different power outlets.
    • For assistance, please contact your nearest dealer or an experienced radio / TV technician.
  • Do not use alcohol or organic solvents to wipe and clean the air purifier as it may damage the air purifier or trigger electrical shock, causing damage, fire etc..

  • This device should not be operated by people with disabilities or children without supervision.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power ON/OFF: Touch ” “ button to turn on/ off
  2. Purify: Touch “ ”to activate/ shut down PhotoPlasma/ UVC purifying function. When turned on, PhotoPlasma/ UVC purification function will be set according to the last shutdown setting
  3. Fan Speed: Touch“ ”button to adjust fan speed in the following sequence: Level 1-2-3-4-5 . The fan will go back to Level 4 after 60 minutes operation at the speed of Level 5
  4. Timer: Press “ ” button to select the time required in the following sequence : 1H>2H>3H>4H>5H>6H>7H>8H>9H>10H> 11H>12H>0H
  5. Auto: Touch “ ” button to start/ end the AUTO mode
  6. Sleep: Touch“ ”button to start/ end the SLEEP mode
  7. Child Lock: Hold “ ”button for 5 seconds to lock the buttons and avoid misoperation by children

Usage

Before Use

Unpack the filters and install them properly into the air purifier before use.

  1. While using the air purifier, place at least 2 meters away from other electronic appliances that emit electromagnetic waves (such as, TV, radio,  clock) to prevent interference.
  2. Do not place the air purifier near curtains and other objects that may interfere with the air inlet or outlet, otherwise it may cause malfunction.
  3. Do not place the air purifier where temperature may change vastly. Its operating temperature is 0–35℃.
  4. Place the air purifier in a secured and well ventilated area. If the air purifier is placed on a thick carpet, it may vibrate slightly.
  5. Do not place the air purifier where cookng fume may generate (such as kitchen).
  6. Ensure there is enough space around the air purifier.
  7. Place the air purifier where air can flow naturally. This allows PhotoPlasma/ UVC and negative ions to spread evenly.
Filter Removal
  1. Remove the filters from plastic bag before use and open the front cover. (Fig.1)
  2. Remove the pre-filter by pulling it out. (Fig. 2)
  3. Remove the composite carbon filter meshs by pulling them out holding the handles. (Fig.2)
Filter Installation
  1. Install the composite carbon filter meshs: remove the plastic bag, place the filter inside with the handles facing out. (Fig. 3)
  2. Install pre-filter: place the pre-filter in the air purifier where 6 fittings click into place. (Fig. 3)
  3. Install the front cover: insert the bottom tabs into the slots at the lower part and close the front cover until the magnets pull the cover closed. (Fig.4)

Operation

  • Connect the provided power cord to AC supply voltage indicated on the rating label and press“ ”to turn on/ off.

  • Press ” ” to activate PhotoPlasma/ UVC Purifying Function. Press ” ” again
    to shut down the function.

  • Press ” ” button to adjust the fan speed manually for Level 1-2-3-4-5, Level 5 fan speed will automatically switch back to Level 4 after running for 60 minutes.

  • Press ” ” button to select the time : 0H to 12H. When the air purifier is on, the selected time is set to auto shut down. When the air purifier is off, the selected time is set to auto turn on.

  • Press “ ” to start/ exit AUTO mode .

  • Press “ ” button to start/ exit SLEEP mode.

  • Press “ ” button for 5 seconds to start/ exit child LOCK mode to avoid any hazard to children.

  • + Filter Reset: After filter replacement, reset the filter’s lifetime counter by pressing“ ” and “ ”simultaneously for 3 seconds.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Turn off and unplug the power cable before cleaning / replacing filters.

  1. Cleaning Care
    • Wipe the product body with a soft cloth.
    • For tougher stains, clean it with a soft cloth soaked with detergent water.
  2. Filter Care
  3. Both “AUTO” and “TIMER” buttons flashing indicates it is time for filter replacement. However, the frequency of filter replacement varies depending on environment. It is suggested to clean the filters every month. If the filters are soiled or have a bad odour, please replace the filters immediately.
  4. For optimal performance, composite carbon filter mesh can be cleaned with a vacuum to extend its lifetime. (Suggest to clean it every month)

The lifetime of the filters will be possibly shortened if the environment is heavily polluted or more smokers are involved.
Please dispose the used filters as non-combustible item.

3. Pre-filter can be rinsed with water and reused after drying completely.
  1. Cleaning and Replacing of PhotoPlasma/ UVC Lamp (Please refer to the Appendix for the correct procedure)

    • If stains are found on PhotoPlasma/ UVC Lamp, remove the lamp from the machine first and clean it with soft cloth soaked with detergent water. After cleaning, reinstall the lamp.

    • For optimal performance, it’s suggested to replace PhotoPlasma/ UVC Generator once
      a year.

    • If replacement of PhotoPlasma/ UVC Lamp is needed, please make sure that the lamp is installed properly.

Precaution: When cleaning or replacing the PhotoPlasma/ UVC Lamp, please handle the lamp by the white ceramic side on the ends. Do not touch the glass part
of PhotoPlasma/ UVC Lamp with bare hands.

Troubleshooting

Symptom Possible Causes and Solutions
Air purifier does not turn on
  1. Check if the power cord is well plugged in.
  2. Check if the front cover is installed properly.

Airflow from outlet is weakened

|

  1. The plastic bag for filters has not been removed; remove the plastic bag and reinstall the filters.
  2. Other items block the inlet/ outlet; clear the items.
  3. Clean or replace the filters.

Air purifier does not improve indoor air quality significantly

|

  1. Filters are not installed; install the filters.
  2. Doors or windows are opened frequently so that it takes more time than expected for device to purify the indoor air.
  3. Air purifier is placed in a small place or with obstacles nearby which affects the purifying result.
  4. Clean or replace the filters.

Abnormal smell comes out of the air outlet|

  1. Heavy indoor air pollution because of a lot of smokers, dust or odours; It’s recommended to enhance air exchange.
  2. Clean or replace the filters.

PhotoPlasma/ UVC Lamp does not light up|

  1. Check if the PhotoPlasma/ UVC Purifying Function has been activated.
  2. PhotoPlasma/ UVC Lamp is out of order. Please replace the PhotoPlasma/ UVC Lamp.

Notice: If the problem persists after checking the above troubleshooting, please contact your local service centre. Do not disassemble the unit yourself.

What is covered: All parts defective in material and workmanship.

  • For how long: One year from the purchase date.
  • What we will do: Repair or replace any defective parts.
  1. Contact your sales representative or dealer or call BIOZONE at +44 (0) 1392 860 862 ( Headquarters/ EMEA) for specific return and shipping instructions.
  2. Pack the product in its original carton and in the same manner you received (or identical as possible).
  3. Return the product with proof of purchase.
  4. Label and ship the unit, freight prepaid, to the address provided.
  5. Place any necessary return authorization number prominent on the outside of the carton.

Other Terms and Conditions:
The provisions of this warranty are in lieu of any other written warranty, whether expressed or implied, written or oral, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The manufacturer’s maximum liability shall not exceed the actual purchase price paid by you for the product. In no event shall the manufacturer be liable for specific, incidental, consequential or indirect damages.
