INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
SC12W63KA LED 360 Degree Downlight
PLEASE FIND A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN FOR INSTALLATION.
Please read the instructions before you install and use the luminaire.
WARNING – Risk of fire or electric shock. LED lamp installation requires
knowledge of luminaries electrical system. If not qualified, do not attempt
installation. Contact a qualified electrician.
WARNING – To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to
edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects.
WARNING – Risk of Electric Shock: Disconnect power or circuit breaker
before installing or servicing. Do not make or alter any open holes in an
enclosure of wiring or electrical components during lamp installation. Do not
use electric generator to test the LED lamps. Please avoid using the LED lamps
in an environment where there is smoke, sulfur or other corrosive substances.
If used in such an environment, make sure the LED lamps are well protected by
an enclosed lampshade with material that is either glass, semiglass or semi-
metallic. Surface of the lampshade should not have any covering that prevents
heat dissipation. If using existing lamp holders, installer should not
disconnect lead wires from the lamp holders and make new connections at
terminals. Instead, cut lead wires away from lamp holder and make new
connection to lead wires using approved connectors. Added weight of the device
may cause instability of a free-standing portable luminaire. Use only with a
portable luminaire that has a shade. This lamp employs light emitting diode
technology and unlike tungsten/halogen lamps does not require a barrier. This
device is not intended for use with emergency exits or for emergency lighting.
Suitable for enclosed luminaires. Suitable for damp locations.
WARNING – RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. DISCONNECT MAIN POWER AT FUSE OR
CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLING OR SERVICING THE FIXTURE.
