Component description: Water Pump: Used to oxygenate plant roots. Germination Covers: Used to create a greenhouse effect to allow seeds to germinate faster.
Basket Closure: Used to close the baskets and prevent dust/light/ harmful substances from entering the water tank in case any of the baskets on the tray are not planted. Water Drain Plug: Used to easily drain the water in the water tank during nutrient water change and Smart Garden cleaning. After the water in the reservoir is completely drained, the plug should be firmly inserted and ensure that the gasket is in place.
Water level indicator: It is the mechanism that indicates the water level in the water tank. As the water level increases, the indicator inside the buoy tube will rise to the tray surface and move into the water tank as the water level drops. To get the best out of your appliance, please read the manual carefully and keep it, as you might need it later.

IMPORTANT WARNINGS

  • Check whether the voltage written on your appliance is suitable for the voltage value of the area you are in. Our company cannot be held responsible for malfunctions caused by any voltage differences and therefore, malfunction will be out of warranty.
  • Your appliance is designed for domestic use only. Please do not it use for commercial or industrial purposes. Otherwise, it will be treated out of warranty.
  • Only use your appliance with its own adapter. Our company cannot be held responsible for the damages that may occur due to the use of an unsuitable adapter and the malfunction will be treated out of the scope of the warranty.
  • Insect infestation can be observed in unsuitable environments.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and over and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be made by children without supervision.
  • Do not use this device near bathtubs, shower trays or other containers containing water.
  • Do not use this appliance near water.
  • The product should be used as specified in the user manual. Can cause injury if used incorrectly.
  • LED lights should NEVER be looked at with the naked eye at close range and/or for a long time. Failure to do so may result in partial or permanent vision loss.
  • To prevent damage to your appliance, please do not use extension cables that do not provide enough current.
  • NEVER immerse your appliance in water or any other liquid, and do not use it near containers filled with water or any other liquid. You can clean the outer surface of your appliance with a dry or damp cloth when you are not using it.
  • Never touch your machine that falls into water or other liquid. Unplug it immediately and take it to Arzum Authorized Service to have it checked before using it.
  • If the cord or the plug of your appliance is out of order or damaged due to a fall or any other reason, do not use the appliance. Do not open or repair it yourself, take it to Arzum Authorized Service. Take care to use only original spare parts on your device.
  • Please avoid actions that may damage the cord and plug of your appliance. Do not carry it by holding the cord, to unplug, hold at its plug; NEVER try to unplug it by pulling it from the cord. Do not wrap the cable around the appliance.
  • Take care to use only original spare parts on your device. When the device is used with a part other than the original spare parts, it will be excluded from the warranty. • DO NOT attach any accessories belonging to other products to your appliance.

POSITIONING

  • The smart garden is designed for indoors, so do not put it outside (balcony, etc.).
  • Do not expose to direct sunlight, the grow lights on the smart garden are designed to allow you to grow plants even when the ambient light is minimal, so it does not need additional sunlight.
  • In winter, cold air coming from the window edges can damage the plants and the appliance.
  • Make sure you put the smart garden on a flat surface
  • Do not place the appliance directly in front of/next to/under/across a heater/radiator/cooker or air conditioner, plants will be damaged in very cold or very hot environments.

Download the Vahaa mobile app from the AppStore or PlayStore.

  • Before opening the application, make sure that your Wi-fi connection and your phone’s Bluetooth connection are turned on.
  • Log in with your user name and password through the application you downloaded to your phone. If you are setting up for the first time, you can become a free member from “Create New Account”.
  • Press the on/off (power) button on the Smart Garden. After pressing the button, your appliance will start working.
  • Follow the instructions in the mobile application to put your device in pairing mode and continue with the connection process.
  • Enter the modem name and password for the Wi-fi connection.
  • When the connection is completed, you will reach the main screen of the mobile application you downloaded to your phone.

NOTE: You may not be able to connect at the first time due to changes in the manufacturer or user settings on your phone. In this case, we recommend that you consider the following steps. If you still cannot establish the connection, you can visit www.arzum.com.tr/ for detailed information.

5. To connect you phone to the smart garden, go to your phone’s  Bluetooth settings and find the Bluetooth name, which is the serial number of your smart garden,  and press the pair button.| 6. 9. Pairing is complete.| 10. Before starting,check if there is an update available.| 11. After the updates are complete, press the continue button.| 12. Final step, give your smart garden name. Now you’re ready to plant.

ARZUM X VAHAA GARDEN CONNECTION PROBLEMS
In case you cannot pair your Smart Garden;

  1. Make sure your Bluetooth settings are turned on
  2. Make sure your modem is 2.4GHz frequency compatible.
  3. Your modem password must comply with the WPA2 encryption protocol. Password must be at least 8 characters long. Password must contain at least 1 uppercase and lowercase letter, number, and special characters. 4-) Your modem name must not contain spaces.
  4. Check your internet connection.

ARZUM VAHAA SMART GARDEN RESET
To reset your Smart Garden if the connection problem persists; Press and hold all the keys (  and On/Off) on your Smart Garden at the same time. Within 10 seconds, the warning lights of your Smart Garden will start to flash white. Remove your previously paired Smart Garden from your phone’s  Bluetooth settings.

VAHAN KİT TANIMLAMA
Vahan Kit must be identified in the application in order to follow the plant development through the Vahaa Mobile Application. After pairing your App and Smart Garden, follow the steps below to identify the Vahaa Kit. You can get information about the current status of your plants and control your humidity and temperature values on the main screen. You can follow the steps you need to do by clicking the “Notifications” tab. Notifications will keep coming automatically.

1. After your mobile application and Smart Garden are successfully matched, press the Sow button on the main screen.| 2. After giving the relevant permissions, read the QR Code in the Arzum x Vahaa Kit by following the instructions on the screen and completing the procedures.| 3. Scanning is completed, now our plants are identified in your mobile application.

ARZUM X VAHAA KIT GROWING PROCESS
After identifying your Arzum x Vahaa Kits to the mobile application, the Vahaa Mobile Application will guide you according to the kit you prefer. Since the growing adventure of each kit is different, you can refer to the plant growing guides available in the kit, on our website and in our mobile application for the most up-to-date growing process. In parallel with the current user guides, you can follow the future notifications through the mobile application and you can do your growing in a healthy way. General Process of Growing Experience for Arzum x Vahaa Kit Green Leaf Plants

  • Unplug your garden and disconnect it from the adapter connection.

  • If you have grown before, make sure that there is no water or nutrients in the water tank from the previous growth.

  • Fill the water tank with drinking water and nutrients to the extent specified in the growing guide.

  • Remove the label on the seed pods and check the seeds.

  • Place the seed capsules in the kit into the baskets in the smart garden.
    • Cover the baskets with germination caps.

  • Press the ( ) button to open the germination mode, raise the telescopic arm

  • Don’t forget to do your nutrient water changes and increase the light according to the plant schedule.

  • When the plants are 1-2 cm, remove the germination caps, press the ( ) button to turn on the growing mode.

  • Remember to replenish your nutrient water and increase the light according to the plant schedule.

  • When your products are ready for harvest, you can start consuming them with a partial harvest, or you can switch to the new kit by making a full harvest.

  • When you’re fully harvested, throw away the used seed pods and clean your Smart Garden. *You can find the details of partial harvesting, full harvesting and cleaning processes in the manual.

General Process of Growing Experience for Arzum x Vahaa Kit Fruity / Flowering Plants

  • Unplug your garden and disconnect it from the adapter connection.
  • If you have grown before, make sure that there is no water or nutrients in the water tank from the previous growth
  • Fill the water tank with drinking water and nutrients to the extent specified in the growing guide.
  • Remove the label on the seed pods and check the seeds.
  • Place the seed capsules in the kit into the baskets in the smart garden.
  • Cover the baskets with germination caps.
  • Press the ( ) button to open the germination mode, and raise the telescopic arm.
  • Don’t forget to do your nutrient water changes and increase the light according to the plant schedule.
  • When the plants are 1-2 cm, remove the germination caps, and press the ( ) button to turn on the growing mode.
  • Remember to replenish your nutrient water and increase the light according to the plant schedule.
  • Turn on the fruiting light by pressing the ( ) button in parallel with the time specified in the guide.
  • Follow the notifications and guidance from the app for the nutrient and water addition cycle.
  • Pollination at intervals specified in the manual.
  • When your products are ready for harvest, you can start consuming them with a partial harvest, or you can switch to the new kit by making a full harvest
  • When you’re fully harvested, throw away the used seed pods and clean your Smart Garden.
    *You can find the details of partial harvesting, full harvesting, and cleaning processes in the manual.

CLEANING

  1. Unplug the adapter and disconnect it from the connecting cable.

  2. Pull the tabs inward to detach the telescopic arm from the water tank.

  3. Remove it from the water tank by holding the telescopic arm and pulling it upwards.

  4. Detach the tray from the water tank.

  5. Disconnect the water engine box from the water tank by pressing inward from the sides. You can also perform the cleaning process without removing the water motor box from the water tank. In this case, be careful not to let the water come into contact with the cables and connectors.

  6. Separate the support parts inside the water tank from the tank.

  7. Place the water tank on the edge of the sink so that the water drain plug underneath corresponds to the inside of the sink. Turn the drain plug 90° counterclockwise and completely drain the nutrient water from the tank.

  8. Make sure that the seal around the drain plug remains in place. If improperly closed, it may cause water in the tank to leak around the appliance and cause damage.

  9. Remove the filter sponges by lifting the lid of the water engine and washing them so that there is no sediment with warm water.

  10. Wash the water tank, baskets, tray, germination covers, and drain cover with warm water and dishwashing detergent with the help of a sponge and rinse with plenty of water. (Never wash any part of the product in the dishwasher at this stage.)

  11. After the parts are completely dry, replace the drain plug and make sure it is completely closed by turning the plug 90° clockwise.

  12. Then take turns inserting the support parts inside the water tank into the water tank.

  13. Place the water motor in the middle of the water tank. At this stage, be sure to carefully insert the adapter connection cable into the gap in the middle of the water tank.

  14. Carefully place the filter sponges in front of and on both sides of the water motor.

  15. Place the tray in the water tank and place the baskets in the gaps on it.

  16. Place the telescopic arm attached to the LED module inside the water motor box and make sure that the tabs of the fitting are locked to the water motor.

  17. Connect the adapter to the connecting cable and plug the adapter into the socket.

PARTIAL HARVEST AND FULL HARVEST
From the beginning of the harvest period, you can start consuming your plant with a partial harvest, or you can start a new kit growing experience with a full harvest. You can continue to grow your plants in this way until growth stops on edible leaves or until flowering is observed. You can access the most up-to-date partial harvest and full harvest information on our website and application.
A. Partial Harvest
Partial Harvest is the process that is performed after the plants have grown a little (at least 10 cm) and you want to consume your plant without making a full harvest. Plants will continue to grow after this process.
Why partial harvest?
– It allows you to use your plants fresh whenever you want. It allows plants to grow more smoothly. It ensures that plants of different sizes grown side by side do not shade each other. It allows them to benefit from the light better by keeping the height of the plants at the appropriate level. The Smart Garden allows you to free up space for plants to thrive. Different partial harvesting method is suggested for different plants:

  1. In plants such as basil, sweet basil, mint, and lemongrass, the upper parts of the plants can be cut from the stem to shorten the height of the plants approaching the light. During this process, it is very important not to damage the growth points at the points where the lower leaves meet the stem of the plants.

  2. In plants such as dill, parsley and chard, the outer leaves can be pruned by cutting them from a point close to the root. In the meantime, it is very important that the young leaves and stems in the interior are not damaged. Plants with damaged growth points may not continue to grow after partial harvesting. Partial harvesting should be done with the help of fine-tipped scissors and about one-third of the plant should be left to allow the plants to grow again.

B. Full Harvest
It is the process of harvesting the plant completely after it has completed its development. You can consume your plants fresh after harvesting or cut the roots overflowing from the basket and store them in your refrigerator for a longer period of time with seed capsules.

  1. If you want to consume your plants immediately, cut your plant over the root collar with the help of scissors.

  2. If you want to store your plants for a longer time, you can remove the plants with the seed capsules from the device. During this process, it may not be easy to pull out the seed capsule, as the plant roots come out of the cavities of the basket; to separate the seed capsule from the basket, you can easily remove the seed capsule from the basket by cutting the enlarged roots with the help of scissors.

  3. After the harvesting process, the baskets should be cleaned and stored for the next cycle. Check the Cleaning page for basket cleaning.

  4. If there are other plants that continue to develop in the Smart Garden, close the basket container with the basket closures that come with the Smart Garden so that the roots of other plants do not get light and they can continue to grow in a healthy way.

Note: It is not possible to reuse the seed capsules after harvest.
