LPC09 Ceiling Right-Angle Joint – Fitting Instructions
This leaflet details how to use the LPC09 right-angle joint to fix a custom
rail arrangement of the Thorlabs Curtain system.
For the continuing safety of the operators of the equipment and for the
protection of the equipment itself, the operator should take note of the
Warnings, Cautions and Notes throughout this leaflet, and, where applicable,
in any associated literature.
Caution
Screws or fittings to attach the joint plate to the ceiling are not included.
Always choose screws and fittings which are suitable for use in your ceiling
and have enough holding power. If you are uncertain, contact a specialised
retailer.
1.1 Assembly
1.1.1 Parts Included
1.1.2 Fitting the Ceiling Right-Angle Joint Plate
- Insert the half joint plates (B) into the extrusion, one into each side of the 90° joint, and slide to the required position as shown in Fig. 1.2.
- Using the four M6 x 16 countersunk bolts (A) provided, attach the right-angle ceiling joint plate (C) to the curtain rail.
- Using appropriate fixings through the holes highlighted below, attach the bracket to the ceiling.
