OPERATION

Warning

This tool is design with a maximum load of 1500 pounds. Under no circumstances should it be used to lift a load.

Do Not wrap the strap around a load and hook it back to itself. Doing so will cause undue stress on the strap and cause it to malfunction.

Do Not use the entire length of the strap. Leave at least 3 full turns of strap on the ratchet at all times Do Not lengthen the handle in any manner. Do Not jerk or suddenly start the turning of the handle as this will cause a spike loading that exceeds capacity and causes product failure

Operation

  • Make certain the winch is properly bolted securely to a stable structure that can support the weight of the winch and the load being pulled.
  • Refer to the boat , vehicle and trailer owners manual before use
  • Once the anchor point on a load is identified, attach the hook A (figure 1) making certain the Safety Latch B (figure 1) closes completely and is unobstructed. Do Not loop the strap around the object and hook onto itself. When enough strap has been released, lock the strap in place.
