NETGEAR AGM731F SFP 1G Fiber Module Installation Guide
The 1000Base-X SFP transceiver module provides full-duplex 1000Mbps Ethernet operation in each direction for NETGEAR managed switches.
The switch automatically detects the module, so you can simply plug it into an available module slot.
WARNING: Because invisible laser radiation might be emitted from the aperture of the port when no fiber cable is connected, avoid exposure to laser radiation and do not stare into open apertures.
Install the module
-
Insert the module into a slot that supports the SFP interface. You will hear a click sound when the module is firmly seated.
-
Lift the latch on the module to lock it in place.
Remove the module
-
Lower the latch on the module to unlock it.
-
Grasp the sides of the module and pull it straight forward out of the slot.
